Aminess Liburna Hotel

This hotel is in a great location with welcoming staff and a great breakfast. It is easily walkable from the ferry, rather than walking thru streets take the walkway around the waterfront for an easier short walk. The pool and beach are really nice with shade if you want a break from the sun.

Everything was good, nice modern hotel and good breakfast. Great location by the sea and only 10 minute walk to the town. Our only complaint is that there was not enough sun-beds by the pool. A lot of people were hogging beds and leaving their towels on the sunbeds for hours without using them. The hotel need to implement a system to stop this. We would stay again!

Well located close to old town, on the water. Pebble beach next door. Google maps directions are just a bit wonky, but you can see the hotel when the directions dead-end into another defunct hotel, so you are not lost.

Hôtel situé à 10 mn à pieds du port où accostent les catamarans ( TPLine) et non les ferries. Personnel accueillant. Jolie piscine et accès à la mer. Chambre propre et bien équipée avec vue sur la baie. Petit-déjeuner varié. Dîner buffet compris dans le prix de la chambre de bon rapport qualité prix. A 5 mn de la gare routière avec bus pour Lumbarda et sa plage de sable de Vela Przina ( sans oursins !!!)

We loved this place. Booked a two story suite which gives you more space. Staff were super nice and helpful. 6 stars! Easy to walk to the old town. Stunning views. Lots of dining choices. Beach in front (pebbles as everywhere in Croatia). The only small improvement we would make is to turn the pool into a sweet water pool. But you can go next door to the Marco Polo sister hotel. Also, the two hotels should fix up the vacant buildings in between.

One of worst hotels I’ve stayed in over 40 countries especially for €300/night. This is not a hotel but basically a motel with a nice view. Hotel layout is odd - have to go down stairs to go back up stairs to go back down to get to our room - no help with luggage at check in. Room had old shag carpet, duvet was stained, slow WiFi, cable tv only worked part of the time/not smart tv. Coffee in rooms was instant coffee. Curtains weren’t hung proper. Bathroom grout was moldy and tub/shower combo is so tall that if you had any mobility issues it’s hard to get in/out (I struggled even as a yogi), zero space for toiletries in bathroom and the soap dispenser would leak on counter making a mess after every use. Oddly housekeeping brought new towels and toilet roll each time but never took the dirty and left one sitting on a chair, so by end of 3 nights we had 7 towels in the room and 5 rolls of TP. For 2 days dirty dishes were piled up in one of foyer with broom and cart just sitting there. Breakfast was Awful - undercooked eggs sitting at room temp, bad coffee. Pool closed early at 7 so no chance for a golden hour or after dinner dip. Odd that they charge for their chairs at the “beach”. Front desk staff seemed constantly overwhelmed. Only upside was the view from the balcony and the 10’ walk to the town; was quiet. You’re better off in an air bnb for €90 at this point,

This is a lovely modern hotel, built into a hillside, meaning that the outdoor dining area, in particular, benefits from a glorious view of Korcula Old Town and its harbour / bay. Breakfast is great, with a wide selection of options spread across several hot and cold buffet serving stations. We opted for half board, and the evening buffet was ok too, but would have been too expensive at the ‘pay on the day’ rate. As part of our room rate, though, it was cheap enough to still opt to eat in town when we wanted to. Rooms were clean, modern and air conditioned, with all amenities you could wish for. However, maintenance standards could have been higher with, for example, a towel rack pulling away from the wall in our room, and two curtains missing a number of hooks). Also, it was impossible to get a sun bed by the pool during our visit, but partly due to selfish guests ‘bagging’ them, and then leaving them unattended. On balance, though, I would recommend this as a Korcula hotel

I regret to say this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. • Cleanliness: The bathroom was unacceptable — feces smeared on the wall and cobwebs hanging all over the room. The bed sheets and bath towels were stained and so worn out they should have been thrown away long ago. • Facilities: The pool was a health hazard. The bottom was slimy, clearly not cleaned or maintained properly. It felt unsafe and unhygienic to even go near it. • Condition: The entire property is rundown and neglected. Everything from the furniture to the fixtures feels unkept and poorly maintained. • Service: Staff showed little interest in addressing complaints or providing basic hospitality. Service was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall: This hotel is in desperate need of deep cleaning, refurbishment, and better management. I would strongly recommend avoiding it until significant improvements are made.

Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Close to the old town. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

The positives: lobby and bar area are very nice. Breakfast buffet has a nice variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a nice sea view from the rooms. It is a short walk to the old town. The negatives: we booked a top-tier room and, while spacious, it was grubby and worn. The carpets were old and dirty; the towels were threadbare, rough, and small; the one pillow per person was lumpy and uncomfortable; the towel warmer in the bathroom was broken; and the room lacked even the most basic amenities — there were no toiletries, no iron, no coffee maker, no tissues. The pillows were old and lumpy and the toilet paper was like sand paper. We had to ask housekeeping staff to clean our room and give us fresh towels after the third day. It is impossible to shower without getting water everywhere due to the shower set up. I would not recommend this hotel, especially as compared to the other accommodations we had in Croatia. The hotel appears to have been built in the 1980s and last updated then. The rooms and amenities need a major refresh.

