Esta acomodação não tem o clima e as características de um hotel. Se parece com o aluguel de um quarto em uma propriedade. Não tem recepção (apenas um minúsculo cantinho em que, durante o dia, fica um funcionário), não tem alguém pra ajudar a carregar a bagagem, não tem café da manhã nem serviço de quarto. Porém tem limpeza e arrumação diária. A localização é excelente, pois fica entre o centrão turístico e uma parte mais nova, com restaurantes e bares bacanas. Os funcionários são cordiais e simpáticos. O quarto é espaçoso, principalmente por causa do pé-direito bem alto, e até bem silencioso. A limpeza não é algo que chame atenção, nem positiva nem negativamente.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Good internet access & tv channels. Slightly out of the city centre but excellent transport links via tram & bus just 5 minutes walk away. Can get bus to/from airport with stop just 5 minutes away too. Lots of good restaurants & bars nearby. Close to museum quarter too - 10 minutes walk. Hotel is small - 15 rooms. No food options or communal spaces and reception only staffed 09:00-19:00. But staff are very helpful & friendly and there is air-conditioning which was important for our stay in July. The building is an old canal house so don't be put off by small hallways and entrance.

Conveniently located hotel which is great for getting around, most of the tourist highlights are close by (museums etc). There are steps up into the front desk area, bear this in mind if you have heavy luggage. There is a lift to get to the rooms on the upper floors. My room was very small, as was the bathroom. For a single traveler this was fine. The bed was extremely soft, not my personal preference, and just a thin piece of foam for a mattress. There is almost no insulation on the window and this allows street noise in at night. If you are a light sleeper this may be bothersome. My room was equipped with a coffee machine and fridge which was great. The hotel supplies water, coffee pods and a few sodas. A nice perk. If you are looking for a no frills hotel to rest your head then this is a good choice.

Sebastian at the reception was very caring and tried his best to solve our problems. People in the same situation should be aware of this, but we are very grateful to him. We came by car. There is a street parking system near the hotel, but it is quite expensive. Sebastian looked up a cheaper parking option for us. It was about 10 minutes away from the hotel by public transport, but he kindly explained in detail how to get back. There are a few steps at the entrance of the hotel, and the room we booked had no elevator, so we had to use the stairs. It was hard with a baby, a stroller, and two suitcases. However, Sebastian helped us every time, and he even checked with their sister hotel to see if there was a room with an elevator available. Firstly this is not a hotel if you are looking to spend lots of time in your room and get some room service. There is not room service available and the rooms are cramped. If you are just looking for a comfortable bed and a nice warm shower to unwind after a day of exploring the city, this fits the bill perfect. Location is hard to beat right in the canal and about a 10 minute walk from the rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Also easy access to multiple tram stations to get around other parts of the city. Staff are great in providing any support needed and do their best to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

the bed was good to sleep in. the room was small but I expectd that. the towels were good but the bathrrom and the room had a lot of mould. the shower curtain was filthy. i guess cleanlinessnis jot a priority. I understand there is humidity but there are ways to clean better. really felt i could jot touch shower or walls or windows. The staff were amazing though, which was very positive. overall ok but would not stay again

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance of most sites in Amsterdam at the same time as being quite and peaceful. The view of the canal from our room was beautiful. At first glance, the room seemed clean, although the appearance of the lobby and hallways suggested the opposite. Unfortunately there is a serious mold problem in this hotel. The wall closest to the window was wet and growing large patches of fuzzy mold. Behind the bathroom mirror was black with mold. The bathroom ceiling was dripping. When we raised these issues, we were told they would clean the moldy wall next to our bed. We asked for this not to be done during our stay because we didn't want the spores to be spread all over the room. When we returned to the hotel that evening, the mold had been "cleaned", with no sign of bleach or cleaning products. My guess is they just brushed it off to remove visible traces, spreading mold spores all over the room. They assured us they covered the bed while they did this, but that's not much imo. I am writing this detailed review because I'm not confident that the hotel will undertake the significant work needed to treat the mold and prevent it from coming back, and it could affect guests health.

