The tents were amazing! We were there during a significant thunderstorm but were so cozy in our tent. No water or wind coming in. We turned on the fire to warm up a bit. The beds were very comfortable and it was a very peaceful sleep. The hot tubs needed a clean so we bypassed them. Breakfast was great and the staff were extremely accommodating with the children. The bathroom building for campers was great, new, clean and comfortable (also not too busy).

This is a great hidden gem. I arrived late but was able to do self checkin. When i arrived in the room, i thought it was a mistake as a had a huge living room with a small fridge, microwave, table to eat on with furniture to sit in front of a good size flat screen. I didnt have time to watch tv but there seemed to be a lot of channels. There was 2 bedrooms. 1 had a double or queen size bed while the other room had 2 queen size beds with lots a space and a excellent massage chair. The bathroom was nice size too located between the 2 bedrooms. Note: hot tubs are closed in low season (winter). Not sure when its open. The is a small walking trail for 1.5 km but didn't have time to try it. The owner is very nice and he made me scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon bits fresh. That plus a bagel and cream cheese was good to hit the road again. Dogs are welcome in all rooms. I love that i could park in front of my entrance which was separate entrance. There are multi small buildings on property with rooms so noise she be at low level for a great sleep. Beds and pillows very comfy too. No apparent dent in bed which makes me think these are new beds. My stay was in winter, not too could outside at approximately -1 degrees Celsius. The heat in all rooms were preset to 20 degrees Celsius which is rare to have so it was nice and toasty upon arrival. The heating works very well so be careful not to put too hot as it can get hot overnight if you like it cooler. Definitely recommend here

Staff was friendly, the grounds were nice. However I found the noise from the near by hiway distrubung at night when your in a tent. The complimentary breakfast needed filling when we got there in the morning. we didn't bother to wait. The hottub was not up to par, howver I think the owners were noticed as they were tending to it in the morning.

The glamping experience was definitely a positive one after tent camping for several days. The canine greeting crew was exceptional, and the staff were really friendly and helpful, offering up suggestions of local eateries. The tent was clean and the heating instructions were very simple. We enjoyed our hour in the hot tub and it was easy to book. The bathhouse with four separate full baths was also appreciated. I’m not a huge breakfast eater, and there was enough to satisfy me.

The property is very beautiful. There were things missing from the room but were provided quickly when asked for. The little things make a differenct to a weary traveler and the new owners were happy to recieve the feedback. Breakfast was very limited and did not take gluten/dairy free diets into consideration. It was beautiful to relax in the outside hot tub. I would book again as it was such a beautiful setting and a welcome change from highway driving. Thank you

Friendly and helpful staff with a nice hot breakfast. Romantic setting with an Inn, various guest houses and glamping tents. Some of the tents are a small walk from a general parking area, which we didn't know until we arrived. The glamping tents are large and very comfortable with electricity and a really cool pellet stove. Very comfortable beds. Hot tubs were neat but my wife found there were a few too many mosquitos.

Lovely property on a rural road by a waterfall. Our cottage was quiet, private, and comfortable, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast served by friendly staff. There is a walking trail through the woods and a meadow on the property.

We had a great time here. It was 20 minutes away from Saint Andrews, a nice coastal village, and the hotel itself had a comfy room, nice hot tubs (hot tub 1 we liked the best), fire pits with wood provided. We would come here again!

This was a great stay. There was a tiny housekeeping issue when we first arrived but they made steps to rectify immediately. The person at the front office is a complete sweetheart and provides excellent customer service. The property is stunning and facilities great. A few of the bathrooms for glamping were low on handsoap but otherwise spacious and clean. The breakfast casserole we had was excellent and the selection of bagels, yogurt, fruits, and cereal was great. Also if you get the chance, outside of glamping 8 tent (where we stayed) we saw hundreds of fire flies out. It was incredible. Beautiful and serene spot

The Chalet was very clean and spacious. We had the pet friendly chalet and we liked it very much. Communication before we arrived was fairly quick when I had questions and our key was placed in prominent location with clear instructions on location of cabin and info for the area, as we arrived after hours. Continental breakfast was available in the morning and check out was very quick. Nice quiet place.definitely book again if in the area.

This was a diamond in the rough. Very clean and comfortable room. Check-in was a breeze. Pet friendly which is a huge plus for us. Very nice breakfast. Owners are very personable and helpful. 5 Stars all around.

Overall a decent experience. Some attention should be focused on a few items relating to #10 tent/area. Broken step leading to tent; very dim lighting on pathway to tent; barely perceptible heat from mattress heating pad set on high; leaky faucet inside portable washroom next to tent. At group washroom: shower on far right had difficult temp control ( either too hot or cold); another unit lacked soap at sink and the towel dispenser malfunctioned. Needing to walk to outdoor locker for extra bedding was inconvenient. The breakfast offered was much more than expected and the woman in charge of the breakfast/kitchen was very helpful and kind.

