Everything was very clean; staff very friendly, beds very comfortable; nice indoor pool; convenient parking, nice continental breakfast.

Great property for family! We had seamless check in… the rooms are big and have everything you need. The kids loved the heated pool and breakfast! Definitely will choose Home2 suites again in the future when we travel

It was well equipped especially with gym. Would love not to have to pay for parking

A parking fee on top of the room fee seems superfluous. This isn’t DC; if someone is staying at this hotel they probably have a vehicle they need to park. There seems to be ample parking available, so if the issue is with non patrons they cost shouldn’t be paid by patrons.

More than likely we will not be back. We had no hot water in our room the entire stay which was difficult in the middle of winter. I feel that paying almost $300 after taxes and parking was outrageous for ONE night, especially with no hot water whatsoever. Yes, this was reported. Staff was very kind any time we communicated with them but that is not enough to bring us back. Property was clean. Breakfast was decent but the price and water issue-this is unacceptable. Our family of four could not shower properly because of this.

I specifically booked this hotel for the indoor pool, even called the day before to verify the pool was heated, the pool was out of order. We booked a suite and we were given a studio. I have emailed Expedia twice and haven’t heard back. I would like some sort of refund or credit for another suite. Thank you.

i picked this hotel for the pool and other amenities.the pool was closed on the 24 th and 25th for maintenance ,the internet wouldn't work until i had to take my laptop down to front desk to get a signal(my wifes tablet never hooked up),and half the channels on the tv didn't work.not the greatest christmas getaway

The hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The only issue was a small one because the fire pit outside didn’t work, we would have liked to enjoy it while sitting outside. The only other thing is I think it’s kind of ridiculous that they charge $10 a day to park in their parking lot. Other than that I would recommend this hotel.

The property needs a deep cleaning. It wasn’t that clean.

The hotel is pet friendly which I didnt realize when i booked. The room smelled like dogs and my allergies were triggered.

The room was clean however the shower barely got Luke warm. We let the front desk know and they said other rooms were reporting the same thing. The breakfast area was not kept clean and was very messy. Dirty dishes everywhere, overflowing trash, spilled food on the serving counters. We were on the fourth floor and the elevator button was very difficult to get working. Beds were comfortable and kitchen area was very nice in the rooms.

Cleaning staff is excellent. This was possibly the cleanest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely meticulous.

Drinking glasses and the silverware in the dishwasher was dirty. The glasses has finger prints and one of the glasses had lipstick. I have photos. The carpets was not vacuumed. Crumbs were in several places.

Property was fine. Room was decent the second time around. 1st room smelled terrible like dirty feet, they said sometimes after a heavy rain it happens and they don’t know why. Area felt ok- didn’t feel super safe walking at night. Downtown mall was super close but not well lit when walking back down the alley along the rain road tracks. We weren’t at the hotel much- probably would pick a different hotel next time. It’s across the street from fire station so we heard sirens on and off all night.

This hotel in Charlottesville is perfect. Close enough to UVA campus to accommodate move-in, parents weekend or just the general visit. It is clean, spacious, staff is friendly and the breakfast in the morning is a bonus. Unlike most of the closer campus hotels - this one has ample parking.

Not very clean and had to be asked to be moved into the king bed we purchased. Had a strong cleaning smell but wasn’t the cleanest. Hair from shaving plainly visible in the bathroom. Close to the Mall and things but in a awkward place so that walking at night felt more sketchy than it should have. Overall not worth the money. Disappointed

Only comment is that signing on to WIFI in the room is needlessly complicated. Competitors make it easier.

Footsteps on the next higher floor could be easily heard. Heating/cooling fan is very loud.

First off, the night manager was friendly and incredibly helpful. We got in very late and she was amazing. The bed was firm but not uncomfortable. My only knock is the "suite" was not a separate room. It was a curtain that separated the bed from the sofa so if someone was watching the one tv, YOU were also watching whether you liked it or not. The picture was a bit misleading. The kitchen was impressive though. Full fridge, microwave and dishwasher which we didn't even need for a weekend stay but nice to have.

The hotel was nice. Unfortunately our room was under the smoking area and our room smelled of smoke. Plus we had a room next to someone who had the television on loud 24/7. Not what I expect from a Hilton property.

Still-new feeling furnishings (built in 2018) in huge rooms with proper kitchenettes. Equipped with washing liquid, sponges, flatware, dishwasher, etc. Hotplate & skillets on request. Even the bathroom was spacious. Little details like a pull-out table for eating and a curtain between bed & living space made this suite truly livable. Wine glasses would be a nice addition. Proximity to downtown for walking and takeout ordering was awesome My mother didn't want to go home! Perfect choice for solo travelers.

Staff was very helpful, and very pleasant. Walls are thin, could hear the conversation in the room next door, and every footstep in the room above me. Breakfast was below average...eggs were old and dry, biscuits were the same. Great location if you can look past the deficiencies.

Way better than expected. This place was better than my first apartment. I only stayed one night but I was super impressed with how efficiently the large space was used. The rooms were twice the size of another downtown hotel and cheaper too.

