Sue and Tom were amazing hosts! The house is wonderful, is in a great location and loved that we sat with other guests at breakfast! Our family enjoyed late night board games from their collection. We will be back! The Becks from PA ❤️

Hosts were friendly and gave us good tips. Breakfasts were excellent. Room needed deep cleaning and a little upgrading. Would have liked accessible water and ice. Close to Williamsburg . We would stay there again.

Very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, an easy walk. Host was very knowledgeable about history and was happy to share. The full breakfast prepared by Tom was fantastic every morning. We were not comfortable using the refrigerator in the home's kitchen to store our drinks and things so we did without any refrigeration. We booked the smaller room so there was only one chair but the bed was comfortable and there was ample room for storage.

We are frequent flyers to Williamsburg & love this area. In the past, we stayed with family, but they no longer live there, so we needed a place to stay during our trip. We decided to go the BnB route & we are so glad we did! We stayed in the Lewis room, which is the smallest of the 3 rooms, but it was fine for us during our 3 night stay. The queen bed was very comfortable & the bathroom, while small, met our needs. The home is typical colonial home & is beautiful. It was decorated just as you would expect. Lots of historical art and books, which my husband loved! The owners had two historical murals painted in the common room opposite of each other, one of the Capitol and one of the Wrenn Building, to give you the feel of standing on Duke of Gloucester Street. This was a wonderful & unique touch that we loved. The common room was a great place to gather. The home has a lovely deck in the back that allowed us to sit & enjoy the evening. The was also a wonderful part of our stay. The breakfast was great all three days. Each day there was plenty of coffee and juice. Scrambled eggs were served each day along with fresh fruit & a meat. One day we had pancakes, one day we had waffles & one day there was biscuits with sausage gravy. One of the best parts was it is walking distance to the colonial area, specifically to the Capitol bldg side of town. Tom and Sue were excellent hosts who were enjoyable to spend time with. We felt like family and will be back!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Aldrich House. Everything was perfect for us and a few things really stood out. Our girls loved the reading nook in our quad room (and read a lot, not turning on the TV once during our stay). The location is ideal... other than driving to Jamestown, we did not use our car... easily walking to adjacent Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary. Finally, the hosts Tom and Sue were wonderful. While we were with them only a few short days, our visits made it feel like we were staying with friends. Overall, I highly recommend Aldrich House for a family trip to the area!

The room itself was lovely and very comfortable. The faucet for the bathroom sink was very difficult to turn on. The second day of my stay, the trash was emptied but the bed was not remade. Breakfast was not flexible, but at a single time - 8:30 am, which did not work at all for me on 2 days of my stay.

The Aldrich House was perfect for visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is a block from the back parking lot for Christina Cambell's Tavern. So, we parked at the house and walked into town each day. The house looks like one of the colonial houses in Williamsburg. It was decorated inside in the same colonial style. The room was cozy, clean, and decorated the same way. A wonderful breakfast was served family-style in the dining room. We were very impressed and could not ask for a better place to stay while visiting Colonial Williamsburg.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aldrich House Bed & Breakfast. The room was as advertised. Clean, well maintained and beautiful. The B&B was a short walk from Colonial Williamsburg. The breakfasts were great and cooked to perfection. Tom and Sue are very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. We would highly recommend the Aldrich House Bed & Breakfast to anyone visiting Colonial Williamsburg.

The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.

Tom and Sue were wonderful and gracious hosts. Tom was willing to share his love of history to recommend places to visit. Our bedroom was very large with a comfortable king-size bed. The whole house was filled with charming, period appropriate furniture and decorations. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

The Aldrich House is lovely and the room was comfortable, roomy and cozy. We loved the colonial decorations throughout the home, and all of the special touches. The owners, Tom and Sue, were not only friendly and provided a delicious breakfast, but were so helpful in terms of advising exactly what to see and directions as well. It was also a pleasure having breakfast with other traveling couples from not only another state, but another country as well! If we ever are back in Williamsburg, we will definitely stay here again.
The Aldrich House is lovely and the room was comfortable, roomy and cozy. We loved the colonial decorations throughout the home, and all of the special touches. Stayed here for our Anniversary Trip to Williamsburg. The Room was spacious with plenty of natural light. We also enjoyed that the room came with an ensuite. The bed and linens we soft and comfortable. Breakfast was promptly served at 8:30am with a range of pancakes or french toast with eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, and warm syrup! We enjoyed our hosts and the lively conversation between us and other guests. The property is a short walk to the colonial williamsburg area, but also easily driveable. I would definitely book here again!

