The online information Expedia gave was misleading! There was no breakfast, not even coffee!! Despite it taking a long time to find the solitary employee to check-in, she was a pleasant person. We got the broken coffee maker swapped out and the notes we left on the non-functioning equipment in our room were rectified the next day. The rooms are tiny, but we worked around that, placing our luggage on the bed, or a table. We could see that the owner had recently updated the facilities.

Unfortunately, We ended up leaving. We just felt like it wasn’t a safe area. Looks like they were trying to fix the place up but bedding had holes in it, things were lying on floor instead of hanging on wall, a/c kept tripping the outlet, and the cleaning smell was overwhelming strong, giving me a headache. Also, the office was full of clutter and there was no breakfast area like what was pictured. I guess the price was too good to be true.

It was right on the main road. Easy access and parking. She could not find me in the system even though I called that morning to confirm. Wanted to charge way more until I found the confirmation code. The front desk area was a mess. Junk everywhere. The room smelled musty. No grab and go breakfast or anything. No cups to put coffee in.

It I could give this property a zero, I would. Photos are misleading, no free breakfast as listed. Door did not lock properly all the time. Window locks did not work. Air conditioner was terrible and the heat stayed on while the air conditioner was running. Left after 2 days and asked for refund from Orbitz. Property owner lied and said we had been there 4 nights, when the dates had not yet even passed and we had spoken to them in person when we left. WiFi was super slow and was turned off at night. This property should not come up on searches as they are committing fraud and poor business practices. Sheets were stained, towels were gray and stiff. Bathroom was tiny and only had half a shower curtain. It what I would expect based on photos. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Bathroom was is very poor shape. Towels were skimpy, very thin and some had dirt stains. Soap out of dispensers was horrible, did not lather up. I had to go buy a bar of soap. Very expensive for what we got. No breakfast.

The room was noticeably unclean bugs and dust piled up in the corners, and there were crumbs on top of the comforters. Refrigerator and shower both looked like that hadn’t been cleaned in some time AC didnt work. Very small rooms. Just there to sleep a few hours so we dealt with it but definitely won’t stay again

When we went to the room it was filthy, there were little black droppings on the bed, not sure what it was. The room was not clean, we went right to the desk to tell them we were not staying there. They charged my credit card anyway, I called for the manger 3 times and they will not return my call. I am disputing the charges today.DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

When I checked in, we did not get two rooms together, even though we signed up months ago. Also, a man who works there walked though the lobby into the near bathroom, and proceeded to pee without closing the door. We were promised a continental breakfast every day when we signed up. There was not continental breakfast. My room was missing soap in the dispensers, and the other room had ants that bit someone on the leg at night. They didn’t clean the rooms between nights, or even offer to. They just changed dirty towels. It was clean when we got there, though. I would not go back or recommend this hotel.

When we had no hot water for the second day, and the bathroom smelled so strongly of sewage that we were gagging, we decided to leave and forfeit two nights of payment to get out of there… The room was quite basic, and had some funky smells and dirty edges, burn marks and stains on linens, no soap, no breakfast, no wi-fi, lots of bugs, both dead and alive, and very questionable wiring. When we had no hot water, we talked to the manager who said he’d look into it. The thin, scratchy towels didn’t help much after cold showers. When we went back the second day with the same issue, he became rude and defensive, saying he had fixed it and it was fine. When we raised concerns about the sewage smell, he claimed that his workers were just in there and hadn’t noticed anything. He refused to refund us for the 2 nights that we didn’t stay for, and refused to acknowledge any of the problems. Never, ever stay here!

The person who checked me was cold. The room was clean and in good condition. The mattress was comfortable but the bed platform was made of sheet metal and sounded like duct work being banged on when you are on the bed.

This property canceled my reservation without even contacting me at all. I had a confirmation email of the reservation a week prior to the stay and they didn’t care about that at all. The desk clerk manager was very uncooperative and told me it was not their fault that the reservation was cancelled by Expedia. Expedia never contacted me about a cancellation either. Terrible customer service!

We got the broken coffee maker swapped out and the notes we left on the non-functioning equipment in our room were rectified the next day. *No Heat* - *No Hot Water* - *Bad Customer Service*. After all ready paying $74.00 for the room through HOTELS.com, I arrived to the hotel and I was not even going to be able to get a room key without having "$100 on a card for the hotel to hold". Without having that $100 on a card I wouldn't be able to get the room, even though I already paid for the room. When going into the *12'x12' room* with a dresser blocking the heater. The Heater Did Not Work so there was No Heat, then when going to take a shower there was No Hot Water. By far one of the worst places to stay at. *I advise not staying at this place *

When we went to the room it was filthy, there were little black droppings on the bed, not sure what it was. The room was not clean, we went right to the desk to tell them we were not staying there. They charged my credit card anyway, I called for the manger 3 times and they will not return my call. I am disputing the charges today.DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Wanted to charge way more until I found the confirmation code. The front desk area was a mess. Junk everywhere. The room smelled musty. No grab and go breakfast or anything. No cups to put coffee in.

