Booked a room with a king bed—the person working the desk seemed like he didn't really know what was going on or want to be there. He didn't get a deposit from me, not sure if they just don't here or he forgot or what. Got to my room, yeah, it was a little outdated. An attempt was clearly made at renovating the room, but many of the fixtures were old and cracked. My biggest issue was the AC didn't work. The phone also didn't work. I went to the desk and was told I could be moved into a double queen, but they were "fully booked" on king rooms. At first I said no, but mentioned the phone also not working. I had to ask where the ice machine was, there is ONE and it is clear in the back of the property. I walked all the way back and it wasn't working. I went back to the office to ask if there was another way to get ice (no) and then mentioned the reviews dating back to JULY saying it was broken. I was told "oh yeah, we're trying to have it fixed"... I said, so you know it was broken and still told me to walk all the way back there?! He tried to backtrack, whatever. Anyway, I ended up taking a different room. There were definitely multiple open king bed rooms, but whatever. The AC worked in this one, and it was nicer, but there was no deadbolt on the backdoor, the light was out in the fridge/microwave area, and this phone didn't work either. Restaurant was closed, hot tub was not working. It's a very cool property, but they need to completely close, renovate, and reopen.
