Ikaros Hotel

Hotellet var moderne og leiligheten hadde høy standard. Vi bodde i en leilighet med to soverom og leiligheten var stor og luftig. Alle som jobbet der var hyggelige, profesjonelle og vennlige. Koselig frokost utendørs. Det var en liten velkomstgave på rommet da vi kom med litt snacks og drikke. Det satte vi pris på. Vi bor her gjerne igjen.

Ideally placed (5 min walk from a beautiful beach and various restaurants) and 10 min car ride from Hania center). Very friendly and helpful people. The room is contemporary, clean, well-equipped and cleanup is made everyday. The hotel has parking spots. Breakfast is on point and prepared poolside by a very polite and friendly lady. Also, we really liked the hotel and room’s aesthetics. We had a great time at Ikaros and would book again with pleasure in the future !

We stayed for four nights and overall, the hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was very spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. A special mention must go to Maria at the reception, who was absolutely wonderful, very kind, helpful and always willing to assist us. The gentleman at the reception was also very friendly and helpful. The reception staff really made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major disappointment. Breakfast was included in the price we paid for our four-night stay. We paid a fairly substantial amount for those four nights, so we naturally expected the breakfast to be something. Sadly, it was quite the opposite. The lady responsible for the breakfast area seemed completely overwhelmed and communication was very difficult. The hot food was repeatedly cold,omelettes and eggs, products were often finished and not replenished. The coffee was extremely weak and watery. Plates and teaspoons were dirty, tables were not properly cleaned and the whole breakfast area was often in a very unpleasant and untidy condition.The situation was so disappointing that we actually had to go to restaurants elsewhere and buy breakfast ourselves, despite having already paid for breakfast as part of our hotel stay.Instead of starting our mornings peacefully with a nice and enjoyable breakfast, we left the breakfast area frustrated and disappointed every day. Breakfast prep was extremely noisy at 5 a.m., repeatedly waking us up.More staff and better training.

The property was excellent. It was very clean, and a large and versatile space for my entire family. The property was located in a very good spot away from congestion but a quick walk or drive from anything we needed. The staff is excellent, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. They went above and beyond what was necessary to make my family feel welcome and our stay entirely enjoyable. I would return to the hotel on a subsequent trip and recommend it highly to anyone considering it.

Really spacious room, plenty of space to relax during our stay. Just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect. Excellent hospitality throughout, staff were attentive and welcoming. Overall a great stay, would happily return.
