Lovely little pub, great food and hospitality. The only issue is the noise from the road, even with windows closed. But that cant be helped!!

This hotel is so dated we though we we had traveled back to 1930, the carpets were well past their sell by date, the noise made at night from the only access which was a back door was unacceptable. Not good

Easy to find in reach of many good places snd beaches to visit with parking .Only 2 disadvantages a lot of road noise and breakfast not served till after 9.30 .

Poor quality meat (8oz Sirloin steak) - over cooked and burnt on edges Room was basic, but dirty, marks on skirting, walls, black mould throughout the bathroom, broken tiles. Live band on till 11:30pm on a tuesday night

Great one night stay ,friendly ,chatty, helpful staff. Good food & Beer.

Excellent value for money. Pros - it’s a lovely pub, with reasonably priced food, a free car car and conveniently located. The room is clean, with everything you need and the staff seemed lovely. Negatives - as others have said, the bathroom in the room is small (nothing they can do about this), the hotel is located next to a busy road (again, nothing they can do) and the rooms are above a pub, so expect some noise until around 23:00hrs. Although there are negatives. The hotel offers excellent value for money and we would stay again.

We had a great stay ,the bar / restaurant were very good. The bar was very impressive & the staff very friendly. The room was OK ,if the toilet / shower a little small.

Lovely pub! Stayed for a night while in the area and couldn't fault it. Food was really nice and plenty of it and good value. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasant enough and quiet and clean. Pub was big with a pool table and darts and is dog friendly. Plenty of parking and even the added bonus of EV charging in the car park if you need it. Happily stay here again if we're ever back in the area!

Was okay for the price but there was hair all around the bath room and the shower leaks into the bed room, pub was quiet and food took an hour to come to the table. Our family bed room was located above the kitchen that had music blaring through the floor boards called twice to reception and eventually it went off but not great when you have a toddler.

It was very dog friendly, we also enjoyed the open mic event.

Lost points as we were greeted with a request to pay the £15 pet charge but this wasn’t mentioned on hotels .com and I had searched for where I could mark that I had a dog. Too felt like less of a bargain after that. Bathroom had some rubbish on the window sill and the shower wall wasn’t clean but apart from that it was fine. Sadly breakfast wasn’t great. We ordered avocado on toast with an egg but sadly it was bought In guacamole which wasn’t the same at all and tasted vinegary.also the poached egg on top achieved the feat of being over cooked on the inside and slimy undercooked on the outside. The reverse was true of the croissant. My 8yr old daughter left half of her pancake as it was too tough to cut around the edges. 😳 Just feel that a little more attention to detail and more care on the breakfast would elevate the stay from a good to a very good without too much effort on the hotels part.

Check in was very friendly. Rooms and hallways a bit tired. Big gap under the door. No soap at sink. Very small TV for quite a big room. The bathroom was quite dirty and the floor/toilet and walls could have been cleaned better.

The noise from the road outside was awful (all night long from HGVs), the room was really tatty - holes in carpets, fraying of bed frame. Room wasn’t vacuumed. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned - pubic hair in shower/ facial hair residue post shave around edge of sink. To think they had the cheek to charge an additional £15 for a dog for ‘extra cleaning’…. Just awful to be honest.

Great stay again. Bed comfortable and room clean. Good grub!

Good value for money. Excellent home made pie for dinner. Good Brains beer. Externally jaded but room was very clean albeit very small.

As a place to stop over for the night, it is okay. There are no frills and I did not expect any for the price. The staff were excellent and made us feel exceptionally welcome. The restaurant served from a gastro menu and again was okay. The room was smaller than expected and the walls are thin, we could hear our neighbours. Facilities were okay, however, the shower did seem to have a mind of its own. Great little stop.

Do not stay here if you want to get any sleep! Room was very dated, smelt like wet dog when we arrived. Uncomfortable matresses and very small ununsable bathroom that felt dirty. Noisy road, music playing through floor from bar past midnight and then other rooms tvs through thin walls till 2am. Staff were friendly enough though.

Very hospitable. Room was basic but very comfortable. The shower was very small and me being not small I couldn’t use it. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again. But might request a room with larger shower if available.

