Loved the beach and pool. The newly renovated rooms are nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They're in the middle of renovating what I assume is the main restaurant. The other 3 available food options are lacking. Good for kids with Chicken fingers and burgers, but they all basically offer the same sandwiches and salads so you have to drive to get anything decent.

We liked beach on property. Staff was very friendly! Disliked that you had to pay for parking and sometimes had to wait for a spot to open up. Also had to pay a daily fee of 50.00 for?? Waiting for that refund to hit my account.

The indoor pool and hot tub were not open during our stay which was a huge bummer They also didn’t have enough chairs and umbrellas for the beach - about 50 people kept going up to the beach staff looking for chairs & she kept staying her colleague was coming with more chairs which never happened-

This was a really nice family resort! Wasn’t too crowded, bartender was fantastic and they had great events for the kids. Movie night, magic show, etc. outdoor pool was great and the beaches clean! Would definitely stay again. Our room was nice and comfy. The bathroom could have been better, tub cleaned better but I find that mostly everywhere I go.

There was construction on property for restaurant and indoor pool/jacuzzi so we could not access. Otherwise great location, nice room, lovely beach with easy access. Quick and easy check in / out process. A lot of nearby food options. We plan on returning.

The resort had so many amenities and food options. The pools were wonderful and the beach was so clean. It was great having beach chairs and umbrellas easily available. The two resorts (red jacket and blue water) are right next to each other and it is very easy to walk between. The town has all of the normal necessities (grocery stores, Dunkin Donuts, liquor stores, CVS), as well as fun activities and amazing restaurants. We would definitely come here again. We arrived at 8 am and check in wasn’t until 4 pm, but we were able to use the pools and hang out on the property all day. There was activities on premises for kids and families, which is awesome.

We had a great ocean view room!! Definitely not a fan of "Pet Friendly" though. The thought of an animal's dander everywhere is far from appealing. Pet dander stays for months, regardless of HEPA air filters or purifiers. The rooms were definitely "beach sand" considered in the designing phase for the non carpeted multi-colored flooring in the rooms. One might say its a good thing. Upon changing into my beach attire I walked the floor barefooted, it was cold and I felt sand from previous occupants - We had just checked. Other than that it was a fun stay, the beach is beautiful. We had pizza in the restaurant and it was great!!

Room service entered room even with a do not disturb sign. Very hard to call any kind of room service. Outdoor pool at blue water resort wasn’t fully clean. Four beaches made very poor tasting drinks, my wife and I got the four beaches so called best seller and was not very tasteful. Bartender over poured a lot.

The only good experience was the beach-it's beautiful! Our reception was terrible being an Expedia customer - just given our room key and charged an additional $25.00 per day parking fee. Given a resort map with our building noted, and another with the Resort's amenities The facility overall is needing updating and repairs.. Our room had a leaking toilet - seal was broken.. water collected on the floor. AC was extremely loud - reported the toilet issue and no one wanted to address. It became an ordeal to have reception understand! Maintenance finally came to the front desk, and I had to walk him up to the room to show what was happening and he agreed could not fix issue in short time. Asked of an alternate room an told they were full up. Asked for refund and the woman was not sure how to address being an Expedia booking-finally after I became loud and more vocal at the front desk, a manager came forward and gave us another room. The room was better, but we had no room cleaning service and going to the front desk to inquire was of no help! I finally stopped a staff cleaning woman on our floor, and she pleaded she was not responsible for our end of the hall for room service, but after I pushed for help, she did go and find who was and they finally cleaned the room - our check out was the next morning. The hallway and staircase had a gas odor every morning and dissipated by late afternoon of note the indoor pool and restaurant on lower level This property is understaffed!

Cute hotel, great beach, happy staff! Just a thought....if it's off season/weekday stay, don't put 2nd floor guests above 1st floor guests when there are LOTS of rooms to choose from. Being woken up daily around 6am(ish) by loud walking back and forth and water running (on/off repeatedly) made us sad.

