Watersedge is a nice clean hotel. Breakfast is good, Staff friendly. Food in restaurant is good, but is often busy and so can be a bit noisy. There are three other eating places within yards and another Angelinos across the park which is excellent. The bus stop is within yards of the hotel so access is easy and the buses reasonably punctual. The bay is sandy and water clean, the area pleasant and not too busy. We have stayed at least three times now and will be booking again in the future.

Arrivée de nuit. Hôtel à 15 min de l'aéroport en taxi. Formalités rapides en anglais. Chambre spacieuse au 6e étage, propre, grand balcon avec vue remarquable sur la ville et la plage. Au niveau 0 restaurant avec accès direct sur la plage, très agréable le matin. A proximité des arrêts de bus et tous commerces.

Efffective and efficient are two words to describe the staff. Hotel next to beautiful beach and bus terminal for buses to Valetta and airport etc. Tickets 2euros 50 and valid for two hours. Breakfast on Level one, good choice and restaurant Level 0. Ate here most nights. Godd promenade walks and places of interest -depending on your stay. No hesitation recomending Water's Edge.

Lovely new beach-side elevator building. Room was clean, modern, with a balcony overlooking the water and the nearby container ships. The sandy beach is literally steps away. The room was quiet. Public bus transportation goes almost to the doorstep. Staff is very friendly. There is a ground-level restaurant which offers a 10% discount to people who have a room in the hotel.

Sicuramente il migliore in zona. Stanza ok, poco insonorizzata. Finestre chiudono poco e si sente il rumore del mare… e quello delle navi che scaricano. Se il visino di stanza tira la catena si sente. Colazione basic, però personale gentilissimo e pulizia ok. 3 stelle e vale per 3 stelle. Zone super tranquille

The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

C’est mon deuxième séjour au sein de cet hôtel et pour le prix très raisonnable je trouve cet hôtel vraiment très bien, j’y retournerai sans doute l’an prochain. Les arrêts de bus sont très proches. La chambre est spacieuse et propre , vue sur la mer imprenable, magnifique couché et levé de soleil. Petit déjeuner simple mais bon. Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Vraiment rien à dire en négatif. Hôtel très très bien.

Clean and tidy but very basic. Bed not that comfy. Overnight noise from the nearby container ships. It was very cheap so not bad for the price but the location is poor. it is probably a seventies hotel that has been done up a bit and if you need a cheap stat then it is an option

Water's Edge is a very comfortable hotel. We had a lovely big room with a great view. We arrived very late that evening but nothing was too much trouble with Reception. We received a warm welcome.

The staff were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They helped with early check-in. The breakfast was good (more selection would help with picky eaters). Rooms were very clean. It was very quiet. We had a great time.

Arrivée de nuit. Hôtel à 15 min de l'aéroport en taxi. Formalités rapides en anglais. Chambre spacieuse au 6e étage, propre, grand balcon avec vue remarquable sur la ville et la plage. Au niveau 0 restaurant avec accès direct sur la plage, très agréable le matin. A proximité des arrêts de bus et tous commerces.

Efffective and efficient are two words to describe the staff. Hotel next to beautiful beach and bus terminal for buses to Valetta and airport etc. Tickets 2euros 50 and valid for two hours. Breakfast on Level one, good choice and restaurant Level 0. Ate here most nights. Godd promenade walks and places of interest -depending on your stay. No hesitation recomending Water's Edge.

Right on the beach and a quick trip from the airport. Bed comfortable and pleasant hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for an overnight visit with several restaurants near by.

Great value, modern, right on the beach. Breakfast ok but a bit limited. Buses X4 and 82 take you to Valletta from right outside the hotel in under an hour.

Lovely new beach-side elevator building. Room was clean, modern, with a balcony overlooking the water and the nearby container ships. The sandy beach is literally steps away. The room was quiet. Public bus transportation goes almost to the doorstep. Staff is very friendly. There is a ground-level restaurant which offers a 10% discount to people who have a room in the hotel.

Short one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from my room. The location is superb, right on the beach, very clean room, comfy bed. Highly recommend this hotel in Birzebbuga.

Watersedge is a nice clean hotel. Breakfast is good, Staff friendly. Food in restaurant is good, but is often busy and so can be a bit noisy. There are three other eating places within yards and another Angelinos across the park which is excellent. The bus stop is within yards of the hotel so access is easy and the buses reasonably punctual. The bay is sandy and water clean, the area pleasant and not too busy. We have stayed at least three times now and will be booking again in the future.

Una notte passata in questa struttura. Piacevolmente sul mare vicino al porto commerciale. Personale molto cordiale e preparato. colazione ottima ed abbondante. Tutto OK

The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

C’est mon deuxième séjour au sein de cet hôtel et pour le prix très raisonnable je trouve cet hôtel vraiment très bien, j’y retournerai sans doute l’an prochain. Les arrêts de bus sont très proches. La chambre est spacieuse et propre , vue sur la mer imprenable, magnifique couché et levé de soleil. Petit déjeuner simple mais bon. Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Vraiment rien à dire en négatif. Hôtel très très bien.

Sicuramente il migliore in zona. Stanza ok, poco insonorizzata. Finestre chiudono poco e si sente il rumore del mare… e quello delle navi che scaricano. Se il visino di stanza tira la catena si sente. Colazione basic, però personale gentilissimo e pulizia ok. 3 stelle e vale per 3 stelle. Zone super tranquille

Room overall was ok, view was lovely with a glorious sunrise every morning. There were issues with some areas though. The black out lining on the curtains had large areas that were warn, so sunlight always streamed through. There was damage to the laminated surface below the room fridge, which was quite extensive. The handle for the shower control came off in your hand. Breakfast was tricky, I have a chocolate allergy and don’t eat cooked breakfasts/ processed meats. There were only 2 cereal options and all the pastries were mixed in together so chocolate was the main option whether croissants, muffins etc and as they were all touching each other, I struggled to find something to eat, even the yoghurts were mainly chocolate flavoured. The fruit was boring and unappealing, banana, apple or orange. The pancakes had been pre-made on the first morning but the dining room lady kindly went and warmed them up. She also put a couple of pistachio croissants on one side for the second morning, but no such luck for our 3rd day. Great beach location, including early morning swims with the fish in the bay. The restaurants nearby were uninspiring unless you want pizza, pasta or burgers every night, we had to travel for decent evening meals. Final word of warning if you’re staying there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, they have bingo on directly outside the hotel front, via a very loud microphone and speakers and it goes on until 11pm, not good for early flights home.
