I was surprised that my Kasa stay worked so well. The phone number was almost always answered by a person who was well trained and had all the information on our contact and common to date. They are also great with text communication. Special note: The instructions need to be read thoroughly before you arrive otherwise things will get very confusing very fast. If you speak to the front desk at the 2nd street austin location for parking instructions before you park the front desk gives very different instructions to park that will be very expensive. Read and follow Kasa instructions on parking and register your car in advance. The electric car chargers are operated through an App called Loop. You have to register with the App or it won’t work. Once you register the charger worked . It’s a slow charge so my empty battery took 8 hours to fill to 75% overnight and cost $15. I want to especially thank their team and their cleaning team for their thorough ness and integrity and honesty. I left a valuable piece of jewelry on the desk in my bedroom and I called immediately when I realized it. They found it and helped me get it back within a few days . I am so grateful to their customer service team especially Marizon for helping me. You should know that the door to the unit does not automatically lock after you enter and depart so make sure you check your door when leaving it does not lock like a normal hotel. When you are in the unit by yourself you need to lock yourself.

Not cute, at all, kind of like staying in a warehouse - sparse and uncomfortable furnishings that were clearly on discount - concrete floors and all. But, great location, felt safe, very clean and amenities were great (we used the pool and gym). Bed in 2nd room was reportedly extremely uncomfortable but main bedroom mattress was memory foam and nice. Texting with “front desk” worked well during business hours but after hours you got AI and it was not helpful at all with info about the property or surrounding area. Rug on floor was a huge trip hazard (curling up on corner), asked for someone to fix, and although promised, never happened in 3 night stay. And of course, as mentioned by multiple reviewers, the process to check in and park (although very clearly explained) is a huge pain. But I was prepared for that because of the reviews. Overall it was fine, 3 points for cleanliness, age and safety of building but would not choose to stay again.

Our Kasa stay in Austin was an overall good experience. Our unit had everything that we would need for our weekend stay. The kitchen was equipped with all of the basics so we could cook a meal during our visit. The location is great with many dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. Our balcony was also enjoyable for morning coffee or just getting some fresh air. The building itself is a bit complicated to get into, but the Kasa company was extremely good with communication before and during our stay.

Excellent, modern and comfortable place with breathtaking views. Very good for the price! The location is absolutely amazing. Very close to the Congress st bridge. Walking distance to everything. The check-in process is confusing and there are too many steps. Give us bullet points with the important stuff. Its overwhelming The elevators at this property are horrendous. 15 min just to come back up to the room where I left something behind

Arrived at the unit which wasn't cleaned or tidied up in any way. Had to contact customer service via a phone call and messages. Although quite responsive, resolution took a long time. Luckily I had some plans and was out while they were able to come up with the plan, but overall was very dissatisfied with the condition and service. Also property is right next to the construction sight so constant noise is present during day morning - no need for alarm I guess. No black out shades in any of the rooms. Only reason I didn't mark it as terrible is the customer service reps being polite and able to resolve issues.

We were on the 16th floor with a great view of the water and Austin downtown skyline. It was a virtual check-in, but the steps received for the check-in were very clear and easy to use. Apartment was very clean, well decorated, and had everything you'd need.

The location boasts stunning views, but the interior feels quite industrial and lacks warmth. Unfortunately, there was no manual provided to guide us on operating appliances or turning off the fan. Additionally, the cleanliness left much to be desired, with hair found in areas where it shouldn't be. Accessing the room from the elevator was challenging, as the codes frequently malfunctioned, and even when we managed to reach our floor, getting into our room was often a struggle.

Our Kasa unit was worn - floors & couches looked dirty with stains. The kitchen had roaches and was minimally furnished ( for example, 2 mugs for 6 people). The bathroom shower liners were moldy and didn't have enough towels (we had to call and request). The air-conditioning wasn't working and had to be serviced with air filter replaced. The only saving grace was that the beds & bedding was clean and the location was vibrant. It was our first time with Kara, I think we'll stick to a hotel next time.

The property, unit & view were all fine, as you can see in the photos. After the miserable check-in process (instructions too tedious - like programing an 90's DVR), we were not provided our required parking pass. Because of the layered problems in accessing the correct parking area, accessing the correct building entrance, locating the correct access code for the specific control panel, then to find we did not have the required parking pass - well not worth the trouble. I thought it was me until I found another visiting couple with the same issues and angst. The housekeeping staff were actually quite pleasant & responsive, and especially the parking gate attendant Ms Zuri who provided us with in-person assistance - something truly lacking and why next time I will book a room with a front-desk, and a person with whom I can speak. We received no compensation. We were made to check in not til 4:00PM, unless we wanted to pay an excessive "early" fee, metered for each hour in advance of 4:00PM (hotels do not do this, nor have such late check-in times), then as "compensation", offered a late check-out time (we had an 07:30 flight out). Our pantry had a dirty dog's harness & poop bags, dirty towel in the bath. I travel a lot for work and this was a departure. If you're still compelled to book - study well the instructions, but consider booking a property with more flexibility, more responsive service and fewer mazes to run. Who wants this after a long travel day?

Not sure what the VIP access included? The property was highly secure, which actually made some aspects "challenging"! Entry/exiting the building, elevator and parking were all by card. The room itself was VERY basic but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Had a cool view since the den area is all windows. Received a notice/text message on Saturday night at 10:30 while in the room playing a board game, for noise disturbance??!! Yet I was awakened around 2 am to people laughing and talking.

The view was much nicer than expected. I really liked the high ceilings - it made the space feel a lot bigger. It was awesome to have a full kitchen, even though I didn't use it this time. The pool area was very nice as well. The room was clean but looked a bit tired in some areas. And while the parking instructions were incredibly detailed and were the only reason I was able to navigate it, it would still be nice to have an easier and more simple way to get in and out of the property.

