When we arrived at the hotel the outside made us second guess our decision of staying here. The outside made my kids not want to stay. But we went in because it said it had been remodeled on the website and i told the kids to at least check it out. We walked inside and it looked nice and smelled clean. The gentleman checking us in was very polite and friendly. I had 2 rooms booked, we got our room keys and went up, opened the door and it smelled clean. The shower/tub and toilet were dirty. We brought it up to the manager. The manager and one of his employees came up as soon as we got back that evening from exploring custer and addressed the issues and cleaned them. But even after cleaning the tub/shower it still had a dark dirty film and probably needs some type of deep cleaning. Tub floor was very soft and had hair line cracks in it, the shower head is loose in both rooms. The beds i thought were comfortable, kids liked the beds ss well. The breakfast was ok, kids werent impressed either and we decided to eat out a few times. My family and I probably wont stay at this location in the future.

Property was clean, the room we had was very large and check in was quick. Beds were comfortable and despite the hotel being completely full and on a busy street, it was reasonably quiet. It is an older property and there is no elevator and I was travelling with an elderly relative so this was an issue for us since we were on the second floor and had to drag our luggage up. The included breakfast is bread/pastries and cereal so just be prepared for that- probably not what you have experienced at other hotels

The front desk person was so friendly, polite. Answered all my questions. The room was dirty, the bathroom mirror was filthy. I thought it may be stained so I grabbed a tissue to wipe it and the dirt came off. The front staff was so kind saying there was breakfast and to please help myself but I could not eat the were knowing how dirty the bathroom was.

Property is not kept up. Not near the standards I expect from a Days Inn. Had a single king room Room was small, no desk and just a couple of straight back chairs. No cleaning service, we had to empty our own trash. When we needed new towers had to go to front desk and ask for them Staff was pleasant but other than checking in, did not do anything This place is not worth the money.

The bathtub was filthy, black mold in the tub, fixtures were discussing, my wife and I did not even take a shower it was that discussing. Absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed in, and we travel a lot. I will not stay in another Wyndham facility from this point forward, you have lost a customer because of this.

Very disappointing. Dirty washcloth was left hanging on shower curtain rod. No lamp. Single bare lightbulb on the wall. Room was way too crowded. Floors didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. Would have demanded a refund if it hadn’t been so late when we got there after a long day.

This room had not been cleaned prior to our check in. There was food smeared on the bedside table. The shower floor was slimy and dirty - it obviously had not been cleaned. There was no bar soap provided. When I requested bar soap from the desk clerk, I was told to use the shampoo provided. The continental breakfast was minimal. There are no elevators. Our room was on the second floor and we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. We are in our 60's. My travel companion ran into a former guest in the lobby as we were checking out and he said he had just been to the doctor for a staph infection, which he believed he contracted from his stay at the hotel. This room was definitely not worth the $142 we spend for one night. We should have read the reviews.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean. The rooms had new carpet, drapes and paint. The lobby is welcoming. Downstairs is the dining area for a continental breakfast. The pancakes are delicious. The hotel is centrally located. We enjoyed walking to shop and to the restaurants. The hotel is near trailheads and the Mickelson Trail. I would highly recommend staying at the Days Inn.

The propertyWas supposedly getting remodeled while we were there, but it was in pretty poor condition. The rooms were very small and cramped and everything was outdated and run down. No Lighting in the rooms at all. It was very quiet however and the beds were comfortable. Probably worth it for the money that we paid because it was the cheapest place to stay in town. Don't know if I would stay there again though

On vacation and stayed here at Days Inn. easy parking with a trailer and the personal was great. only one bad issue and that was the A/C, it couldnt keep up with the heat and the personal gave us a fan to use. All in all was a great stay.

Staff was friendly. Asked for the current rate that was lower than our reserved rate, but the front desk attendant said he couldn't lower the charge since we booked through a third-party site. Had a different hotel give us the discount difference without asking, so I know he wasn't being honest. Room was very spacious and comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was HOT!

It appears that the management is trying to get the motel updated. Much of the facilities are good. The bathtub in our room was pretty worn and stained. The bed, however, was great. It was very quiet there.

Ac rattles, shower doesnt work, bathroom vent rattles too and needs to be cleaned. Room too tiny for 2 beds. No room for luggage at all. Seems clean and uncluttered around motel. Didnt know about breakfast downstairs. Wasnt informed at checkin.

