Wonderful rooms and excellent service with generous breakfast The staff did their best to make sure we had all we needed and some The only inconvenience was the traffic near the hotel as the train station is just around the corner and construction line crazy Finally the parking is quite expensive if you are travelling with the car be aware

This property was perfect for us staying 1 night in Munich. We flew in from the US arrived around 8am, left our bags with the friendly hotel staff, walked to a cafe and had amazing coffee and pastries, walked a bit further to the old city area which is full of shopping, food, old buildings including the old city hall on Marienplatz with the mechanical clock "glockenspiel" show twice per day, and several churches and the public market area where we tried herring salad and a lovely bottle of Stellenbosch Shiraz Rose at Nordsee Seafood (friendly staff), then we headed back to the Drei Lowen as we were told our rooms would be ready by noon, and they were! After a perfect shower and nap which was easy because the hotel is very quiet and the blackout curtains work wonders as well as the Air Conditioning, we walked to the old city area again for dinner at the classic Augustiner Stammhaus restaurant. Chef's Kiss for the delicious foods we ordered along with an Augustiner Weissbier... yum! After walking back to the hotel, we had a drink in the adorable bar and lounge area before getting a great night's sleep. As with most old cities, there is much construction happening everywhere. The street on which the Drei Lowen is located is no exception. We did not hear it and were not bother by it at all. The local streets are not the cleanest but we felt safe in the area. We were able to walk about 4 minutes from the hotel to catch a train to Regensburg which was a lovely ride.

Struttura a 10 minuti dal centro, vicino alla fermata della metro e dei tram e alla stazione ferroviaria. Struttura ben pulita e curata, personale molto gentile e cortese (ci hanno addirittura custodito i bagagli fino al pomeriggio tardi, nonostante il check out fatto alla mattina). Stanza ben insonorizzata e accogliente. Colazione abbondante e varia ma con poca scelta dolce.

En general muy bien, la zona está muy bien comunicada, al lado del U-Bahn y S-Bahn y estación de trenes y muy cerca de tram, a 15 minutos a pie del centro. Por la noche es poco agradable si vas sola, por ser zona de prostíbulos y gente diversa, pero no tuve sensación de peligro. Habitación insonorizada y aire acondicionado perfecto. La habitación y el baño de tamaño adecuados. Cama cómoda. Personal muy amable excepto el chico que me entregó la maleta que había dejado para que me guardaran, el domingo 8-9-24 entre las 16h y 17 horas, que se burló de mi dificultad con el idioma, muy impertinente.

muito proximo a uma das saidas da estação principal de trem (Hauptbanhof); e em frente a uma das agencias de cambio com melhor taxa da cidade (rekoda); ideal para quem chega de trem, com recepção 24 h; vale a pena pegar a tarifa com café da manha, que é farto e saboroso; banheiros renovados com chuveiro forte e ventilação externa/ natural e box de vidro; so nao tem chaleira no quarto; se tivesse ganhava nota 10; o restaurante so serve o cafe da manha, mas tem varias opções proximas - inclusive na estação de trem ; acesso direto ao aeroporto pelo sbahn S8 que funciona inclusive de madrugada

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einer tollen Lobby. Gute Hotel mittags kostenlosen Kaffee und Gebäck und einem sehr schönen Zimmer. Sehr praktisch fand ich, dass man im Franziskaner (Innenstadt ) durch das Hotel 25 % Rabatt auf die Rechnung erhält, was ich genutzt habe. Direkt eine Straße weiter gibt es einen öffentliches Parkhaus?

This was a pretty simple hotel. No real amenities aside from a bar and restaurant. The front desk told us there was breakfast but failed to tell us there was a fee- we only found out at checkout.

The lobby was always clean. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious. Room was clean when I arrived but housekeeping only occasionally refilled toilet paper and clean towels. The room was never cleaned or vacuumed the whole two weeks. It was occasionally loud with doors slamming. Hotel is very close to transportation. Easy to get around from hotel. Hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. They do have a breakfast area that serves food. It's not worth the money. The lady who cleans and helps with coffee machine very helpful and nice. The man making the eggs is very rude. The eggs are not that good for the attitude he gives. Honestly the price, location and front desk help makes this a good hotel. Would stay again based on this

Zentrale Lage, gut erreichbar, Parkhäuser nur 1 Straße weiter, sauberes und ordentliches Hotel, große Dusche, Laufweite zum Oktoberfest

Location was good for getting to the hauptbahnhof. We did find a bug in the bathroom, I will spare you the variety 😬 but to be expected in an old building, maybe pest control was due soon. Like most big cities, around the train station is a little less desirable and shady characters but didn’t feel unsafe just a bit wary. The breakfast was great. Bed was very hard in a couple of the rooms we stayed as we had 3 rooms booked for family. Price was good.

