This is a very cute hotel with large, clean rooms, a relaxing outdoor pool, a tiki bar, and a restaurant. Cross an exercise path, walk through some dunes, and you will be on the beach. The staff were helpful when we needed assistance. The hotel is located a short 8-10 minute walk along an exercise path to the nearby town of Canet d'en Berenguer where there are restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Very nice hotel with free parking which is very unusual in Spain. Our only issue was the shower which is really a bathtub with a handheld shower head that doesn’t stay put and the floor is extremely slippery

A stunning hotel, beautifully located for walks along a quiet beach. Service was especially good. We were guests in October so we didn’t use the pool (though it was open) and the beach bar/restaurant wasn’t open so we were slightly restricted to the buffet meals in the main restaurant. The food was good but fairly typical buffet fare. We would love to return when the weather is a little warmer.

Great location to stop over on the way from the South of Spain to France. Very friendly. Great for pets: dog walk either by the beach directly in front of the hotel or the boardwalk.

Newly renovated hotel. Pet friendly. Spotlessly clean and friendly, professional staff. Bed was super comfortable and room was very spacious with an outdoor enclosed courtyard. Opposite a fabulous beach, Nothing open nearby (March) so had to eat in hotel (not our preferred choice) Buffer dinner was ok but poorly presented and certainly not worth 22 euros pp. Breakfast, on the other hand, was much better. However, there is a small difference in price between reserving at reception and just turning up! This was not explained at check-in

Perfect location right next to the beach. Free parking and excellent buffet with super friendly staff. We had an amazing stay and will surely return. The dog was also warmly welcomed.

The perfect place for a mini vacation. Definitely worth staying here. The one thing I did not like was the noise coming from the hotel’s a la carte restaurant which is adjacent to the clean and refreshing pool. I will be back for sure

An easy to find hotel, just off the motorway. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Check in was quick and easy. There is a pool, but we didn’t use it, but lots of sunbeds around for use. Also just a short walk to the beach. Our room was in the third floor - there is a lift - and was very quiet. Nice to have a reasonable size balcony with umbrella as well. There is a courtyard bar and restaurant, and the food was great. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Ungeziefer – Kaputt - Dreck ! Leider kann ich hier keine 0 Sterne vergeben aber dieses Hotel war das schlechteste Hotel, welches ich jemals besucht hatte. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen, daher hier mein Fazit und ich hoffe damit andere Urlauber vor einem Fehler bewahren zu können. Ungeziefer: Leider hatten wir neben mehreren Spinnen im Zimmer auch eine Kakerlake im Zimmer. Ja, in Spanien muss man damit mal rechnen, aber es gibt auch Wege, wie so etwas verhindert werden kann z.B. dichte Fenster und Türen. Daneben mussten wir leider auch einen ekligen Fund am Frühstücksbuffet machen, im Orangensaft war eine Made. Ja, es ist ein Naturprodukt aber trotzdem widerlich! Kaputt: Das Hotel wurde offenbar mal teilweise renoviert, so war unser Bad teilweise neu aber der Rest des Zimmers ist bereits sehr in die Jahre gekommen und vieles ist kaputt, siehe Fotos bei Google. Die Betten erinnern eher an Bretter, selten so schlecht geschlafen. Dreck: Das Zimmer war sehr verschmutzt, neben einigen Spinnen und Spinnweben lag unter dem Bett, auf den Sesseln sehr viel Dreck, man wollte eigentlich nichts berühren. Allgemein: Das Hotel liegt sehr abseits, keine Restaurants oder andere Einrichtungen in der Nähe. Wer mit dem Auto kommt, sollte besser einen Kleinwagen haben, da die Parkplätze extrem eng sind. Frühstück ist eher unterdurchschnittlich aber ausreichend (bis auf die Made…) Der Strand eignet sich nicht zum Baden.

Hotel was smart, clean and the room was modern and spacious with a nice balcony. Pool was lovely and the gym was decent. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be working there. Only constructive points from me was to provide more water - 2 cartons on arrival is not enough; filtered water in bottles would be sufficient. Same goes for the lack of cups/glasses in the rooms, 2 paper cups on arrival didn't get replaced. I think for the cost of the sea view rooms, when staying a week, a small coffee machine and water refills would go along way.