My stay at the blue water lasted a total of two hours. What was supposed to be an anniversary trip turned into an immediate disappointment. The room situation was untenable due to excessive noise bleeding through the walls and ceilings. The ocean view was blocked by a hedge. The overall room was average at best. Attempts to remedy the situation with staff were not acceptable. Staff seemed very leaderless. I was not the only guest with a disappointing room situation either. Two other guests were complaining about accommodations at the same time I was. One was literally put in an underground room with a supposed ocean view. I proceeded to check out with of resort under the impression, speaking with staff, that I would be charged for one days stay. I was agreeable since these were the terms of the reservation. As of today the resort is still holding on to my full fee. The excuse from staff is I didn’t call Expedia fast enough. I have filed a claim through Expedia and gained no ground with the Blue water resort. The silence and inaction of the management of the blue water is what I find most disappointing in the establishment. What they are advertising and what they are delivering is very different. I would think twice about staying at this establishment.

I loved the resort. The beach, the pools, the outdoor bar were great. We had a great time but our room #189 was terrible. Old and outdated with peeling wallpaper. Also their website makes it sound like they have more dining options than they really do.

Overall we liked Blue Water, but our stay began with a rough start. The cabin we were assigned was musty, and we found mold on bedroom A/C unit. The staff moved us to a different unit, which was nicer and larger, and reasonably comfortable. The main problem was the wifi barely worked, so we had to hot spot off our iPhones. Those things aside, we liked the beach access. It's not a huge beach, but enough for a decent walk. We loved the deck chairs looking over the beach, a great place to hang out and read a book. The poolside bar had a short menu, and they were out of half the items, LOL, but we survived. If nothing else, the Blue Water location is excellent -- close to the Hyannis ferries and not far from all the Cape Cod towns you'd want to visit. There is also a wonderful seafood joint about half a mile down the beach road (Skipper's?). Amazing food and great service -- we ate there three evenings. Bottom line: we *might* stay at Blue Water again if we're back to Cape Cod, but visitors should expect the place to be rustic, not high end.

The resort needs TLC. Outdated. Rooms have no hair dryer. No microwave. The bed sheets are TOO SMALL for the beds… they come off each day through out the night! Limited on site dining. Upon check-in we were not even told that the 1 on site tavern/restaurant/cafe was closed for renovations?! Not 1 mention?? The beach was great. Beach staff wonderful. Availability of umbrellas and chairs acceptable. Rooms need updates and so does resort….

We loved our stay at the Blue Water Resort and will definitely return someday hopefully. Coming the week after Labor Day was the right call and it was quiet on property and the surrounding areas. We were in room 411 which was awesome with a full kitchen and view right to the beach. The only issue we had was being able to hear the people in the room above us walking back-and-forth constantly. It seems like there isn’t much buffer between the floors so next time we will definitely request a top floor.

We loved our stay at the Blue Water Resort and will definitely return someday hopefully. Coming the week after Labor Day was the right call and it was quiet on property and the surrounding areas. We were told breakfast began at 6:30. When we got there we were told they were not accepting individual orders until 8:30, that the restaurant was dedicated to large tour groups. We decided to go out to a restaurant instead. Also, we got a wake up call at 5:30 am that we did not request.

For the money paid, I expect more. I realize it was 'off season' but only by a few days. Staff should still greet you immediately and warmly and make you feel welcomed. I did not feel welcomed. My room was mediocre at best. Lights were very dim, I had to keep my blind down at all times due to foot traffic past my window. It was like a cave. Jonas Den is a basement level restaurant with extremely poor service, although the food is fantastic. They close earlier than posted making people feel unwelcomed and rushed. I personally, will spend my money elsewhere.

First, on top of paying a premium at this "resort," they also charge you $25 a day to park your car there, which is apparently buried somewhere in the fine print when you make the reservation (I couldn't find it anywhere in my reservation and was surprised when I received a text the day before we arrived notifying me of this). I could understand this fee if there were enough activities within walking distance or they provided transportation to places, but this is not an all-inclusive resort. Second, all the staff is always on their phone. When we went down to the beach, I actually had to get someone's attention because all three attendants were on their phone. And, surprisingly, when I texted staff for something I needed (a couple of extra pillows), my text was ignored and I had to go to the front desk. When I got to the front desk, the two people there told me I could have just texted and when I informed them that I did, they found my text and I was answered with "oh." You would also think that for $500+ a night and because they claim to be a resort, you would get standard room service every day, but no, you have to request it. When I found this out, I requested it the 2nd day we were there, but they didnt do it until the 3rd day, so we slept in sandy sheets for 2 nights (it is also impossible to not get sand all over here as the floors are tile and they dont come in and vacuum every day).

