Great location. Rooms were very comfortable and surprisingly quiet as there was a big function on. Breakfast was great and plenty available. Car parking available but the car park itself is a bit of a nightmare, cars parked everywhere and very tight. Still great to have it but would recommend avoiding if you're a nervous driver. Also make sure you have €4 in coins to pay. Cocktail bar was a perfect way to end the night. Plenty to do and see around it, would highly recommend for a quick.weekend

Very nice all stay. Cocktails in the upper bar overlooking the river was perfect after a log day of travel. Clean, friendly, great location, comfy beds. We'll be back and bring friends.

The cleaning staff at this hotel is top tier! From reception to check out we were treated so well. We were there for two nights during a major storm and enjoyed all the facilities from the impressive formal dining to casual food in the cafe/pub. We will definitely be back! Thank you

We had a deluxe king with a river view that was very spacious and comfortable. We celebrated my husband’s 50th while there and received a nice card and chocolates in the room upon arrival. Robes and slippers provided. Hotel is close to all shopping and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Underground Parking on site for low fee of 4 Euros per day. Great included breakfast in the morning that had many options. Only con was the shower head that was in desperate need of descaling.

The location is beautiful, we had a room that looked out onto the river. It was so nice. The room itself was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was convenient and the food was fantastic. The only issues were there was nowhere to put our suit cases but on the floor, the bathroom held the humidity from the shower so everything was a bit damp and the tub/shower wasn’t great. The partial glass wall for the shower moves very easily and therefore allows water to leak all over the bathroom floor.

When we arrived the reception seemed uninterested and took a call rather than deal with us. The bedroom was OK. The breakfast was good but the service was extremely poor. I had to chase down an uninterested waiter to get a coffee. After a wonderful experience at 4 star hotel in Westport this was a considerable difference- mainly un motivated staff....

The Glasshouse was truly a lovely experience. My room was comfortable and quiet, the view was incredible, and breakfast was consistently lovely. But what made the experience memorable was the staff. I can’t call anyone out because they were all exceptional. Every single person treated me like I was the most important person to ever stay there.

From the moment we arrived, the check-in staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The food in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful, and every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly. The rooms are decorated beautifully, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. A special shout-out goes to the reception team for doing everything they could to accommodate us, their kindness and professionalism truly made it!

Check in with Pol was easy and made even simpler when he helped us extend our stay for an additional day. The hotel was conveniently located and provided a great parking rate in an underground garage at their location. Many places to go see within walking distance as well as pubs. Imagine that in Ireland. So to summarize: great staff, food & location. Don’t overlook this place if you’re looking for lodging in Sligo.

It had been years since we were last in Sligo. The Glass House is a great addition to Sligo Town, positioned at a great location on the river and a close drive to County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point. Great dining within walking distance and the Thomas Connolly Heritage Pub with Trad music across the way.

Sligo, although a small city, offers many food and entertainment options easily accessible from The Glasshouse Hotel. We even located a brand new and modern laundromat within in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff members at this hotel were very polite and helpful. We would stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Accommodation and amenities made this a comfortable stay. However Restaurant and Breakfast really let this place down. We tried an evening meal once and would not consider this option again, food was below average and overpriced. Breakfast buffet very poor presentation and quality. Considering the room rate we expected better, and especially when we were told that if we wanted Espresso coffee, we would have to pay extra - totally unacceptable for this class of hotel.

We had a fine stay at this hotel. Staff did not have the same Irish warmth as I had become accustomed to. There was one exceptional staff member- one Irish young man -wish I could remember his name. Rooms were fine but not luxurious. Breakfast was not good at all. The highlight was the bar area. Its lovely. And the view was wonderful from the room and bar. I would like reviewers to start mentioning when hotels have cell towers on their roof and this one has!

Check in was seamless and friendly, the room was spotless, spacious and nicely decorated and the bed and bedding very comfortable. The biggest downfall was the food which was just mediocre and this was disappointing. The waiting staff also started to remove full glasses of drink as they were trying to clear the room, it would have been nicer if they asked people to move to another area or offered to move their drinks to another area. Several people had full glasses of wine or beer confiscated before they realised what was happening. Very poor service. Ir

Very nice all stay. Cocktails in the upper bar overlooking the river was perfect after a log day of travel. Clean, friendly, great location, comfy beds. We'll be back and bring friends.

Great central location and beautiful building. Highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Sligo. Love the breakfast and outdoor terrace. Staff are warm and welcoming .

Bell'hotel, confortevole, bella la stanza deluxe lato fiume. Migliorabile la colazione ricca e soprattutto il personale e i camerieri giovani e inesperti appena assunti. Tariffa troppo alte.

Not impressed this hotel in my opinion is not 4*definitely not ,parking rooms start to be fair we're alright I suppose that's what you expect now days but the only Winners here are the owners I suppose that's what you expect today if staying in Sligo good location if you can get parked and through the confusing traffic system 😒

Great hotel with great location. Easy parking in the basement. Friendly and helpful staff - we forgot a jacket in the room and they were very accommodating in helping return it to Norway. All in all a great stay in Sligo.

Beautiful hotel. Parking for six euros a night. Clean room. Located right the central part of the city. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
