I called before I reserved my room. We were doing some really strenuous lifting and felt the need for a hot tub soak. The website made it look like they had one by the pool. I called to confirm, was on the phone wth then for ten minutes to verify. Wren I arrived to check in, no hot tub except in a king suite. I needed 2 beds. She would not cancel and said I had to go through Expedia. Expedia said I had to go through the hotel. Grrrr!

The light didn’t work. The pool was closed after I called and they said it would be open. Pictures show a hot tub but there isn’t one. The floors in the room were sooooo disgustingly dirty. The shower handle was about to fall off. Not really a clean place.

This motel isn’t terrible, but I'll stay at the Foothill Motel next door next time, as it is obviously better maintained. The morning we left - a Wednesday, probably not the busiest of days - the motel literally had no water comingcfrom our pipes. No shower water, no sink water. We heard other people's showers going nearby. When the sound of other showers stopped, we tried again and got some very low water pressure. On Day 2 of our stay, we were excited to get back to the motel to use the pool after a hot day outside and it had a sign that said "absolutely no swimming." It was during pool hours.

I should have taken a picture of the swimming pool. It's nothing like the one listed. They used a wide angle lens and set out some nice pool furniture. The actual pool is in disrepair, has no pool recliners or tables, and has been closed for some time. The rooms were just okay. Staff was friendly. Don't stay here if you want a pool. Listings need to be updated when amenities haven't been available for some time.

This is a wonderful motel. Clean, comfortable, pet friendly with lovely grass areas for pets. We had the most beautiful view of the natural rocks out our front window, When we had family come for a visit, the staff brought extra chairs quickly. We had housekeeping every day, something that disappeared over the last few years. Very open spaces with plenty of parking.

I’ve never stayed in such a dirty place. My wife and I along with 3 kids. My sister had a room with 2 kids and it was the same. We had to go to target and buy sheets and pillow cases and travel pillows. We had to wash and sanitize the bathroom, floors throughout and even the walls in the sink area had what appears to be blood spots. The toilet was not cleaned and had feces all Around and inside. The towels did not look or smell clean. We were in a pinch due to being there last minute to attend a family funeral. Please stay away from this place. I’m not picky by any means but this place was pretty bad. Stay next door at the other hotel. Family stayed there and were please. The photos are only a few I decided to take. I would’ve left to another hotel only we didn’t have the funds for another hotel coming from AZ last minute was rough enough. We talked to the front desk and they assured it was cleaned and they had no other rooms to accommodate us. They said they could have the housekeeping come in the morning to clean it again. We refused and did it ourselves. In addition, it won’t let me upload my photos. Just stay away. The price is too go to be true!

Room was filthy, had brown/orange spots everywhere. The baseboards looked like they had never been cleaned before. The mini fridge didn’t work, the sink had drainage issues, the shower was either old or unclean.

Room i stayed in tv had no channels to watch, wallls where dirty and had holes in them . Bathroom was dirty and the bathtub was so dirty i choose not to shower and stand in the black stains on the shower floor. Staff were rude when i approached one of them and asked a question in regards to coffee . Based on the condition of the room i was placed in i will not return to this location.

The room stank soooo bad. I will never stay in another super 8 again. It smelled like someone had old urine and sweat. The sheets did not look fresh. I didn’t want to tough anything. It looked clean but the smell. I can’t get over. I’d rather stay the night in my car than sleep there. The staff was nice but it was late and they do the bare minimum.

After driving eight hours, I needed to go to sleep. First off, this place is lacking with maintenance. Judging by appearance, most repairs were done by untrained people. In my room, I had only one available plug for my use before having to unplug lights, fridge, micro. The do not disturb hanger was filthy/sticky. Walls were paper thin, drunks fighting on one side, other side began there amorous activities at 11pm, both finishing at 2am.

This is a nice place to stay the night. The room was clean and decently functional - good bed, microwave, mini fridge. The shower was wonderful. The shower did have a steady drip and the sink was a little slow to drain. The price is right and the front desk is friendly. I'm not looking for a spa experience; this motel worked for me.

Beds were comfortable! TV was horrible, sound was defective. Shower had no water pressure. Door lock would not work sometimes. Our original room hadn't been cleaned so they had to move us to another. Doors kept slamming well after midnight. Access to freeway was awesome. Beds were comfy. Coffee was pretty good.

Very friendly staff, big smiles! After driving 8 hours into town, all we wanted was sleep. I’ll tell you, as soon as our heads hit the pillow, we were out! I don’t know what that bed was made of but I had THE BEST sleep I have had in forever! Plus Wienerschnitzel is right next door!

The motel publishes itself as if breakfast is included in the price of the room. The "breakfast" consists of coffee, juice, granola bar and not much more. This is not a breakfast, and the motel should not mislead the visitors. Also, the A/C in the room was extremely noisty.

Check in didn't go well.Somebody else checked into the room under my name. So the hotel gave away my Mobility Accessible Room reservation, and I got stuck in a room that must have been in the process of repairs: main lightbulb burned out, bathroom doorknob falling off, bath vent cover hanging by a screw, and large waves(tripping hazard) on vinyl flooring. I somehow managed to get 6 hours of peaceful sleep despite all that disappointment.

Got to hotel 30 mins early for check in and was told we were too early for check in but could check in for “early check in fee”! 30 minutes. Got to room , no coffee maker (although advertised). Breakfast was sub- standard. Facility was in need of renovation. Price listed on your site was different then bill.

