It was hot weather and I walked to the pool looking forward to taking a dip and when I got to the pool the pool gate was chained up and there was a pool closed sign. Also there was no refrigerator, I know Motel 6 don’t always have refrigerators but like I said it was hot and I had some cold drinks I wanted to keep chilled. Not the best or worst Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. At least the AC worked

I booked specifically to have a pool, and the pool was closed due to contamination. The photos on the hotel site showed a refrigerator in the room which I counted on, and there was no fridge. The interior and exterior are shabby. Room was clean and staff were helpful, but I suggest to check amenities before booking.

Bath towels were not clean. Ice maker appeared permanently down. Pool was closed because it did not meet County of Ventura requirements. No shampoo. Evening clerk did a good job.

The wifi would only stay connected in the motel office or the parking lot. A couple of times they tried to correct issues but then gave up. The A/C vents were terribly dirty and very visible due to the grate missing from the unit. The built-in bench was not anchored to the wall so everytime you sat to close to the edge it would tip forward. Housekeeping came in everyday which was a surprise. I was there for 8 days so not great without wifi to complete tasks at the end of the day. Pool was also out of commission.

Comparing this motel with others, it's not worth the price. I know, it's california and I'm from Texas, but in a Texan motel 6 you get a frig and microwave. There's none in the rooms here. For that reason it's not worth the price. Walls are just as thin as the others. You know what show your neighbor is watching and how long they take a shower.

Our room smelled awful of cleaning supplies and we could not open the window to air the place out. Also when we took showers, a good half of the water was diverted out of the bathtub spicket. Also the toilet had a mold stain. The county shut down the swimming pool so we were not able to use the pool. On the plus side, the hotel is cheap, centrally located in Camarillo, within walking distance to stores and restaurants.

The good: The price. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was clean. Comfortable bed. The bad: The hotel is right next to the freeway, which is great for convenience, but you clearly hear traffic all night. I didn't sleep well or for long. The desk clerk came off as being inconvenienced by my checck-in. The room smelled terribly of stale cigarette smoke. They only give you a sheet and one thin blanket and a thin bed spread. I personally would not stay here again.

When I checked into the room, the cleaning staff forgot to empty the trash so ours was full of beer bottles and who knows what else. I called the front desk to have them empty it but they told me the cleaning staff wouldn't be back until the next morning.

For some reason we couldn’t be compensated for their dirty water! Couldn’t shower or get ready for an important event! The water was brown! We let the staff know and the only thing they would do is give us extra time to check out. We shouldn’t have to pay for a stay that gave us dirty water!

This was an excellent motel 6. I’ve stayed a various ones and by far this was the cleanliest stay!! The room smelled so clean and fresh. The property was clean, staff was so kind and helpful. Absolutely loved it and would definitely want to stay here again if I ever tackle this way!! Loved it!

The staff were super nice! Hotel pretty clean overall, I gave it a minus one star because this was the smallest room I have ever been in. Not sure if it was because we had a corner room or if all the rooms were tiny..

I'd say that overall the place was decent. The room was on the smaller side for the double beds, one bed was right up on the air conditioner and the air conditioner did not work, but fortunately it wasn't too hot for us to absolutely need it. Opening the window was helpful. Staff for the first 2 days was very friendly, short stalky male with glasses. The day of our check out the lady did not interact much, but i wasn't necessarily bothered by it.

The first room was on the ground floor, which I requested. It was a bit dirty, like the floor had not been swept. The TV was not working so I requested another room. I got a room on the second floor which also looked like it had not been swept. The heater/AC did not work but as the weather was moderate I did not complain, just slept, showered and left.

Only real down side was check in. I walked in, and the lone receptionist kept texting on his cell phone. Even while going through the check in process he kept stopping to reply to his texts. Super unprofessional and inattentive.

I got locked out of my room, the door knob broke. I was put in the room next to it. I needed my belongings and couldn’t get to them until next morning. I asked the front desk for refund and was denied. I was told to wait till 3 pm for the manager to show up

If I could have been refunded once I got there, I would have gone somewhere else! Lots of sketchy people there and the room next to me and above me had people coming in and out all night! I was glad to leave!

Would not recommend for families at all. This is not in a great area. Sherriff kept circling the property at night when we arrived. Stay somewhere else.

It’s close to 101 freeway and there’s a shopping across the freeway which is easy to get to. There’s the Denny’s next door and Jack in a Box within walking distance and when I say walking distance it’s right in front of the hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. It’s also pet friendly!! There’s a little “lake” behind the hotel and plenty of areas for your fur babies to do their “business” smoking area as well. This property is very clean when it comes to grounds. Doesn’t smell like poop or cigarette. Thank you for a great night of rest.

There’s the Denny’s next door and Jack in a Box within walking distance and when I say walking distance it’s right in front of the hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. It’s also pet friendly!! There’s a little “lake” behind the hotel and plenty of areas for your fur babies to do their “business” smoking area as well. This property is very clean when it comes to grounds. Doesn’t smell like poop or cigarette. Thank you for a great night of rest.

Our room smelled awful of cleaning supplies and we could not open the window to air the place out. Also when we took showers, a good half of the water was diverted out of the bathtub spicket. Also the toilet had a mold stain. The county shut down the swimming pool so we were not able to use the pool. On the plus side, the hotel is cheap, centrally located in Camarillo, within walking distance to stores and restaurants.

It’s close to 101 freeway and there’s a shopping across the freeway which is easy to get to. There’s the Denny’s next door and Jack in a Box within walking distance and when I say walking distance it’s right in front of the hotel. I stayed in a two bedroom. The room was small and overcrowded. One of the beds was completely against the AC unit making that bed uncomfortable to sleep in due to the direct airflow. The showers and towels were both dirty. If you stay here I would recommend bringing your own towels, shampoo/conditioner, and shower sandals.

Bathroom plastic tape attached to plastic vent . When I went to use the bath towel there was a large amount of pupic hair attached to the towel. I talked with the staff member at the desk. I was advised that since I was staying for 2 days that the room wouldn’t be cleaned. I asked just for the towel to be replaced and she said it would happen . This task wasn’t done. No microwave and no refrigerator this hotel was a motel 6. No improvements done. Also the sink was wasn’t working properly.