The location was convenient. The property was not staffed. No one at the desk. They live in an apartment behind the desk and just didn't come out for 25 minutes even after calling the property. The towell and linen were worn and I could read a paper through the sheets( literally) It was had to communicate with the owners A actual language barrier. I actually felt bad for them.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Days Inn. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was clean and everything seemed relatively new. Guests should be aware there is no elevator. We were on the second floor and had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs with our belongings. Our only other suggestions would be to have more breakfast items available. It would be nice to have breakfast pastries or English muffins available. Also, we found that if we did not get down to breakfast well before 8am, there were limited choices and items available. All that being said, we would not hesitate to stay there again (but would request a ground floor room.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Days Inn. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was clean and everything seemed relatively new. Guests should be aware there is no elevator. We were on the second floor and had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs with our belongings. Our only other suggestions would be to have more breakfast items available. It would be nice to have breakfast pastries or English muffins available. Also, we found that if we did not get down to breakfast well before 8am, there were limited choices and items available. All that being said, we would not hesitate to stay there again (but would request a ground floor room.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. They’ve somewhat renovated the rims but did not update the severely outdated bathrooms. We were asked to MOVE our vehicle (which has a permanent handicap tag), when we pointed out the tag, we were asked “what” and “who” was handicapped. We asked for a ground level room, because there is No elevator and was told no vacancies on the first floor. The family that owns the hotel makes snide remarks about being handicapped when we were coming and going from the hotel. The breakfast is served on the basement level - again, no handicap access. NOT RECOMMENDED.

This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at , it is very clean and kept modern. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful. CJ the manager makes sure his customers are treated right! We will be back , have stayed at this hotel for several years in a row during the Sturgis motorcycle rally!

This is one of those where you shouldn't judge the property based on the exterior. When you first pull up, it looks a bit old and outdated, but it's actually a really nice place to stay. The rooms are decent size and the beds are more comfortable than you'd expect. This is a great location for getting around anywhere in the Black Hills. Next time I'm in the area, this will be my first option when looking for a place to stay.

The pancakes are delicious. The hotel is centrally located. We enjoyed walking to shop and to the restaurants. The hotel is near trailheads and the Mickelson Trail. I would highly recommend staying at the Days Inn.

The non smoking room absolutely reeked of weed. The building was run down and the doors shook terribly when anyone else in the hall shut a door. Breakfast was basic but okay.

We booked a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. After check in was told sofa bed was moved to different room. But they could give me a pillow and blanket for my son to sleep on floor. No thank you. They found a cot they said they didn't have. They had pictures of a pool but no pool and gym closed at 8 to not disturb other guests! Breakfast coffee was only beverage available, there were waffles old bananas and 3 pieces of stale bread.

This hotel was clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. We watched the staff person cleaning the breakfast area, which was nice, and he did the most thorough job I’ve ever seen. The breakfast could have had more options, but that’s my only small issue.

Property was clean, the room we had was very large and check in was quick. Beds were comfortable and despite the hotel being completely full and on a busy street, it was reasonably quiet. It is an older property and there is no elevator and I was travelling with an elderly relative so this was an issue for us since we were on the second floor and had to drag our luggage up. The included breakfast is bread/pastries and cereal so just be prepared for that- probably not what you have experienced at other hotels

We will never stay in this hotel again. At check in the person at the front desk was getting sidetracked with texting and a personal phone call. The hallway floor was very uneven and sloped in different directions. After we got to the room, I pulled the covers back and found stains on the sheet and the pillowcase. I went and told the person up front and he told me that he will go right now and change them. We left the room. After we got back, I saw that the bed was made again. But since I don't trust anybody, I pulled the covers back and the sheet was never changed. It was the same sheet with the same stains in the same spot. The bottom of the bathtub had gray stains. When you turned on the faucet in the tub you had to be careful that you didn't pull the pipe out of the wall. Everything was totally loose. The toilet was the height of the ones you find in public bathrooms for children. I had to pull out the dresser to unkink the cable cord so we could watch TV. Wish we could have found a different hotel, but everything was booked since it was the weekend of the Buffalo Roundup.

This is an older motel, and they all have issues. The bathtub and sink both had trouble draining and that's even with the stoppers as far open as I could get them, so you're basically standing in 2 inches of water after you finish a shower. Breakfast was minimal - did have waffles but mostly prepackaged stuff. I also don't know if there was an elevator - didn't see one. Thankfully I was on the first floor, so didn’t need it. Also, the closet shelf over the clothes hanging rod is so close to the rod it's hard to hang clothes on the rod. It's OK but not great.

The bathroom tile was full of mold, as well as the shower fixture. There was rust on all of the fixtures under the sink and the toilet seat was probably the original toilet seat put on it back in the 70s I’m going to guess. I took pictures of everything as it was that disturbing to me. The outdoor patio area was not maintained, leaving only two outdoor chairs at the front entrance if you would like to sit outside. The air conditioner in our room was flashing clean filter and the light cover on our bedroom wall was missing. For $165 per night I would have expected a lot more from this hotel. The sheets and towels in the room were also old. And speaking with other hotel guests, they expressed the same displeasure. The days in franchise needs to step up and get this place in condition. It could have great possibilities if someone would take the time to make the place nice again.

Facility is dated and needs updated. Minimal amenities, for instance one of our rooms was missing the blow dryer. The bedding was clean and fairly comfortable bed. Bathroom could stand a good scrubbing. Smelled a bit musty. Doors need oiled! On the plus side, conveniently located but we think it is overpriced for what you get.

Small room!! No amenities... No coffee maker, no microwave, no refrigerator. No cover over the bathroom vent. Blood on the back of the bathroom door, dirty unmaintained bathroom. The ONLY thing I can say good about it was it did have a nice bed. Won't do that again...
