An overnight stay on our way to Florida. Very nice hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and convenient parking. They serve breakfast but we had already checked out by that time and got on our way. Their coffee was prepared though. Will stay here on our next trip through Montgomery.

We had a terrible day on the road, the hotel and staff made it up for all that and then some. They were warm and welcoming, we had a nice meal at the bar and really enjoyed talking to Patrick, he is fantastic, thank you so much for everything.

We usually stay at Hampton Inn but it was booked. We are used to the breakfast and 24 hr coffee and comfortable beds etc. This HGI is supposed to be an upgrade but doesn’t offer breakfast, beds were nowhere near as comfortable and the only “extras” in the room were a bar of soap and a make-up remover. No extra lotion or anything etc. the floors were nice because no carpet but they were so dirty I had to wipe my feet with a rag before I got in bed. No coffee in the lobby. The guests in the room above us sounded like a herd of elephants that I had to call at 10:00 at night and again at 6:45 am to complain. I’ve never had to complain before so I’m not just being a Karen. The staff did call and take care of the issue. For the price of the room I was slightly disappointed and won’t be my first option next time but would stay again if Hampton Inn is booked.

I had no ability to take a bath (no bathtub plug) and the front desk couldn't supply one. I used a sandwich bag to make my own. Ive never stayed in a hotel where I had to create my own bathtub plug. When I sat down in the bathtub, I had a disgusting view on a poop ring on the inside of the toilet bowl, like the left side hadn't been cleaned. It was also incredibly noisy Saturday night, with lots of stamping in 418, and door slamming until 1:00am on the 3rd Floor. For $200 per night, please supply your guests with a rubber bathtub plug. The front desk can keep some to have them available upon request if the hotel fears that a guest might steal a $3 rubber bathtub plug. I stayed at another hotel for 2 nights prior and not only did I not have these problems, but it was $100 cheaper. Please, Hilton Garden Inn Montgomery, you can do better. Very uncomfortable stay, certainly not worth the money of a two night stay for close to $500.

My one night stay at Hilton Garden Inn East in Montgomery, AL was great. The room’s cleanliness was great, and the hotel staff were cordial, helpful that led to a wonderful experience! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family as it’s also in a great location for lots of shopping and eating!

I had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day. When I asked to switch my reservation to one day earlier the did not accommodate me at all. There were many available rooms on both days so there was no reason they could not make the shift for me. It was definitely an opportunity to be people over policy and they did not helping me at all. I ended up getting a room for that night and paying for two nights while only staying one. Also when I got to the third floor the hallway and my room smelt like mildew. All the fixtures in my bathroom were rusty and I believe they have a humidity problem.

This hotel was the BEST hotel I have been too in many years! It smells clean and is very clean! The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable! THE STAFF WSS AWESOME (Front Desk and Housekeeping)‼️ I definitely will staying again soon!!

We stayed here on our way to watch an Auburn football game. The hotel was very clean. It is located in a nice area. A lot of good eating and shopping places nearby and it is conveniently located right off of the interstate.

The location is great and in a safer area of Montgomery. Check in was quick and smooth. We were disappointed with the condition of the room for the price we paid. There were stains on the counter tops, dirty bed frame, and the end table was broken off of the wall. Everything else was good.

Refrigerator was open all the way with ice build up, front desk staff gave no information at check in, had to ask about breakfast which is not complementary. On the surface, this is a nice hotel. Upon looking a little closer, it's a cheap remodel & update - such as lamps appear to be painted to look new, but the bases are still rusty - it's things like that. It's an attempt to be modern but just comes off as skimpy. Lamp shade was broken. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and hard. Pillows were inadequate. All in all, it got us thru one night but I won't stay there again.