This place deserves a 6, not an 8.6. Hallway carpet was really old and smelly on all floors. Floor in room was old looking and seemed dirty. Small entry to hotel with stairs and no lobby to speak of. Sewer smell in the bathroom. Bed was a futon on a soft box spring - not normal. I had a small room that should have been a single but they stuffed a double in it sideways and I had to crawl over my wife to get in and out. Every time. This is not a hotel, it’s a guesthouse and needs updating very badly.

It is a great location and our room was lovely. However, the cleaning of said room was greatly lacking. Our room didn’t get cleaned for days and even when it did it was almost at the end of the day when we wanted to rest. Our espresso cups never got cleaned/changed. Trash sat for over 1.5 days. It seemed like an afterthought and it put a damper on the stay for sure.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! This hotel ruined my girlfriend's birthday trip to Amsterdam. We didnt sleep at all due to being able to hear everything that was happening in neighbours rooms. People walking upstairs made so much noise. The road was also very noisy.... and for the state of the room - absolutely terrible. Dirty. Blood stain on the pillow and the bathroom ceiling was falling apart... tried to be reasonable but the manager offered no sympathy whatsoever and i had to chase for weeks to get a response. TERRIBLE do not use them!!!!

Exterior of property does not look good. Graffiti on walls and the balcony view of the canal consisted mostly of trash cans overflowing with garbage. But I could see the canal… Broken toilet in bathroom, stains on carpeting and scratches requiring touchup paint, and baseboards look dirty. Cigarette burn hole and water stains on upholstery. On the positive side, the hotel manager was very nice and apologetic about the bathroom issue. Good location, but look elsewhere. There are better properties near the museums.

Die Lage war super, das Zimmer, die Einrichtung völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal war super freundlich. Leider war das Zimmer nicht richtig sauer gemacht vor dem Einzug, es lag noch ein benutztes Handtuch im Badezimmer, es war noch Wasser in der Kaffeemaschine, das ist sehr unangenehm, man fühlt sich dann leider nicht so wohl.
Die Lage war super, das Zimmer, die Einrichtung völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal war super freundlich. The good bits - excellent location (10 mins walk to museums, 5 mins to Leidseplein, 10 mins to 9 streets), really helpful/friendly staff, decent sized room, comfy bed. The not so good bits - felt more like a chain than a boutique hotel - nothing particularly special about the room so felt expensive at €200 a night. Booked a deluxe room but didn’t feel very deluxe (cheap toilet paper/towels, small bathroom). Room was unbearably warm when sunny outside and AC didn’t work/had a dehumidifier in the room.

We had a great stay for the most part, other than the tiny bathroom, our main issue was the fact that the AC wasn't working. And sleeping with the windows open didn't really help, plus all the outside noise was let in, and they like to party in Amsterdam. Front desk guy was amazing though, and the sandwich shop and Italian restaurant across the street were delicious.

We spent a night here and we loved it. First, the room was huge and had a balcony with a view of the canal. Nice large king size bed, Fantastic shower with waterfall head and eco friendly soaps. The host is amazing and very friendly. The next best part of the hotel is the location, it's in a quite area but so close to train and bus stations that you can get anywhere in the city within 10-15 minutes on the tram. There are a few local restaurants and bars on the same street as the hotel or you can take less than a 5 minute walk and you have tons of options and a very lively area with people around late into the night. The hotel had a cozy vibe, free mini bar and was a great example of a canal house. I really have no complaints about our stay, everything was perfect and we will stay here again when in Amsterdam.

Conveniently located hotel which is great for getting around, most of the tourist highlights are close by (museums etc). There are steps up into the front desk area, bear this in mind if you have heavy luggage. There is a lift to get to the rooms on the upper floors. My room was very small, as was the bathroom. For a single traveler this was fine. The bed was extremely soft, not my personal preference, and just a thin piece of foam for a mattress. There is almost no insulation on the window and this allows street noise in at night. If you are a light sleeper this may be bothersome. My room was equipped with a coffee machine and fridge which was great. The hotel supplies water, coffee pods and a few sodas. A nice perk. If you are looking for a no frills hotel to rest your head then this is a good choice.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond. Very easy to get to shopping district and the GVB tram (72hr pass is worth it). The sandwich shop nearby is AMAZING. My recommendation is splurging on a larger room, as the small canal view room is better suited for one person. All and all, great hotel, but just expect friendly staff and a place to sleep.