Bathroom is very congested and shower is not working.

Water pressure in the room is too low - shower goes cold if you flush the toilet or run the sink water.

Only one bedside light and not much good for reading as it had a dark brown shade. Bedside lights need to be above the bed. Very disappointing. The mattress springs dug into me every time I turned over and I was aware of them constantly. The pillows were too huge and fat. The shower enclosure has seen better days, too small and nowhere to put anything.

Helpul and friendly staff, had a noisy room on the front which wasn't the hotels fault. Problem with the shower not heating up, generally hotel in need of a makeover.

Easy to book, check in and out. Reasonably priced, clean, comfortable beds. Shower could do with an update

Excellent service. I was travelling to Skanda Vale from London and last check in time was 10pm. I called and informed the hotel that I’ll arrive late due to heavy rain and road blocks. Finally I reached there around early morning 1.30am and there was a Gentleman called Nick was waiting to welcome us. I really appreciate Savoy County Inn staff customer service. I’ll definitely stay again in Savoy county in my future trips

I had booked two rooms for one night for a friend and myself who were walking on the Wales Coast Path. The day before our stay, my friend slipped and damaged his knee and had to go home. We notified the Savoy who had already charged for his room. Despite the best efforts of Expedia through whom the room had been booked, the hotel have decided not to give any sort of refund. I feel that as a gesture of goodwill, they might at least of refunded a portion of the charge.

Hotel was quite a bit dated, wardrobe was missing a handle and tv a bit on the small side. Hotel staff were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the area and neaby places to visit. Meals were good although when restaurant was busy we had to wait over 2 hours for food. I had read in some of the reviews that traffic noise was an issue, I was a bit concerned however we could not hear anything even though our window was open all night.

Close to St.Clears and the main roads to Tenby and Haverfordwest. Downside some rooms are noisy - ours was fine.

The room was very good value for money and we would stay again. The location was good and only a 20 min drive to Tenby. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Compact room but with everything you’d need. Beds very comfy and no noise from the road. Lost points as we were greeted with a request to pay the £15 pet charge but this wasn’t mentioned on hotels .com and I had searched for where I could mark that I had a dog. Too felt like less of a bargain after that. Bathroom had some rubbish on the window sill and the shower wall wasn’t clean but apart from that it was fine. Sadly breakfast wasn’t great. We ordered avocado on toast with an egg but sadly it was bought In guacamole which wasn’t the same at all and tasted vinegary.also the poached egg on top achieved the feat of being over cooked on the inside and slimy undercooked on the outside. The reverse was true of the croissant. My 8yr old daughter left half of her pancake as it was too tough to cut around the edges. 😳 Just feel that a little more attention to detail and more care on the breakfast would elevate the stay from a good to a very good without too much effort on the hotels part.

Very convenient for my journey, clean & comfortable. Would have liked breakfast - but that did not start until 9.30, which I think is the latest start for breakfast at any accommodation I have ever stayed at.

We had a lovely stay, food was amazing! Staff really friendly, Our room was clean, bed was comfy Would definitely stay again!

As a Marston hotel and previously having stayed at a hotel of this group, my expectations were of similar quality, but this hotel sadly didn't meet my expectations. The car park had massive potholes, the rooms were small and dated, with poor finishings and some of them broken that could be easily mended, so not a good eye for detail there (whole on the wall, where the door must have been hitting with the handle, a ball from the end of curtains pole fallen, flimsy finishings, in the family room the space between the beds and the wall was small and had to be careful as the TV and it's cables were stiking out at our face level, which was quite dangerous in a family room with children, etc), there were silverfish in the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable in terms of setting in, as there was no shelves or space for the luggage and the bathroom was extremely small with no room for toiletries at all, just two hooks for towels. The sink was very small and it made it difficult to wash your hands of your face as water would go everywhere. but on the first night one of the towels had large brown stains and put me off. On a good note, the beds were comfortable and had clean sheets. The restaurant staff couldn't cope with the demand on a BH weekend, lack of staff, being not that extremely busy, but busier than usual for them. They run out of items from the menu. The food was good and tasty. The continental breakfast was just cereals hot water for tea/coffee. Cooked breakfast was good.