The hotel was nice the location is awesome. It was clean the people that worked there were very nice. I loved there was a microwave, Keurig and a small fridge in the room. It seems these days microwaves are barely in any hotel rooms anymore. This area is awesome there are tons of places to eat and also a lot of shopping

I had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day. When I asked to switch my reservation to one day earlier the did not accommodate me at all. There were many available rooms on both days so there was no reason they could not make the shift for me. It was definitely an opportunity to be people over policy and they did not helping me at all. I ended up getting a room for that night and paying for two nights while only staying one. Also when I got to the third floor the hallway and my room smelt like mildew. All the fixtures in my bathroom were rusty and I believe they have a humidity problem.

So far the experience has been great. The staff here is top notch and services and amenities are perfect! Convent to everything and I highly recommend and will come back

The hotel was nice the location is awesome. It was clean the people that worked there were very nice. I loved there was a microwave, Keurig and a small fridge in the room. It seems these days microwaves are barely in any hotel rooms anymore. This area is awesome there are tons of places to eat and also a lot of shopping

We stayed here on our way to watch an Auburn football game. The hotel was very clean. It is located in a nice area. A lot of good eating and shopping places nearby and it is conveniently located right off of the interstate.

Our stay was good for the most part! The hotel was very clean. The only concerns were, the hotel didn't offer continental breakfast. Guests shouldn't have to pay for breakfast. At such an establishment, it should not allow animals! You have guests who have allergies and should not have to share an establishment with animals.

Bed was very uncomfortable, room was humid. Refrigerator was open all the way with ice build up, front desk staff gave no information at check in, had to ask about breakfast which is not complementary. Has to look up check out time…no complementary water at check in. For the cost, there are no perks!

We had a terrible day on the road, the hotel and staff made it up for all that and then some. They were warm and welcoming, we had a nice meal at the bar and really enjoyed talking to Patrick, he is fantastic, thank you so much for everything.

We usually stay at Hampton Inn but it was booked. We are used to the breakfast and 24 hr coffee and comfortable beds etc. This HGI is supposed to be an upgrade but doesn’t offer breakfast, beds were nowhere near as comfortable and the only “extras” in the room were a bar of soap and a make-up remover. No extra lotion or anything etc. the floors were nice because no carpet but they were so dirty I had to wipe my feet with a rag before I got in bed. No coffee in the lobby. The guests in the room above us sounded like a herd of elephants that I had to call at 10:00 at night and again at 6:45 am to complain. I’ve never had to complain before so I’m not just being a Karen. The staff did call and take care of the issue. For the price of the room I was slightly disappointed and won’t be my first option next time but would stay again if Hampton Inn is booked.

Upon entrance the lobby smells amazing and it looks nice. Don’t be fooled. At check in they told me the pet fee was $75 despite Hotels.com booking advertising $50.00. After having to ask the clerk to match the price, the manager finally came and said they’d honor it this one time. Room was not really clean. Lots of stains and spills on floor. The beds had hairs in them so unsure if sheets were changed. There was urine still on toilet seat. Hallways were dark and dingy smelling. Pool area has trash and bottles left everywhere. The janitor was on speakerphone saying he wasn’t going throw it out because the guests may come back. Spoiler, the next morning everything was still there. We witnessed him taking their used towels and folding them and putting back on towel cart. Hotel allowed guests to light off fireworks in parking lot, they left the trash there as well. Most likely wouldn’t stay again. The bed was comfortable but we were also deliriously tired from travel.

Front desk lady was super helpful at check in. We stay here on our way to Florida and on the way home every time we go. Never have an issue.

The floors in our room were greasy, but otherwise it was clean! I didn't interact much with the staff. My daughter fell in the lobby running to me (yes I know they say no running) and as I walked away her dad heard the front desk receptionist say a sarcastic statement about her falling then she denied it. I don’t have anything grand to say about the place. Probably be a great place if you don’t have children. I don’t think the staff are too fond of children (which is fine).

The room was excellent and things were great, however the rate quoted on Hotels.com is not what the hotel charged me. I am now having to dispute this with the manager of the hotel. They charged me $177.00 over the booked rate after I lect.
