Stay away from this place. The management and service are completely non-existent, and the stay was filled with frustration from start to finish. First of all, do not be fooled by the main pictures on the listing. While it looks like a proper, welcoming lodging in the photos, it is actually an inconvenient residential building where even entering and exiting is a nightmare. The check-in process was unacceptable. On the day of arrival, the host went completely silent. We were stranded outside late at night, struggling to open the front door, and only managed to get in after ringing the intercom for a long time. I thougt I had to sleep outside. Even the owner said "since this is a guest house, do not expect a hostability if a hotel.". You might know how terrible their service is. This property fails in every aspect of basic hospitality. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.

The staff was very rude and had a bad attitude toward guests. The room was not clean; I found hair everywhere, including on the bedsheets and pillows.

The location is excellent. Near Atocha station, Prado, parks. Food is plentiful. The staff was polite enough and gave good into to keys checkout etc. the room needed more deep cleaning and was rather warm. The shower was very tight with VERY limited ability to move about.
