I want to love it, but there’s one thing that ruins it for me. We have stayed there 3 times. First time, loved the room, spacious and nice, staff friendly, but we left a day early because we were so miserable on the really uncomfortable bed. Tried again thinking maybe it was just that room. Nope, after the first night I went to office, complained and they moved us to another room. It was better, but not great. Tried one more time and even brought a memory foam bed topper, because we love everything else about hadley house. We barely slept, so uncomfortable, then used pull out couch snd with memory foam topper it was better than bed, but we both had sore backs and again left a day early. So I don’t think we will ever try again unless they got all new beds. I think they are as old as resort. So broken down and uncomfortable.

We had expected to use the paddleboards and my kids and I were really looking forward to this. When we checked in I asked about the process, the next morning I asked again and all I was told was to go down to the beach to get the paddleboards. So my kids and I were in our suits expecting to paddleboard, when I called and was told we had to check the weather first and fill out waivers. I totally understand the need for safety, but it would have been nice to have been told this when we first asked about paddleboarding, or the next morning, long before we were in our bathing suits and expecting to paddleboard. It would have made it much easier to manage everyone's expectations. In order to paddleboard, the wind had to be 10mph or less, the day we were there it was 14 mph. I wonder how often guests can even use this service due to the weather. Otherwise, breakfast was good. The room was not very clean, dust and dirt in the corners and we found a vape pen in one of the chairs. The pullout was gross, and we had to ask for linens rather than them already being in the room. The linens were clean. There is also no beach at all. I was thankful we only needed to stay for one night.