What a beautiful setting for this boutique hotel. It is up a road and among trees, landscaped for outdoor seating to enjoy the setting, and Grace, the golden retriever, greats guests with a tail wag. We were in the Curtis room in the Manor House and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable, there was a sitting area with a TV, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Michael, the owner, and Glenna, his assistant, made us feel so welcomed and gave so much information about the area and what to see and do. The room was spotless. The included breakfast was also very tasty. What a find and we would definitely stay here again.

Une expérience de glamping intéressante, moi qui n’est pas très adepte de camping !! J’ai apprécié le confort de la tente. Les lits sont merveilleusement confortables et chauffants !! Oh my goodness, this cottage was amazing. It was massive - the pictures don't do it justice! The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were superior and the location was great. It's a little out of the way but not so much that it's inconvenient. I would stay here again and again.

The staff are very nice, welcoming, kind and hard-working. The property is pretty clean and well-managed. But some things disappointed us, including no Wifi at glamping, unlike what they advertise, no communication when the hot tub wasn't ready when we went at the booked time, absolutely nothing near the property, and overwhelmingly many mosquitoes around the facilities.

This was a great stay. There was a tiny housekeeping issue when we first arrived but they made steps to rectify immediately. The person at the front office is a complete sweetheart and provides excellent customer service. The property is stunning and facilities great. A few of the bathrooms for glamping were low on handsoap but otherwise spacious and clean. The breakfast casserole we had was excellent and the selection of bagels, yogurt, fruits, and cereal was great. Also if you get the chance, outside of glamping 8 tent (where we stayed) we saw hundreds of fire flies out. It was incredible. Beautiful and serene spot

This is a great hidden gem. I arrived late but was able to do self checkin. When i arrived in the room, i thought it was a mistake as a had a huge living room with a small fridge, microwave, table to eat on with furniture to sit in front of a good size flat screen. I didnt have time to watch tv but there seemed to be a lot of channels. There was 2 bedrooms. 1 had a double or queen size bed while the other room had 2 queen size beds with lots a space and a excellent massage chair. The bathroom was nice size too located between the 2 bedrooms. Note: hot tubs are closed in low season (winter). Not sure when its open. The is a small walking trail for 1.5 km but didn't have time to try it. The owner is very nice and he made me scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon bits fresh. That plus a bagel and cream cheese was good to hit the road again. Dogs are welcome in all rooms. I love that i could park in front of my entrance which was separate entrance. There are multi small buildings on property with rooms so noise she be at low level for a great sleep. Beds and pillows very comfy too. No apparent dent in bed which makes me think these are new beds. My stay was in winter, not too could outside at approximately -1 degrees Celsius. The heat in all rooms were preset to 20 degrees Celsius which is rare to have so it was nice and toasty upon arrival. The heating works very well so be careful not to put too hot as it can get hot overnight if you like it cooler. Definitely recommend here

What a beautiful setting for this boutique hotel. It is up a road and among trees, landscaped for outdoor seating to enjoy the setting, and Grace, the golden retriever, greats guests with a tail wag. We were in the Curtis room in the Manor House and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable, there was a sitting area with a TV, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Michael, the owner, and Glenna, his assistant, made us feel so welcomed and gave so much information about the area and what to see and do. The room was spotless. The included breakfast was also very tasty. What a find and we would definitely stay here again.

First of all, this is not a bad review, It’s just something you should know if you are considering staying here… We arrived just after dark which didn’t help. Our registration was left in a box on the front porch. It was a very short drive to move the car to the parking area for the tents. We were traveling with small and lg. suitcase and a couple of bags. As it was dark and this was in the forest it was extremely hard to see. They have some solar lights, but they don’t do a great job. You have to climb up a VERY very steep very rocky dirt road to get to the tents. I absolutely would not recommend this for elderly people or anybody with balance or physical issues. I was wearing regular tennis shoes. What was needed was probably hiking boots and a stick! We found our tent. The tents are supposed to have a pellet stove and heated mattress pad. Ours had neither plus there was a mouse in the tent. The tents are huge and decently furnished. I called the front desk and a very sweet man came about 10 minutes later on a quad. He said he had literally just bought the property a month before and was working out the bugs. He helped us move our stuff to another tent, which had a pellet stove which he did not know how to work. Between the three of us, we finally got it going. There was also an electric heater. On the front deck of the tents is a tinystandup tent with a portapotty. There is a washroom WAY down the hill. Again, this is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was fine.

This was a diamond in the rough. Very clean and comfortable room. Check-in was a breeze. Pet friendly which is a huge plus for us. Very nice breakfast. Owners are very personable and helpful. 5 Stars all around.