El hotel está muy chulo aunque actualmenre está en obras parciales con lo tiene los servicios que ofrece totalmemte disponibles. Creo que tiene menos personal del que debería tener para dar un servicio de 4 estrellas.

We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to the presidential suite, it was much appreciated. The staff were great and helpful with all of our needs. It’s a very quiet area and it was enjoyable to have private access to the beach, the only hard part was that there are few ride share options, it’s exclusively taxi and buses. The bike route to the main town was amazing, loved the scenes and it was nice to have access to bikes like that. Would recommend this property for those who want peace and quite and the ability to relax for a few days, would go back again!

Newly renovated hotel. Pet friendly. Spotlessly clean and friendly, professional staff. Bed was super comfortable and room was very spacious with an outdoor enclosed courtyard. Opposite a fabulous beach, Nothing open nearby (March) so had to eat in hotel (not our preferred choice) Buffer dinner was ok but poorly presented and certainly not worth 22 euros pp. Breakfast, on the other hand, was much better. However, there is a small difference in price between reserving at reception and just turning up! This was not explained at check-in

An easy to find hotel, just off the motorway. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Check in was quick and easy. There is a pool, but we didn’t use it, but lots of sunbeds around for use. Also just a short walk to the beach. Our room was in the third floor - there is a lift - and was very quiet. Nice to have a reasonable size balcony with umbrella as well. There is a courtyard bar and restaurant, and the food was great. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Very underrated hotel. This place is spectacular. Rooms are impeccable. The hotel staff is outstanding. Very friendly, helpful and they make you feel at home, and always take a few extra minutes to chat with you. Yolanda in the restaurant is 2nd to none , quality service with a smile

This is a very cute hotel with large, clean rooms, a relaxing outdoor pool, a tiki bar, and a restaurant. Cross an exercise path, walk through some dunes, and you will be on the beach. The staff were helpful when we needed assistance. The hotel is located a short 8-10 minute walk along an exercise path to the nearby town of Canet d'en Berenguer where there are restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Just a one stay as we travelled from Malaga to Sitges, but we wish we had booked an additional few nights. What a great hotel, in a lovely location. Getting there and parking were easy as well.

Great location to stop over on the way from the South of Spain to France. Very friendly. Great for pets: dog walk either by the beach directly in front of the hotel or the boardwalk.

We loved Hotel Baru and I've already recommended it to some people on a Barcelona travel site! Very comfortable with the view of the Mediterranean that I had requested! The breakfast buffet was fabulous, lots of variety and excellent coffee! It was nice having a good restaurant as there weren't a lot of restaurants in the area and then there was a religious holiday so many of the restaurants were closed. Most important of all was the proximity to the beach!!!! Nice walking/running path. Boardwalk to the very quiet beach with a lifeguard. Locals and vacationers were there. The turquoise water was soft and the waves were gentle. The beach had about 5 feet of rocks but once you were in the water it was beautiful sand. I highly recommend.

Ein schönes, relativ neues Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, da ansonsten etwas ab vom Schuss. In einer guten halben Stunde ist man im Zentrum von Valencia.

Staff was very friendly. our room was very spacious and so was the balcony. At dinner time the food was typical Spanish which was good but might not everybodys taste. Negative was that there's no short cut to he city. You have to drive all the way around. The supermarket nearby was easier to walk to than go by car. Besides that I would book the hotel again.

Sehr gutes Hotel wunderbar am Mittelmeerstrand gelegen. Bei vorherigen Aufenthalten waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Diesmal gab es (vielleicht durch Umbauarbeiten?) jedoch nicht akzeptable Probleme in der Restauration. Wir bestellten 2 Menüs zu einem Festpreis und waren ohne entsprechende Information auf der Menükarte erstaunt, dass uns für ein nicht geniessbares Steak und einen ebenfalls schlecht zubereiteten Fisch nochmal jeweils 5 € zusätzlich berechnet wurden.

A stunning hotel, beautifully located for walks along a quiet beach. Service was especially good. We were guests in October so we didn’t use the pool (though it was open) and the beach bar/restaurant wasn’t open so we were slightly restricted to the buffet meals in the main restaurant. The food was good but fairly typical buffet fare. We would love to return when the weather is a little warmer.

Perfect location right next to the beach. Free parking and excellent buffet with super friendly staff. We had an amazing stay and will surely return. The dog was also warmly welcomed.