The price was great, proximity to Hillsdale was perfect. I did notice the bathroom door is too tight to close, and there was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. But linens were clean, the TV worked well, bed was comfortable, and the furnishings were nice.

Most of the lighting in the room did not work. It was not very clean, smelled funny and was generally run down. The towels were of a poor quality and limited quantity. Provided toiletries were of a poor quality as well. Additional towels were provided upon request and the location in relation to Hillsdale College is convenient.

Unfortunately, We ended up leaving. We just felt like it wasn’t a safe area. Looks like they were trying to fix the place up but bedding had holes in it, things were lying on floor instead of hanging on wall, a/c kept tripping the outlet, and the cleaning smell was overwhelming strong, giving me a headache. Also, the office was full of clutter and there was no breakfast area like what was pictured. I guess the price was too good to be true.

Bathroom was is very poor shape. Towels were skimpy, very thin and some had dirt stains. Soap out of dispensers was horrible, did not lather up. I had to go buy a bar of soap. Very expensive for what we got. No breakfast.

When we had no hot water for the second day, and the bathroom smelled so strongly of sewage that we were gagging, we decided to leave and forfeit two nights of payment to get out of there… The room was quite basic, and had some funky smells and dirty edges, burn marks and stains on linens, no soap, no breakfast, no wi-fi, lots of bugs, both dead and alive, and very questionable wiring. When we had no hot water, we talked to the manager who said he’d look into it. The thin, scratchy towels didn’t help much after cold showers. When we went back the second day with the same issue, he became rude and defensive, saying he had fixed it and it was fine. When we raised concerns about the sewage smell, he claimed that his workers were just in there and hadn’t noticed anything. He refused to refund us for the 2 nights that we didn’t stay for, and refused to acknowledge any of the problems. Never, ever stay here!

The room was clean and as advertised. However, the website needs to be updated to reflect that a continental breakfast is not available. The picture of the breakfast area needs to be deleted. Not a deal breaker, but lets be honest, truth in advertising.

It I could give this property a zero, I would. Photos are misleading, no free breakfast as listed. Door did not lock properly all the time. Window locks did not work. Air conditioner was terrible and the heat stayed on while the air conditioner was running. Left after 2 days and asked for refund from Orbitz. Property owner lied and said we had been there 4 nights, when the dates had not yet even passed and we had spoken to them in person when we left. WiFi was super slow and was turned off at night. This property should not come up on searches as they are committing fraud and poor business practices. Sheets were stained, towels were gray and stiff. Bathroom was tiny and only had half a shower curtain. It what I would expect based on photos. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

When I checked in, we did not get two rooms together, even though we signed up months ago. Also, a man who works there walked though the lobby into the near bathroom, and proceeded to pee without closing the door. We were promised a continental breakfast every day when we signed up. There was not continental breakfast. My room was missing soap in the dispensers, and the other room had ants that bit someone on the leg at night. They didn’t clean the rooms between nights, or even offer to. They just changed dirty towels. It was clean when we got there, though. I would not go back or recommend this hotel.

Room was very dirty. Bathroom had weird smell. Bed was covered in hair. Called to get a refund, the man told me he had already talked to my husband and replaced all bedding. Which was a lie. Then hung up on me when I asked for a refund and to cancel the second night. The pictures are very deceiving.

Front desk could not pull up my reservation, took about a half hour to straighten things up after front desk was on the phone with IT. Room was dirty, floors dingy and sticky. Big stain on top of the bed spread. AC unit sounded like a jet plane on the tarmac. We would not stay here again.

First, shame on Hotels.com for even listing this as an option for its user to book. There should be a review process to ensure hotels meet a minimum standard. Second, the hotel. It’s truly disgusting. I knew it would be when I drove in but I already paid for it and knew refunds are not an option. Went in and they couldn’t find the reservation - even with the res number. Finally found it and sent me to the room. Once in there, the room smelled moldy and 2 crickets greeted me on the floor which was sticky. The bed had hair in it, the blanket looked like someone vomitted on it and the bathroom was disgusting. Went back and said no to that room. Went to another room that at least smelled like it was clean. No bugs…visible at least. Minimal hair in the bathroom but it was still dirty. So I stayed because again…no refunds. I slept with the light on so no bugs would think it was safe to come out. The towels looked dirty and used, I dried off with a shirt, In short, never stay here! Of all the questionable places I’ve had to stay this was by far the worst! Truly disgusting!
