Glyfada Beach Hotel

grand lit .bon matelas . personnel très sympathique et souriant . bruits de pieds de meubles le matin . étant très sensible je mets des boules en cire dans les oreilles . baignoire avec vitre étroite pour se doucher . petit-déjeuner à l'intérieur ou en terrasse.

Literie correct, salle de bain un peu trop petite et vétuste, voisins bruyants. Personnel serviable et agréable.

Très bon sejour, chambre agréable avec balcon vue sur mer. Petit dejeuner copieux. Bon service. 10%sur addition au restau bord de plage. Véhicule indispensable pour visiter d autres plages

Hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean, bed linen and towels changed daily. Staff were pleasant and very helpful, we arrived late and the kitchen was closed but the nightshift receptionist made us toasties which was most welcome. The breakfast was a buffet style self service and there was plenty to choose from. The beach was literally a stones throw from the hotel door and you could drift off to sleep listening to the sound of the crashing waves. You will need transport to get around, the nearest town is Pelekas which is about 5 kms away, as the location is quite remote which is ideal if you want tranquility as there is no through traffic or disco noise. Taxis can be expensive as they have to come from Corfu Town. The road down to the hotel is quite steep so bring trainers or boots if you're wanting to walk up to the main drag. A bus runs 3 times a day from Glyfada to Corfu town passing Aqualand on route. You can get buses from The Corfu Town Green bus terminal to the airport and other locations on the island, check the Green Buses Corfu website for details. Bring a mosquito repellent plug-in thing.
