We thoroughly enjoyed our one night here. Check in was easy, the meal recommendation was great. The bed was very comfortable and we would definitely like to stay again

Our second stay at The House at Glenbarr, which is a little gem and well worth a visit and/or stay. Boutique style rooms and a residents lounge with kitchen to enable self catering. If booking The Hayloft, it’s a suite with its own kitchen. On site there’s a general store, and lovely gift shop, cafe and garden centre. Staff all very helpful and it’s the hub of the wee community of Glenbarr, which is slightly inland hence no sea view.

The facilities were great . Our room was the Hayloft and was fantastic . I would say more like a studio flat with our own kitchen dining and lounge areas . It was very relaxing such a lovely place overall. We chose to have breakfast in the cafe each morning and it was excellent. The staff were very helpful when it came to local eating out for evening meals and things to see and do . I definitely agree with others I would give it a 10 out of 10 and will be back

Very peaceful place, the room was a decent size and bathroom large. Nice quiet area. Room clean but unfortunately my TV signal did not connect and the hairdryer was unsafe other than that happy with my stay

Lovely location out of town and on a quiet street. Owner also operated a restaurant and garden center. So many of your needs were really just a step away. We really appreciated the way it was sort of hands off. We stayed 2 nights. Beds were very comfortable.