I was disappointed with my stay. I am really surprised at the hotel’s four star rating. On a positive, the bed was comfortable. Staff on check-in not welcoming, staff when checking out were okay. Staff on collection of luggage later in the day, again quite unfriendly, also made me locate the luggage room myself and didn’t even check that that the number on my receipt matched that on the bag. How secure is their left luggage room? A previous guest had half eaten a pack of M&Ms from the mini bar. I brought this to the attention of reception evening staff and was told to come back in the morning. In the morning the reception staff simply fixed the pack with a staple (Photo attached) and gave it back to me to return to the mini bar! The toilet smelt of stale urine and had dried urine splatters on the underside of the toilet seat. The shower head desperately needs a deep clean or replacing. There was no kettle, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The television is in the corridor between the bedroom and toilet. So the tv cannot be seen from the bed. But. as I said, the bed was comfortable and I did sleep well.

Saw a mouse in the breakfast room in the evening. There are a lot of building works around the hotel at the moment which is not enhancing the hotel experience.

Spacious room which was about the only good thing. There was black mould in the bathroom, which as we all know is a serious health risk. The rooms were not sound proof, could hear every footstep above and noise from outside. Also the thermostat was not user friendly. Would not stay again.

Had air conditioning but it didn’t really work so the room was always hot. In a strange block that I wouldn’t recommend. An employee knocked three times on our door at 8:45 in the morning but not sure what he needed. Close to the train station was a plus. They wouldn’t let us check in too early but would hold our luggage.

Pro : near to train station, clean room Cons : poor wifi, air condition auto shutdown every 3hour, old elevator, not friendly staff at check in counter , noisy from outside construction, small room , no amenities in bathroom

Zimmer war sehr modern und auch Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung (inkl Omlettstation). Allerdings ist der Rest des Hotels etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmertüren knallen laut zu, dass an einen erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken ist. Am besten Oropax mitnehmen, dann ist es empfehlenswert

The standard of the room wasn’t great - heating didn’t work, standing in the shower wasn’t easy due to the shape of the bathtub and sloping roof, general condition of the room was basic.

Room was comfortable & bathroom was spacious.

At check-in I was given a bad room which showed a lack of attention to requests prior to arrival. I had to request a change late at night. To my delight I was granted permission and received another very good room. Thank you.

Staff was very helpful. I confused travel dates and the staff worked to fix it.

They put us in a smaller room than what we booked and paid for, refused to honor breakfast where it was clearly included when we booked it on Expedia. The staff was so rude he refused to communicate with us. All he said was Expedia must had made a mistake, then he refused to communicate further. The hotel is closed to two strip clubs, stay away.

We had a sick person who needed to get to their room and the front desk took no account and required 15 minutes for check-in process. Then accused us of having three people in our room instead of two, because a friend helped us get the sick person to their room. When I asked what time I should arrange a cab for my morning flight, this same person told me he could estimate that until he knew the traffic the morning of my flight. Then he explained I had to schedule the cab a day in advance. What a difficult person!

Had an unusual issue with our door not shutting all the way but they fixed it immediately! Gentleman at the front desk was very prompt and took our concerns very seriously even though he was busy with the hotel being sold out. Lots of good food, shopping, transport, and sights just a short walk away.

Hotel was good. A lot of construction was going on on the street and between the hotel and the station.

The property is well located nearby the main rail station. However, a building construction next door is very noisy early in the morning. Along the street there are some very seedy cafes and night clubs. The room we had was large and well appointed. Breakfast was very good.

No complementary bottled water provided. Bottled water was €5. The breakfast provided was good with hot and cold options provided. Staff were friendly and helpful (I needed someone to look at the TV in my room). Definitely recommend the hotel to anyone on a short visit to Munich.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was excellent. The biggest down side is the location. There is heavy construction at the end of the block and our driver could not let us off in front. A little sketchy at night. Once you walk around all the contruction, the hotel was very near Karlzplatz and the Hop-on-Hop-off start.

EXCELLENT HOTEL. WE GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 10:35 PM. WE WENT OUT TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING TO EAT. THE PEOPLE WHO WE SAW OUTSIDE WERE MOSTLY DRUNK AND DANGEROUS. DURING THE DAYTIME THE QUALITY OF PEOPLE CHANGED AND IT WAS NOT THE SAME PEOPLE AS WE SAW AT NIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL. DURING THE DAYTIME, IT WAS GREAT TO ROAM AROUND THE CENTER OF MUNICH AND VERY SAFE.

The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast, a cook makes custom omelettes for you which I thought was a great touch, plenty of options, decent breakfast. Down point- no kettle or tea coffee facilities in rooms. Also hallways are very poorly maintained, need to be re carpeted and painted. Good location, but AC shuts off after 2 hours?