Sebastian at the reception was very caring and tried his best to solve our problems. People in the same situation should be aware of this, but we are very grateful to him. We came by car. There is a street parking system near the hotel, but it is quite expensive. Sebastian looked up a cheaper parking option for us. It was about 10 minutes away from the hotel by public transport, but he kindly explained in detail how to get back. There are a few steps at the entrance of the hotel, and the room we booked had no elevator, so we had to use the stairs. It was hard with a baby, a stroller, and two suitcases. However, Sebastian helped us every time, and he even checked with their sister hotel to see if there was a room with an elevator available. The reception staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. The small single room suited my stay and had everything I needed. I found the bed very comfortable - even with my bad back! The only minor issue was that the room got quite dusty and needed a vacuum as I was there for a week but it didn’t appear to get done.

This hotel was an excellent find. It is close to the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark, and several good dining options are available nearby. Be prepared to be surprised by the steep front stairs, the small front door, the tiny front desk, and the narrow hallways, but they are all part of the hotel's old style charm. What matters most is that the rooms are well-sized and clean, the service attentive, the price fair, and the bed comfortable.

We had a great stay for the most part, other than the tiny bathroom, our main issue was the fact that the AC wasn't working. And sleeping with the windows open didn't really help, plus all the outside noise was let in, and they like to party in Amsterdam. Front desk guy was amazing though, and the sandwich shop and Italian restaurant across the street were delicious.

We spent a night here and we loved it. First, the room was huge and had a balcony with a view of the canal. Nice large king size bed, Fantastic shower with waterfall head and eco friendly soaps. The host is amazing and very friendly. The next best part of the hotel is the location, it's in a quite area but so close to train and bus stations that you can get anywhere in the city within 10-15 minutes on the tram. There are a few local restaurants and bars on the same street as the hotel or you can take less than a 5 minute walk and you have tons of options and a very lively area with people around late into the night. The hotel had a cozy vibe, free mini bar and was a great example of a canal house. I really have no complaints about our stay, everything was perfect and we will stay here again when in Amsterdam.

Firstly this is not a hotel if you are looking to spend lots of time in your room and get some room service. There is not room service available and the rooms are cramped. If you are just looking for a comfortable bed and a nice warm shower to unwind after a day of exploring the city, this fits the bill perfect. Location is hard to beat right in the canal and about a 10 minute walk from the rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Also easy access to multiple tram stations to get around other parts of the city. Staff are great in providing any support needed and do their best to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal location, “city view” was not such a view. The bathroom smelled like old hot garbage. Not sure if it was the shower or something in the wall or what it was but it was very unpleasant for the duration of our stay. Tried keeping the bathroom window open and the bathroom door closed but it permeated throughout the room

It was a terrible experience. I’ve been to hotels in the world at least more than 50 times this year.. We paid a lot for the stay in comparing to the cheap hotels and expect to have a nice experience here, but except the location, unfortunately, everything was terrible. The air conditioner was Brocken, and the first day at the reception they told us that the room will be changed for the second night, but then they said it was fully booked, then they said they are confident to make the room cooled with a mobile air conditioner which was really loud and not much better .. basically it was just terrible warm(even the corridor were cooler..). But that’s fine, we survived during the cooling night. Then the bed was super bad, it’s just out of the condition, they should change it immediately, it’s not flat, my back felt super bad after two nights. AND the room was just not clean. Everywhere you can see Ants. We have some packt chocolate, fruits from the city and next day was full of ants so we need to through everything away. So, be careful here. I really don’t think it worth this price if they don’t make the condition of the room better.. terrible!
