Très bel hôtel dans le cœur de Santillana personnel adorable et très serviable et accueillant Vielle bâtisse avec mobilier à l’ancienne très beau et plutôt confortable Petit déjeuner très bien Il y a un parking mais difficile d’accès nous avons préféré nous garer à l’entrée du centre ce qui nous a coûté 2€ … Très jolis salons intérieurs et extérieurs

En general muy buena estancia. El hotel es muy bonito y tranquilo en el centro de Santillana. Tiene un personal muy bueno, que intenta ayudar en lo que necesites y es de agradecer. El problema es que al ser una casa palaciega no está totalmente, acondicionada en sus habitaciones, para ofrecer una estancia de 5 estrellas, es más de 4. En la habitación hace frio porque la calefacción no funciona bien y tienes que llamar a recepción para que suban a verificarlo. en nuestro caso no hubo calefacción en los dos dias que estuvimos, lo que en otoño e invierno no es confortable. Otra de las cuestiones que no me gustaron es que te cobren 13 euros por alojar el coche en el patio sin cubrir dentro del hotel. Al menos en temporada baja y estando el patio vacio, debian dejar acceso gratuito al patio y no cobrar por dejar el coche al aire y sin cubrir. Eso no me gustó. Aparcamos en un parking cercano que estaba vacio y es gratuito en Noviembre que el pueblo está vacio. Los desayunos son correctos con variedad suficiente. Los baños de las habitaciones deberíán al menos de actualizarse para ser de 5 estrellas, se ven un poco antiguos, sobre todo en las bañeras y en su grifería. Con todo, si volveriamos, sobre todo por su personal y la preciosa decoración.

Wow factor property! Beautifully renovated private household, sumptuous surroundings and felt such a personal hotel experience. Great off-road parking in safe and secure car park. Warm welcome on arrival from the lovely Eva and Antonio was very attentive in serving us wine at the bar. Stunning bedroom and bathroom, shame we were only there for one night. Next time!

This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced.

Reading some previous us reviews I am not sure what some people are expecting when they book an historic hotel? This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that\'s how it was 500 years ago. We were welcomed by Eva and shown where to park. All the staff could not have been more helpful. It has a lovely little bar and serves a lovely breakfast. The situation is right in the centre of the old town, which is wonderful to walk around after all the day visitors have left. Our room had a delightful little balcony and was very comfortable with a huge comfy bed. It is a little " noisy" creaky floorboards, water in pipes etc but that is the nature of this age of building. It was perfectly quiet overnight. We loved it and would certainly stay again. Thank you

Tolles historisches Haus, was liebevoll zu einem Hotel umgebaut wurde. Aus unserer Sicht eindeutig keine fünf Sterne. Wir wohnten im Dachgeschoss, relativ wenig Licht, und das Fenster mit dem Moskitonetz war sehr ungepflegt. Das Weiteren waren die Pflegeprodukte Body Creme eine Tube bereits halb genutzt. Alles in allen ein schönes Hotel mit Verbesserungspotenzial

昔の貴族の館を改装した小規模なホテルです。家族経営的で、女将は非常に気が利く「おもてなし」の人です。レストランも2ヶ所予約を入れてくれました。施設は木造で壁の絵や装飾など、それなりに歴史が感じられますが、バスタブや水回りも清潔で快適でした。ベランダ付きの部屋でしたが、周りはたくさんの樹々に囲まれ、庭で昼食をとった時には、白い猫が寄ってきて、心が癒されました。

Bel hôtel mais l’isolation phonique avec la chambre à côté, en fait la salle de bain était très mauvaise et on entendait tout ce qu’il se passait dans leur salle de bain. Nous avons essayé de changer de chambre mais ce n’était pas possible.

All the good things that most travelers have said are true. It’s beautiful, friendly, service is good, great location, easy parking. We did not like our room on the 2nd floor at all. It was small, dark, windowless, and the air conditioning was not reliable. The bathroom was fine, but water pressure was low and the hair dryer is not very strong. The room has a good coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. The common areas are lovely and so is the small garden courtyard. The mosquitos mean business - just came from the drugstore in Bilbao because I have two nasty bites on my face that won’t go away. They should replace the room safe. If you get a better room and use insect repellent if there r mosquitos when you are there you will love it.

This was an amazing hotel in an absolutely stunning locale. The staff knew who I was as soon as I walked in to check-in. They were friendly and spoke English, and were eager to tell me about the history of the hotel and to show me and my family around. Our stay was quiet and comfortable, and I recommend adding their excellent breakfast. Should the chance arise, I will absolutely stay again and I wholeheartedly recommend. The only caveat I would add is that parking is a little inconvenient, and it is hard to find the hotel if you are driving into town. That being said, it is not the hotel's fault, but the unique set up of Santillana del Mar, which is not a town that is conducive to driving. I would like to thank Casa del Marques for an excellent stay, and we hope to see you all again!

Absolutely beautiful! We loved the hotel! Its a lovely historic building that has been renovated, the room was huge in comparison with other European hotel rooms, and service was great too! The lady at the front desk went above and beyond by even making our dinner reservations.

They were friendly and spoke English, and were eager to tell me about the history of the hotel and to show me and my family around. Our stay was quiet and comfortable, and I recommend adding their excellent breakfast. Should the chance arise, I will absolutely stay again and I wholeheartedly recommend. The only caveat I would add is that parking is a little inconvenient, and it is hard to find the hotel if you are driving into town. That being said, it is not the hotel's fault, but the unique set up of Santillana del Mar, which is not a town that is conducive to driving. I would like to thank Casa del Marques for an excellent stay, and we hope to see you all again!

Wow factor property! Beautifully renovated private household, sumptuous surroundings and felt such a personal hotel experience. Great off-road parking in safe and secure car park. Warm welcome on arrival from the lovely Eva and Antonio was very attentive in serving us wine at the bar. Stunning bedroom and bathroom, shame we were only there for one night. Next time!

This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced.

Reading some previous us reviews I am not sure what some people are expecting when they book an historic hotel? This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that\'s how it was 500 years ago. We were welcomed by Eva and shown where to park. All the staff could not have been more helpful. It has a lovely little bar and serves a lovely breakfast. The situation is right in the centre of the old town, which is wonderful to walk around after all the day visitors have left. Our room had a delightful little balcony and was very comfortable with a huge comfy bed. It is a little " noisy" creaky floorboards, water in pipes etc but that is the nature of this age of building. It was perfectly quiet overnight. We loved it and would certainly stay again. Thank you
