This is a small, privately owned hotel and as such was very much like staying with friends. The hosts were fantastic, very helpful and generous. We lounged by the pool after checkout and had a great intro to our vacation by staying here. Highly recommend!

Sehr nettes Hotel, ruhig und gemütlich. Tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht. Super Pool und Jakuzi. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, sehr guter Service und ein gutes Frühstücksbuffee.

Veldig koselig og fint hotell. Et av de få hotellene i området med ordentlig bassengområde. Butikk og apotek like ved. Alletiders service, og god frokost med fantastisk Cappuccino. Det er et lite stykke å gå ned til sentrum, men basseng og stille netter var verdt det.

Dejligt og roligt ophold. Venlig og rar service. Morgenmaden er lidt småt, forvent ikke det store. God pool, fin til børn og voksne. Der er 20 min meget stejl gågang ned i byen, med mange trapper. Vi var afsted med klapvogn lidt bøvlet at kommer rundt i gaderne ind imellem.

Stunning views from the terrace and rooms, beautifully decorated common areas, wonderful pool in manicured grounds, comfortable clean rooms, great breakfast and extremely welcoming hosts!! Absolutely loved this hotel!! The location is perfect too, Villefranche is enchanting, Nice is right there, Eze and Monaco are easily accessible too! Highly recommend!!

Our host was amazing and super attentive with all our questions! Showed us the best spots to do everything and how to get around. Amazing hotel and the room is extremely clean as well as the pool. Breakfast is great, with a beautiful view as well. Highly recommend this hotel!

You can walk to the beach but through very winding road with a lot of steps to the town of Villefranche. Walking distance to a bakery and restaurants.not walking distance to Nice. Recommend this property for a perfect family trip stay or quiet relaxing time.

Location outside Nice on Moyenne Corniche in Villafrenche-sur-mer was desirable with beautiful elevated views of the harbor and Cap Ferrat peninsula. The property is well maintained and appointed with a refreshing pool and balconies for outside seating. And Charlotte, what an amazing hostess, so willing to please and educate on the area - she really extends herself to make sure your stay is delightful. Can't say enough about her.

Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was heartier than expected as we have gotten nothing but pastry and cereal in the other hotels we have visited. The view was gorgeous and the proprietors over the top helpful and gracious

Such a beautiful property and run by an amazing and personable couple! Had the room with a sea view king bed and twin bed and it was very large and clean and the view was unbeatable. The location is great the parking was a huge plus! The brasserie and bakery near the hotel are amazing as well.

The place is really nice. Everything is clean and the owners are very friendly. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is that breakfast was 18€ per person. Price was not visible and it wasn't worth that amount of money.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hôtel La Fiancée Du Pirate, it was hard to leave. Charlotte and Fabrice were incredible hosts, and we feel we gained two new friends during our stay. Our flight from the states to France was delayed over a full day, and when we finally arrived exhausted and hungry, Fabrice had fresh water waiting for us, and then he personally walked us to a local restaurant where we had the best pizza of our trip. We were treated to Chef Charlotte's made-to-order eggs every morning, they were a delicious way to start the day. Our hosts patiently took the time to help us navigate the local bus system, to make daily plans, and to find a good driving route when it was time for us to leave. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable for our family of four. As I said, it was hard to leave when our stay came to end, and we hope to visit again soon!

We really loved relaxing here on our last day in France. The owners were lovely. The hotel and pool were charming and it is just two blocks from a fantastic brasserie. Highly recommend.

I struggle to review this property as we did not have a great service experience. The female host is rude and not service oriented. Upon arrival and 2:50 PM, we tried to check-in after a long drive to get there, she informed us that we needed to come back as check-in was at 3:00 PM and our room was not ready. While I completely understand that we arrived 10 minutes early, she could have simply asked us to wait in the lobby or terrace for that time instead of turning us away. The lobby of the property is lovely with a terrace and bar area with a view. This is pretty much the only nice area of this tired property. The rooms are small and sparsely decorated. As a guest, you are not allowed to use this area unless you are purchasing drinks or food items from the host. She was extremely focused on money and purchasing everything from her. She hangs out in that area and talks about all of her "homemade goods" that are available for purchase. Breakfast, drinks and apparently some snacks. There is no menu for food items, so you really have no idea what is available. The second night we were there, we were extremely tired from touring all day and didn't want to eat out at a restaurant. We picked up a small pizza and went to sit on the terrace to eat it as there was a notice in our room to not eat any food in the rooms. She approached us and told us we couldn't eat there because she makes some "salads" for purchase. There was no menu or indication of this. She embarred us.

Gorgeous views, extremely clean, the owners make every effort to help and to make you have the best time, super kind and friendly. You can walk to the beach but through very winding road with a lot of steps to the town of Villefranche. Walking distance to a bakery and restaurants.not walking distance to Nice. Recommend this property for a perfect family trip stay or quiet relaxing time.

Location outside Nice on Moyenne Corniche in Villafrenche-sur-mer was desirable with beautiful elevated views of the harbor and Cap Ferrat peninsula. The property is well maintained and appointed with a refreshing pool and balconies for outside seating. And Charlotte, what an amazing hostess, so willing to please and educate on the area - she really extends herself to make sure your stay is delightful. Can't say enough about her.

Such a beautiful property and run by an amazing and personable couple! Had the room with a sea view king bed and twin bed and it was very large and clean and the view was unbeatable. The location is great the parking was a huge plus! The brasserie and bakery near the hotel are amazing as well.

Dejligt og roligt ophold. Venlig og rar service. Morgenmaden er lidt småt, forvent ikke det store. God pool, fin til børn og voksne. Der er 20 min meget stejl gågang ned i byen, med mange trapper. Vi var afsted med klapvogn lidt bøvlet at kommer rundt i gaderne ind imellem.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hôtel La Fiancée Du Pirate, it was hard to leave. Charlotte and Fabrice were incredible hosts, and we feel we gained two new friends during our stay. Our flight from the states to France was delayed over a full day, and when we finally arrived exhausted and hungry, Fabrice had fresh water waiting for us, and then he personally walked us to a local restaurant where we had the best pizza of our trip. We were treated to Chef Charlotte's made-to-order eggs every morning, they were a delicious way to start the day. Our hosts patiently took the time to help us navigate the local bus system, to make daily plans, and to find a good driving route when it was time for us to leave. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable for our family of four. As I said, it was hard to leave when our stay came to end, and we hope to visit again soon!

Stunning views from the terrace and rooms, beautifully decorated common areas, wonderful pool in manicured grounds, comfortable clean rooms, great breakfast and extremely welcoming hosts!! Absolutely loved this hotel!! The location is perfect too, Villefranche is enchanting, Nice is right there, Eze and Monaco are easily accessible too! Highly recommend!!

The place is really nice. Everything is clean and the owners are very friendly. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is that breakfast was 18€ per person. Price was not visible and it wasn't worth that amount of money.

The staff was very helpful. We arrived very hot and overheated. We were allowed to check in early, and given water and towels so that we could get right into the pool which was very appreciated. The pool was clean and lovely. Though the room had a/c which was essential due to the heat it lacked many amenities. There was no refrigeration which made keeping food and cold beverages a significant challenge. We were given ice from the bar but told we would need to purchase additional ice. We had to request a bag for trash (only a very small can in the bathroom). There was also a problem with small ants. It should be known that the walk to the waterfront is about 750 steps and not easy so an Uber or prior planning is advised. However, right up the street is a lovely patisserie, boulangerie and grocery and there is a nice view from the pool. Overall we had a great trip and the staff was very responsive with our requests.
