Endroit très calme accueil chaleureux idéal pour se ressourcer

I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. It certainly wasn’t worth €22 I think I received a different meal to other guests or to what it usually served because I booked on the same day but I didn’t expect it to be this bad and pay the same price for basic store cupboard food. If they need notice for a proper meal then it should be made clear on the booking site / website. Breakfast was ok, just bread, a croissant and homemade jam. The spa was €10 extra which I wasn't expecting so I ended up paying in total €39 extra (€3 for a glass of wine). The spa (hot tub) was a bit run down and dirty and it was lukewarm and I came out of it shivering. The owners were lovely, the setting was nice and quiet but it really fell short of my expectations.

Sylvie est accueillante. Atmosphère calme et reposante, avec une volonté de garder les traditions et le patrimoine authentique.