Our stay went perfectly. The apartment was very nice, stocked with everything and some extras. We had one question which was answered via a text almost instantly even though it was late in the evening. The 'check-in' process might seem daunting but just read it through and it works perfectly. I certainly recommend Kasa 2nd Street.

The place is amazing and clean. I could live there. Only trouble is when you need to communicate with management. You can only do it by text/email and it took 2 days to fix a keycard not working right.

The two bed two bath condo was spacious and clean. We had an issue which the team responded to immediately and updated us when it was repaired. I have never had better communication with a host company, 5 stars for them!

The apartment is beautiful & spacious; comfortable bed & nice linens. Their check in instructions need improvement along with if you're parking in the garage. Also, their 24/7 virtual front desk is NOT 24/7. Here's hoping they improve these issues as I noticed that I'm not the only one giving them this feedback.

Everything is virtual here and it is a little confusing, however, their text and phone communication is excellent. The apartment had a great view, very clean and safe, bedding very comfortable. Location could not be better.

We really enjoyed Kasa 2nd Street! The location in downtown is ideal. The apartment was well appointed. It was a really safe building, with layers of protection. I found the virtual front desk super responsive the one time I had a question. There was construction noise from the building next door, but not at night! I highly recommend Kasa 2nd street for an Austin stay!

Do not book with KASA. They left me stranded with no check in information. They canceled my booking an hour after my check in time. Couldn't even stay there. Too many third parties involved here.

I was surprised that my Kasa stay worked so well. The phone number was almost always answered by a person who was well trained and had all the information on our contact and common to date. They are also great with text communication. Special note: The instructions need to be read thoroughly before you arrive otherwise things will get very confusing very fast. If you speak to the front desk at the 2nd street austin location for parking instructions before you park the front desk gives very different instructions to park that will be very expensive. Read and follow Kasa instructions on parking and register your car in advance. The electric car chargers are operated through an App called Loop. You have to register with the App or it won’t work. Once you register the charger worked . It’s a slow charge so my empty battery took 8 hours to fill to 75% overnight and cost $15. I want to especially thank their team and their cleaning team for their thorough ness and integrity and honesty. I left a valuable piece of jewelry on the desk in my bedroom and I called immediately when I realized it. They found it and helped me get it back within a few days . I am so grateful to their customer service team especially Marizon for helping me. You should know that the door to the unit does not automatically lock after you enter and depart so make sure you check your door when leaving it does not lock like a normal hotel. When you are in the unit by yourself you need to lock yourself.

Not cute, at all, kind of like staying in a warehouse - sparse and uncomfortable furnishings that were clearly on discount - concrete floors and all. But, great location, felt safe, very clean and amenities were great (we used the pool and gym). Bed in 2nd room was reportedly extremely uncomfortable but main bedroom mattress was memory foam and nice. Texting with “front desk” worked well during business hours but after hours you got AI and it was not helpful at all with info about the property or surrounding area. Rug on floor was a huge trip hazard (curling up on corner), asked for someone to fix, and although promised, never happened in 3 night stay. And of course, as mentioned by multiple reviewers, the process to check in and park (although very clearly explained) is a huge pain. But I was prepared for that because of the reviews. Overall it was fine, 3 points for cleanliness, age and safety of building but would not choose to stay again.

Great location in downtown Austin near ACL Live at the Moody Theatre and just a few blocks walk to Antone’s Blue Club. Spacious apartment with a full kitchen and the unit I stayed in had a balcony.

The card system had a learning curve but worked once the old dog learned new tricks. The location is walkable but the non River view has a huge construction project “The Republic” on third Abe across the street so weekdays were not that quiet.

The location was fantastic! Close to many restaurants and shops. The amenities at this facility are very nice. We had everything we needed in our room. The balcony was used often to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. Our host greeted us with some welcome treats and gifts for a milestone we were celebrating. This was very much appreciated. It is a little bit of a puzzle to park and check in. If you follow the detailed instructions, you should be okay.

This hotel is near Colorado river, which means its a good place to take a walk and enjoy nature. I loved the safe neighborhood and easy parking. If you want to feel the charm of Austin, I'd like to recommand this hotel!

We love this hotel/condo. We've been staying here several times and it never dissappoints. It is located right in downtown Austin, close to to all the activities, restaurants, and nightlife! We've stayed here since back when it was owned by The Guild. Kasa does a great job of keeping this amazing place available for guests!

Kasa is the only way to go. Exceptionally clean and you get sooooo much space. Full fridge and stove - super comfy bed and great couch. It’s a home away from home. All the residents there and the front desk staff - super nice. You are safe there - so many safety precautions in place. You have to card to get in, card for the elevator, even card to get in from parking car. Tk you!

A great place to stay for 5 days in Austin. Needs a few more utensils for cooking but overall it was clean and easy to use. Location also was great for walking around downtown.

Great location with amazing staff at the front desk. Quiet, balcony was nice and unit spacious. Had to request some additional kitchen items which were promptly supplied. The unit itself was very clean but furniture and cabinets are worn. Linens needed replacing which was done immediately and a plumber was required which took a few days. Building was responsive and

The apartment was spacious and very clean. I would have liked cleaner linens (specifically towels), and we could have used a dish towel in the kitchen but ultimately it was no big deal. Kasa is a perfect location as there are so many things to do nearby. It is also easy to get anywhere else in the city - it’s a quick ride to UT, SoCo, Capitol, etc. We would highly recommend Kasa to anyone staying in Austin.