L'accueil par Mme Suzanna était froid et plutôt condescendant, ça a mal débuté notre séjour. Nous avions l'impression de déranger. C'est dommage car sa collègue Mme Daniela était très gentille. Nous recommandons cet hôtel mais il ne faut pas avoir des attentes trop élevées.

This hotel was significantly worse than the pictures would lead you to believe. It had potential, but there were too many issues to overlook. We got the room upgraded for comfort beds, and only one of the two double mattresses was actually softer, and only barely. The regular mattress was basically just a piece of fabric right over the springs underneath and quite hard. The carpet seemed dirty and after cleaning up, I looked under the bed to find a disgusting unknown food item. The furniture was dusty. The towel rack was falling off the wall and overall the bathroom just made no sense. The tub was too high off the ground and felt precarious climbing in and out. The shampoo was locked in a slot next to the sink while the hand and body wash, which was the same tube for some reason, was locked into a slot in the shower. You have to open the shower door to access the soap next to the sink while showering, which was just a bizarre configuration. We ran out of soap on the last day and had to ask for more, but that required the cleaning staff to enter the room and unlock the soap at a time in the morning where we really wanted more privacy. Breakfast was ok, but not great and your money is better off being spent at any number of the places along the walk to old town. They ran out of towels one of the two times we asked and didnt have drinkable tap water for most of our stay. Overall, quite disappointing and shocking to see this listed as a 4 star hotel.

What a wonderful hotel! We were welcomed with an upgrade to a suite facing the sea and delighted that breakfast was included. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was great and everything was super clean. The view towards Old Town Korcula is amazing and the hotel is walkable from old town and the ferry terminal (although it goes a bit up so better to pack light!). The staff is super friendly and we were able to leave our luggage after check-out until our ferry departure time.

Starting with the positives, the location is beautiful and convenient to walk to town. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. That’s where the positives end. The room had a terrible smell, like a mix of years of cigarette smoke mixed with damp and mold, probably coming from the carpet. The balcony we paid extra for had a terrible view of a parking lot and garage. The wifi was terrible and didn’t work on the balcony, the restaurant or the pool deck. The food was edible but not much above that.

Location was very nice and great views from the balcony and patios. Hotel is showing it age and needs some improvements. Our beds were bad, felt like sleeping in a hammock is sunk so much. Towels were well used. Patio loungers were stained. Hopefully they do some upgrades in the off season

Having arrived at the end of season, I was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade from a standard room to a superior room with a sea view. The breakfast buffet included in the room price was a generous spread. My overall rating is only four stars as it service was let down by a few infuriating matters - reception could not provide pool towels only elderly bath towels (with holes), and the room service team failed to give any time to answer before barging in at 8.00am while I was still in the bathroom!

This hotel was fantastic! We were very impressed by the staff and their helpfulness. They upgraded our room and it had a stunning view out over the water and plenty of space. The checkin was quick and easy. The food offered had many options for everyone and the wait staff was also very friendly. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the water and also chill by the pool. On the day we checked out, the hotel offered to hold our bags while we went on an excursion and they let us shower/get ready before heading on to our next destination. We would definitely come back to this hotel, thank you for a great stay.

Great view and excellent staff.

The Aminess hotel we had a reservation for had a hot water issue so when we arrived they directed us to another hotel that was further away from downtown Korcula by about 15 mins - which was ok. The facilities at the hotel were very nice. We were provided with a buffet breakfast and dinner each night which was unexpected. They really tied to make up for the uncontrollable water issue they had at the other hotel and made us feel comfortable.

Came here with my wife on our Honeymoon and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. It was a very easy walk to Old Town with lots of great restaurants along the way. Lots of great spots along the hotel property to take a swim. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located across the harbour from the city and guests are required to walk along a concrete walk that passes by a large abandon building which appears to have been some sort of beach club. Windows are broken garbage is every where and most of the interior furnishing left to rot. Further along there is remnents of other businesses. It's gruby and not a comfortable walk at night.

This hotel is about a 15 min walk to old town, it has beautiful views of the harbour and walls. The rooms are a bit worn, but the view from our balcony was spectacular. Breakfast was decent, had many choices. If your looking for some quiet beach time, this is perfect.

We really appreciated the hard work and friendly faces who cooked and served breakfast for us every morning!!! The selection was excellent and the quality was wonderful! If we ever find ourselves in Korcula again we would not hesitate to stay here. We loved our room and really appreciated the breakfast. Comfortable and clean with good breakfast and wonderful swimming off the rocks. Location suited us perfectly and front office staff were excellent - especially Anastasia who was extremely friendly and helpful. Two minor issues - we didn’t like the fake orange juice at breakfast or the fact that cappuccino from the coffee machine is sweetened.

Great location with fantastic view from our balcony. We were half board and found main course buffet choices on our first night inedible - meat and fish very dry and vegetables cold. Offerings on the other two evenings were slightly better but I would suggest eating elsewhere.