Tom and Susan are a wonderful couple and fantastic hosts. The Aldrich House is beautiful and warm. They are extremely attentive to details, engaging and very knowledgeable of the towns history including personal life events of many of our nation's founding fathers. In addition, Tom makes delicious breakfasts!. We wish them the best and look forward to staying with them in the future.
Tom and Susan are a wonderful couple and fantastic hosts. The Aldrich House is beautiful and warm. They are extremely attentive to details, engaging and very knowledgeable of the towns history including personal life events of many of our nation's founding fathers. In addition, Tom makes delicious breakfasts!. We wish them the best and look forward to staying with them in the future.

Loved this. Was looking for something nice and convenient to Williamsburg. Mainly booked Aldrich house for the location (and good reviews)... ended up loving the b & b, breakfast was delicious and unique every day. Hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. Eight minute walk (at most) to historic Williamsburg. Lovely, quiet place. Will recommend this highly to anyone visiting the area.

Tom and Sue were wonderful and gracious hosts. Tom was willing to share his love of history to recommend places to visit. Our bedroom was very large with a comfortable king-size bed. The whole house was filled with charming, period appropriate furniture and decorations. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

The Aldrich House is lovely and the room was comfortable, roomy and cozy. We loved the colonial decorations throughout the home, and all of the special touches. The owners, Tom and Sue, were not only friendly and provided a delicious breakfast, but were so helpful in terms of advising exactly what to see and directions as well. It was also a pleasure having breakfast with other traveling couples from not only another state, but another country as well! If we ever are back in Williamsburg, we will definitely stay here again.

The couple who own the Aldrich House are delightful hosts. Their cooking is phenomenal and they were very accommodating. They gave us great recommendations for where to go out to eat and what to see in our short time in Williamsburg. Their house is very walkable to Colonial Williamsburg.

Loved this. Was looking for something nice and convenient to Williamsburg. Mainly booked Aldrich house for the location (and good reviews)... ended up loving the b & b, breakfast was delicious and unique every day. Hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. Eight minute walk (at most) to historic Williamsburg. Lovely, quiet place. Will recommend this highly to anyone visiting the area.

Very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, an easy walk. Host was very knowledgeable about history and was happy to share. The full breakfast prepared by Tom was fantastic every morning. We were not comfortable using the refrigerator in the home's kitchen to store our drinks and things so we did without any refrigeration. We booked the smaller room so there was only one chair but the bed was comfortable and there was ample room for storage.

I loved the colonial decor. The house is beautiful decorated for the colonial period. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Tom & Sue are wonderful hosts. I would stay here again. The location is great for visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown.

Stayed here for our Anniversary Trip to Williamsburg. The Room was spacious with plenty of natural light. We also enjoyed that the room came with an ensuite. The bed and linens we soft and comfortable. Breakfast was promptly served at 8:30am with a range of pancakes or french toast with eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, and warm syrup! We enjoyed our hosts and the lively conversation between us and other guests. The property is a short walk to the colonial williamsburg area, but also easily driveable. I would definitely book here again!

The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.

The room itself was lovely and very comfortable. The faucet for the bathroom sink was very difficult to turn on. The second day of my stay, the trash was emptied but the bed was not remade. Breakfast was not flexible, but at a single time - 8:30 am, which did not work at all for me on 2 days of my stay.

The Aldrich House was perfect for visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is a block from the back parking lot for Christina Cambell's Tavern. So, we parked at the house and walked into town each day. The house looks like one of the colonial houses in Williamsburg. It was decorated inside in the same colonial style. The room was cozy, clean, and decorated the same way. A wonderful breakfast was served family-style in the dining room. We were very impressed and could not ask for a better place to stay while visiting Colonial Williamsburg.

Tom made delicious breakfasts, and accommodated my gluten allergy. The house was beautifully decorated with a colonial America theme, and Tom was very helpful answering questions about our plans to tour Williamsburg.

This is a lovely place to stay. The site itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and its history. They helped us use our time there more effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at The Aldrich House. We would return if we ever end up back in Williamsburg.

This was a relaxing stay in the Lewis Ensuite. The entire B&B was spotless, full of interesting treasures, and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, and Tom was an interesting, informed, and attentive host. We would definitely stay here again!