Reserved handicap room for two nights. Called on checking day to tell the hotel I would be late because of traffic. When we arrived, the clerk said they did not have a disabled room. The room I was given was not usable by me- no handicapped rails. My wife and sister complained to a manager and a room was suddenly available, The clerk lied to me. I will also be filing a complaint with the ADA.

We booked a wheelchair accessible room and that's what we initially got. Not a bad room if you enjoy bedbugs, but that's not my wife and my thing. They moved us to a non wheelchair accessible room for the night, you know until the person in the other accessible room checked out the next day. But the next day they didn't have another accessible room for us. So we found another hotel that did. I went down to the front desk and told them I was checking out and the guy said just put the key card in the box, I informed him I was checking out early and wanted to make sure it was done, he said leave the key card in the box so I did since I wasn't in the mood to argue. I just wanted out of there. Checked my credit card statement when I got home and wish I could say I was shocked to find they charged me for the original booking instead of the early checkout, but alas, I can't say that. I wasn't shocked to find out they didn't properly check me out of the hotel and they charged me for the originally planned number of nights.

There was a loud trash can right next to my window that woke me up at 5:15am. We just left after that because there is no breakfast just a "breakfast item." When I lifted my pillow to adjust it there was sand on the bed where I was supposed to lay my head. Definitely go somewhere else... Anywhere else!

"Breakfast Included" was gas station fare. TV did not work on day 2; desk clerk told me to "fix" it by moving a 200# credenza/ low-boy dresser, unplug, replug, move 200# dresser back. When I explained that I'm 80 years old with 4 ruptured discs in my back and a serious heart condition, he said "I'll be right there". He never showed up.

Check in and out was a breeze, staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel physical condition is a little rough around the edges and the bathroom was older but clean. My bed was very comfortable and had no issues sleeping. Overall the property was quiet ad convenient. The biggest issues with my room was a large crack running down the center of the room over the bed (Room 222) and the area directly over the bed was bowing. It rained the few nights before heavily and you can tell the exterior condition of this hotel suffers a bit from exposure to water and air because there were several areas of dry rot. Water was dripping from the roof onto stairwells making them slippery and onto the walkways to the room. Hotel should consider replacing some of the rotted wood and putting in rain gutters to prevent more damage and future costs. Not really anything in walking distance other than gas stations and a weinerschnitzel. Freeway access is very close and Starbucks is down the street.

Beds were comfortable! TV was horrible, sound was defective. Shower had no water pressure. Door lock would not work sometimes. Our original room hadn't been cleaned so they had to move us to another. Doors kept slamming well after midnight. Access to freeway was awesome. Beds were comfy. Coffee was pretty good.

Very nice older hotel. Comfortable bed and great housekeeping service. Obviously the hotel was high end in its prime. Excellent location & close to everything I needed. Will stay here again.

Great spot near Auburn for a very affordable price. We love that there are breakfast waffles, they are pet friendly, and on-site laundry!

Room was clean, bed sheets were clean and soft, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal with pkg oatmeal, granola bars and coffee. Building and facility needs some updating and repair.

Pros: Location is great - close to the freeway exit, nice landscaping. Room was spacious, clean, had a fridge a microwave Cons: wifi was very unstable, was going constantly on and off No napkins or soft tissues, only toilet paper Breakfast was OK, but no yogurts

In the category of budget hotels, the Super 8 in Auburn is a well kept, very convenient choice. Upon checking in, the woman in reception was friendly and helpful and made sure we got a nice, quiet room for our 3 day stay. The building is older, but the room was updated and comfortable. The bed was a quality bed and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. A simple breakfast was included with delicious coffee and waffles. The hotel is conveniently located close to the freeway, which is good for getting around. Again, this is a budget hotel not the Four Seasons, but I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the low price. I’d stay there again.

The advertisement pictures made it look like the view was woodsy, but it was just a small, zoo-like cluster of trees (like a small zoo exhibit for only one or two small animals) in the middle of an ordinary industrial area. There wasn't much knee room walking about the room and you had to stretch behind you to reach the toilet paper. The promised breakfast was an empty coffee pot with one brewing, tiny apples in a bowl, and cheap, small packaged sugary pastries. Friendly service and best deal in Auburn, but they could at least spruce up the breakfast.

The motel publishes itself as if breakfast is included in the price of the room. The "breakfast" consists of coffee, juice, granola bar and not much more. This is not a breakfast, and the motel should not mislead the visitors. Also, the A/C in the room was extremely noisty.

Great value for the money. The breakfast is all sugar and no substance but that there is an included breakfast is quite extraordinary for the price. Very nice people at the check in desk. A little run down and dated but again, for the price, it is so much better than places that charge twice as much. Would definitely return.

I have stayed at a few Wyndham hotels, and I am surprised they put their name on it. The client base/guests are not what I prefer, the room had an old Sony wall mount 30 inch. I was better off staying at the Motel 6 two doors down.

This place was nasty, we booked 3 rooms. They kept giving us other peoples rooms and they didn’t know what they were doing at the office. Then we got a room that smelled so bad, and even after cleaning our selves it was still horrible. We are still waiting on a refund because the lady in the front said she wouldn’t charge us. But we’ve yet to see that. Never again…..

Check in didn't go well.Somebody else checked into the room under my name. So the hotel gave away my Mobility Accessible Room reservation, and I got stuck in a room that must have been in the process of repairs: main lightbulb burned out, bathroom doorknob falling off, bath vent cover hanging by a screw, and large waves(tripping hazard) on vinyl flooring. I somehow managed to get 6 hours of peaceful sleep despite all that disappointment.
