The location was convenient for us as we were just passing through and we simply hopped back on the highway. Not convenient to town but surrounded by shopping and basic restaurants. The facilities are great. Star was friendly and professional. Parking was easy and they provided free EV charging with foot connectors! Pool area is great with jacuzzi, kids splash area and separate lap pool.

The rooms were excellent and well appointed. The pool area was perfect for my kids and was definitely the highlight for them. I only dropped one star in the ratings because the stairs for the water slide were actually quite disgusting and the caulking is all moldy with black mold. Overall, an excellent experience! We will definitely stay again and look for the same chain in other cities based on this stay.

As always, wonderful staff in all roles related to accommodation. The rooms are excellent and location is easily accessible from the TransCanada highway. Lots of nearby amenities. We have stayed here many times and are always appreciative of the suite with kitchenette. The one thing that we feel is excessive and inappropriate is the calculation of the pet fee. The charge is daily for pet fee cleaning, yet room refreshing is every two days. How does this make sense?

Excellent place to stay while passing through Medicine Hat. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast was just ok. It was very typical hotel type of breakfast. The coffee was however cold. It is located near the number one highway so you do hear traffic noise in the rooms. Yes I would stay again while passing through.

I liked the water park very much. The room was good but the shower caused water to run out onto the floor when I was showering. Staff were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will likely return again.

We stayed here with our dog for one night, and the staffs are super nice. The lady who helped us checking in gave us a bigger room so there’s more space for my dog to hang around. The room is very clean, new and well equipped. Highly recommend if you are staying in Medicine Hat. Only down point is the AC is a bit loud.

Great place to stay if you’re in the Medicine Hat area, especially for an extended stay. Rooms have a kitchenette fitted with everything you need to prepare a simple meal which is so nice. Breakfast here is one of the better ones I’ve had. Highly recommend!

Every member of the staff we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to make our stay pleasant. We booked a King Bed Suite and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well-equipped — it more than met our needs and offered great comfort throughout our stay. Everything you need for a business trip or a relaxing family leisure stay, this place has it! Including a well equipped gym and a fun pool and hot tub for kids and adults alike! A special shoutout to Leslie, the chef/hostess at the breakfast area. She was an absolute gem — gracious, welcoming, and attentive. Her warm personality added a lovely touch to our mornings, and she consistently checked in to ensure guests were well taken care of. The daily breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a variety of great options. We highly recommend TownePlace Suites above other hotels in the Medicine Hat area. Stayed in a suite with a separate bedroom and it was fantastic. Very spacious and clean. Just perfect. The pool was a big big hit for my kids too. Enjoyed the continental breakfast too. Great hotel, wonderful staff, will definitely come back if ever in Medicine Hat.

This property was very nice, however I was charged 160$ and had to call several times during my holiday to get my money back. I was told Incidentals would be $20.00 so I’m not sure why they took the money as my room was prepaid for. I’m glad I always double check my visa after I stay at a hotel.

10/10 would stay again. Cindy went above and beyond at checkin. Room was perfect. I usually stay at TownePlace for business as love the rolling table/desk option, but the space worked just as well for relaxing and visiting. Breakfast is top notch. Amazing selections and little details. Leslie ensured we had everything we needed.

Stay was great as always. I appreciate they have an earlier and later check in/out than most. The pool is excellent for kids. The continental breakfast has a large variety of hot and cold items and is staffed with extremely friendly people to help. The hotel is a little pricier than others, but you can't argue they aren't providing amazing service and working for it. 10/10 wpuld recommend and stay again!

Really nice newer rooms. Helpful staff. Typical free breakfast with lack of better quality items, but grocery store nearlyby and you have a kitchen so it's easy to grab a healthy few things and enjoy in your room. Starbucks nearby too for a good coffee.

Excellent place to stay while passing through Medicine Hat. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast was just ok. It was very typical hotel type of breakfast. The coffee was however cold. It is located near the number one highway so you do hear traffic noise in the rooms. Yes I would stay again while passing through.

The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because in the morning I could hear kids running / jumping around upstairs. Other than that, I’d come back. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Breakfast had lots of selections, it was good.

The rooms were nice and room and clean. Breakfast was good but wish the eggs were watery which was a bit unappetizing and need a better selection of tea but over all good. Better then most. And love the fact they had bacon which most hotel breakfast have that nasty sausage. Pool was really good. We had fun. Only thing was the eggs and tea lol so over all awesome

10/10 would stay again. Cindy went above and beyond at checkin. Room was perfect. I usually stay at TownePlace for business as love the rolling table/desk option, but the space worked just as well for relaxing and visiting. Breakfast is top notch. Amazing selections and little details. Leslie ensured we had everything we needed.

We were on the first floor & the floor above us we could here very loud walking/running until 11:30 pm so couldn’t fall asleep like we would have liked to

This will now be my go to hotel whenever I goto Medicine Hat, it was our first time here, we normally stay at the lodge but it has gone downhill. The pool was fantastic for kids. The breakfast was amazing!! Much better than the usual continental breakfasts you get else where. Manager was really friendly. The 2 ladies we dealt with at during breakfast were sooo friendly just absolutely amazing. We dealt with multiple people at the front desk. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and helpful. The cleaners were nice as well!! Can't say enough good things about this hotel. The suprise of the lemonade/iced tea when you enter the lobby was a nice touch. Room was a nice layout, clean, and spacious.