Nice building, needs staffing and management work. This is a young suite hotel near the walkable area of downtown Charlottesville. The rooms were nice and new. We were here for 3 days over a holiday, not during graduation. When I walked in, they did not honor the parking charge stated on the public site but charged me $10 a day, rather than the $8 published rate. Everything was understaffed or poorly managed everyday. The front desk person seemed to be managing several functions at once, only a few of which allowed her to be at the front desk. Toilet paper was limited in a fresh hotel room. There were no towels at the pool until we requested them two days in a row. The included breakfast runs out of food and coffee more than 25 minutes before the end of the breakfast buffet. When you remind them for the 2nd time, then they say now its too close to the end to make more food. There were never mugs or paper cups for coffee--another way to make sure you don't have to make much coffee but really cheap. During 3 days we saw shortages each day in towels, mugs, plates, breakfast food, napkins (hidden away in one small corner of the coffee section of the buffet), pool and gym tools. Lots of time no one was at the front desk. Also bags of trash were not removed for more than 8 hours from the hall. The kitchenette was nice but there are no towels, potholders or a single sharp knife in the kitchen. This place needs someone to review their daily guest management plan.

The property was clean, but the receptionist saw I was standing in front of the desk and did not come immediately when I checked in. I needed to wait for 3 or 4 minutes. Maybe she was taking a break outside the building. That was my first experience waiting for the receptionist at the hotel.

The staff accommodated our early arrival and were great.

I had a double Queen with pull out sofa.First sofa bed had snack crumbs in it.They put me another room.Second room had a party over top of our heads all night.People stomping.Ice machine broke on my floor.Morning concierge was VERY RUDE.

Very nice hotel but there was no hairdryer. I called front desk requesting one but it was never delivered. I’m glad I didn’t wash my hair before I realized I couldn’t dry my hair.

The Home2Suites location is great, the room has all the amenities you need and the staff is courteous and helpful.

Came to the room after a night out around 1am, key didn't work so they let us in, door lock kept beeping, they said they couldn't fix it, told us to switch rooms (which was on another floor), so we had to pack up and move, get to the room and there was only one bed, we booked/paid/and had 2 beds. Had to go back down and get another room, which they didnt want to do. After "finding" a room with 2 beds (2 doors down), they asked me to go back up and check if its ok... I said as long as it had 2 beds. They gave me a bottle of water for my troubles.

All the staff members were very professional, friendly and kind! One of the best hotel breakfast offerings ever!

First time at this Hilton in Charlottesville Virginia. My stay there was excellent, very clean and comfortable room, the bed was amazing. The staff was super friendly and gave me some fun places to check out while I was there. The walk to downtown mall with all the really cool restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Already planning my next trip down there, will definitely stay at this Hilton again…Highly recommend…DD

The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Plenty of storage too. An easy walk to the downtown pedestrian mall which is most pleasant with great shopping and dining options. We were able to get an early check in , and the desk person was able to assign rooms in close proximity to the friends we were meeting from out of state. A great experience! Easy to find too. We liked that the parking was in an on site lot right outside the front entrance.

Excellent and convenient location to downtown, food, and shopping.

Walking distance to the historic district with a lot of restaurants and bars. Just a few minutes drive to the UVA campus.

Nice building, but built right next to an active train track that runs all through the night! The window in 433 looks at the back of an ugly food warehouse and to the left is the train track. Trains woke me up as I was falling asleep at 11:30 pm, 2:30 am, and 4 am! These aren't short and rumble the room. Why was this built here? At least warn customers instead of pretending it's not there.

Nice room with all the amenities. The only negative thing about this property is its close proximity to the fire department. Several times through the night I was awakened by the sound of fire trucks leaving the station.

Property was fine disappointed in area near the property primarily downtown mall. Alot of Homeless laying around area, alot of shops closed and pot prevalent, stinch.

The hotel overall is very nice, nw, clean, modern, great use of space. The couch in the room was most uncomfortable to sit on. The indoor pool was cold, no one was swimming in it. Very disappointing. It was also located near the fire department, and they had an emergency several times a day/night.

Breakfast could use some improvement. They didn’t keep food stocked in a timely fashion and the counters could be wiped down more frequently.

This continental breakfast was absolutely the most disgusting continental breakfast I’ve ever seen in a hotel.

I feel if you are paying $200+ a night you should not have to pay $1 for parking each day. Also if you are serving breakfast with cereal and oatmeal you shouldn’t run out of milk two days in a row. Someone from the hotel should go buy a few gallons of milk

All the staff members were very professional, friendly and kind! One of the best hotel breakfast offerings ever!

Good location if visiting Monticello and wine country and easy access to highway. Foyer and room were clean and modern but breakfast was lacking. Seemed like something you would get at a much lower quality hotel. Missing items on buffet. Cut my foot on door leaving hotel room and desk staff only had one antiseptic wipe in their first aid kit. Did not even ask me to complete a report.

Easy walking distance to all the nearby shops, restaurants and breweries. The free breakfast was amazing, they served homemade waffles, a variety of breakfast sandwiches and breakfast bowls and plenty more. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and had plenty of space. Great experience

Large rooms with comfortable beds. Hot water for showers was sporadic. Breakfast bar needs a big upgrade. We ate within the first 30 minutes of being open and the food was cold. So disappointing.