An absolute gem. Perfect place for a romantic get away. The property was hosting a wedding and it didn’t interfere or disrupt our privacy at all. The only thing that I wasn’t aware of at the time of booking was how remote it is. They do not have any restaurants within a 15-20 drive. They do however have a BBQ for guests to use, I’ll be better prepared next time because we will definitely be visiting again. We especially loved the out door hot tub, tucked away in a private setting. Don’t forget to ask about the history of the place, I was happily surprised and shocked to learn about the history. Very very pleased with the cabin, perfect atmosphere for romance and relaxation.

Had a glamping site tucked into the woods. Very cute. Had a tiny toilet tent with sink on the deck so we didn't have to walk the 600 yards to the bathroom at 4AM which was nice. They supply soap and TP, but you do need your own hair and body products. Luckily, we had some from previous hotel. The shower/bathroom area is very clean. Three individual units in one building. Had an excellent breakfast at the main house in the morning. The owner and waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. It is a 20 min drive into St. Andrew but right off the highway. If you want to be closer to harbor activities, you may want to stay in town. If you want easy access to the highway on the way home, it's a great spot. I would stay there again.

Dominion Hill is a very special place. The property is meticulously maintained and sits on a hill, well back from the road, with magnificent water views. The staff throughout is friendly and helpful, and customer service is clearly a top priority. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property. Perfectly located for me just north of the US/Canada border. Personable and hospitable owner who made special accommodations for my breakfast so that I could proceed to the border early. If I were going through the area, I would stop there just for its beauty and peacefulness. It's a lovely inn.

Beautiful family run place. Clean and well kept. Perfect for a stay in the area. We would definitely stay again. Breakfast was basic continental type (Mar 2025) - hard boiled eggs, toast, coffee, bagels, cold cereal, yogurt, bananas. Hot tub was clean and hot. Would definitely recommend this place.

The glamping experience was definitely a positive one after tent camping for several days. The canine greeting crew was exceptional, and the staff were really friendly and helpful, offering up suggestions of local eateries. The tent was clean and the heating instructions were very simple. We enjoyed our hour in the hot tub and it was easy to book. The bathhouse with four separate full baths was also appreciated. I’m not a huge breakfast eater, and there was enough to satisfy me.

The property is very beautiful. There were things missing from the room but were provided quickly when asked for. The little things make a differenct to a weary traveler and the new owners were happy to recieve the feedback. Breakfast was very limited and did not take gluten/dairy free diets into consideration. It was beautiful to relax in the outside hot tub. I would book again as it was such a beautiful setting and a welcome change from highway driving. Thank you

It would be so easy to make this a "great" experience instead of simply a place to stay. Yes we were there off season but the price is the same... A proper cooked breakfast instead of a chain hotel style bagels and muffins self serve - it was advertised as having hot breakfast options and on the 2 days when we could have breakfast in the dining room there were none. The other 2 days we received a "breakfast box" - day 1 this comprised 2 juice boxes and 4 small muffins with a small plate of sliced melon. Also - it would be simple to have a few logs available for the fire instead of being told to "buy wood at the gas station". There was no service in the cottage for the 4 nights we were there. The pipes "screech" badly when showering (no chance of anyone else sleeping!) and there is only 1 bathroom for the entire cottage. The properties are old and historic and the local environment lovely. But this was a disapponting choice.

We really loved our stay at Dominion Hill Country Inn. The staff were welcoming, the place was private, quiet, lots of windows showcasing their beautiful landscapes, a hot tub, and continental breakfast. The owner was around at breakfast time and we got to learn about the history behind the property. A truly beautiful place!!

The location and grounds of Dominion Hill are truly magical. Everyone we encountered was kind and courteous. Our glamping tent was clean and comfortable. We do wish there had been a water source or bottled waters and a fridge. Breakfast the next morning was amazing. Service was a bit uneven. We really wanted to try the hot tub but you have to reserve and unfortunately there were no openings for us. Overall, I would recommend staying at Dominion Hill.

Wonderful welcoming staff. Excellent clean accommodation (Coach House suite) Hot tubs available, including the option for private booked time. Excellent property for children and teens to run around on the grounds. Board games available in main building. Great for gatherings, did my teen's Birthday Party with friends as an afternoon and overnight adventure. Obviously you need an adult staying in the suite for supervision of minors. Nature setting with walking trails. Calm friendly dogs on property.

Dominion Hills is a unique experience, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. It is 20 minutes out of Saint Andrews, so an easy drive in to explore both the town and Minister’s Island. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the grounds are very pretty. I really appreciated booking the hot tub for my own private use for an hour-a welcome respite after a long drive and hike. The owner provided lots of suggestions for dinner options. None are within walking distance. I went to Rouxbarb which was excellent and with very friendly service. Recommend for those who want a quiet, unique experience.