The hotel staff is extremely pleasant. Not accommodating for any early check-in though which is pretty disappointing because all hotels we have ever stayed always accommodate an early check-in. Housekeeping puts around, in absolutely no rush to bring you clean towels even after calling the front desk twice within 3 hours. Rooms are unimpressive- water marks all over the walls and the bathroom is small and extremely outdated. Don’t get a bedbug vibe but the room should definitely be cleaner. There was dust in our bathroom (a place you ALWAYS want clean) and there were left over bags from a previous guest in our room. Housekeeping could improve BIG time. Beach “view” room is exactly that.. a simple view. Paying for parking is absolutely bogus with what they charge for a room per night, especially when they don’t have enough soace and the hotel has you park across the street. Charge for a second car maybe because of your lack of parking, but not for one car and not per night! The beach is really nice though they could do a better job of cleaning it. We walked down to the beach in the morning and we opened our beach chairs to old, wet towels from the day before and a bunch of trash (empty bottles, drink cups with straws, and empty plastic bags). Lots of seaweed on this beach as well. All in all, this hotel is a 2.5 out of 5

We visited the resort in October which is off season for them. It was very quiet and comfortable. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful and courteous. We will definitely return next year.

The only good experience was the beach-it's beautiful! Our reception was terrible being an Expedia customer - just given our room key and charged an additional $25.00 per day parking fee. Given a resort map with our building noted, and another with the Resort's amenities The facility overall is needing updating and repairs.. Our room had a leaking toilet - seal was broken.. water collected on the floor. AC was extremely loud - reported the toilet issue and no one wanted to address. It became an ordeal to have reception understand! Maintenance finally came to the front desk, and I had to walk him up to the room to show what was happening and he agreed could not fix issue in short time. Asked of an alternate room an told they were full up. Asked for refund and the woman was not sure how to address being an Expedia booking-finally after I became loud and more vocal at the front desk, a manager came forward and gave us another room. The room was better, but we had no room cleaning service and going to the front desk to inquire was of no help! I finally stopped a staff cleaning woman on our floor, and she pleaded she was not responsible for our end of the hall for room service, but after I pushed for help, she did go and find who was and they finally cleaned the room - our check out was the next morning. The hallway and staircase had a gas odor every morning and dissipated by late afternoon of note the indoor pool and restaurant on lower level This property is understaffed!

If traveling throughout Cape Cod this place has the most ideal location. Even if staying close to the resort, the private beach is fantastic and there are good restaurants for breakfast lunch or dinner all within 10 minutes away.

Overall we liked Blue Water, but our stay began with a rough start. The cabin we were assigned was musty, and we found mold on bedroom A/C unit. The staff moved us to a different unit, which was nicer and larger, and reasonably comfortable. The main problem was the wifi barely worked, so we had to hot spot off our iPhones. Those things aside, we liked the beach access. It's not a huge beach, but enough for a decent walk. We loved the deck chairs looking over the beach, a great place to hang out and read a book. The poolside bar had a short menu, and they were out of half the items, LOL, but we survived. If nothing else, the Blue Water location is excellent -- close to the Hyannis ferries and not far from all the Cape Cod towns you'd want to visit. There is also a wonderful seafood joint about half a mile down the beach road (Skipper's?). Amazing food and great service -- we ate there three evenings. Bottom line: we *might* stay at Blue Water again if we're back to Cape Cod, but visitors should expect the place to be rustic, not high end.

Enjoyed the pool, food at the poolside bar was excellent, access to the beach, hot tub and exceptional friendliness of staff. Little disappointed the continental breakfast was minimal and no non dairy creamer for coffee.

It’s getting too expensive for the average family. I paid 20% gratuity on two bottled sprite and a donut. Never made my bed and the oool bar used to be open later. Now it closes at 8pm that’s crazy.. big resort fees and little entertainment

Loved the beach and pool. The newly renovated rooms are nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They're in the middle of renovating what I assume is the main restaurant. The other 3 available food options are lacking. Good for kids with Chicken fingers and burgers, but they all basically offer the same sandwiches and salads so you have to drive to get anything decent.

Upon arrival, the bathroom sink needed to be unclogged, the windows had no locks. We were on the ground floor. We requested 2 pieces of wood be placed to prevent the windows from being opened from the outside. Maintenance promptly took care of these issues. The beach was gorgeous with plenty of lounge chairs. The outside pool was beautiful as well. Very attentive staff, plenty of nice bath towels, comfy bed, nice sheets. The grounds were lovely and well landscaped. Beach bar was awesome. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Blue Water!
