The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but there was no refrigerator. Maybe I just assumed there would be. There was NO ELEVATOR. This made it extremely difficult to carry luggage to our room. The hot tub was nice. Saturday’s breakfast was continental; but on Sunday, they added eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Almost everything was closed due to off season. I did not know this when I scheduled. They should have this posted with the lodge information. There were several things we wanted to do and couldn’t. We had to drive to another town. I would never have chosen this lodge had I known there was nothing to do. Very disappointing.

I have stayed here many times when visiting Stratton. However, this time , the room I requested was over booked. But that was ok. The front desk staff was so accommodating. They gave us a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo !!! Total score !!!

The property was pretty rundown. The room was neat but the rugs look like they’ve never been cleaned. Our check in process was rushed and the desk clerk never mentioned where and when we could get breakfast. There are many stairs and no elevator. It was tough getting luggage in and out. One plus was the breakfast was pretty good.

Nice hotel. Dated, but nice. Internet speed and connectivity is terrible. Good launching point for the Stowe area attractions to allow access off of back routes to avoid traffic. No breakfast.
