Lovely old hotel with loads of character. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. We had dinner in the bistro on both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast was set up in the upstairs kitchen and consisted of cereals, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, juice and yogurt. There was a coffee maker, washing machine, dryer and fish washer.

The room was surprisingly nice! Bathroom had underfloor heating, dual shower head, and complimentary drinks in the fridge. There was a shared breakfast nook with a simple complimentary breakfast, access to a washing machine, and a sneaky hotel entrance that by-passed the bars. Staff were polite and pleasant when they showed us our room (Kit), and accommodating when I asked them to store a bottle of breast milk in their fridge for a few hours after we checked out. There was no sound in our room from the nearby highway or the bar downstairs. Parking was tricky (Friday evening).

We stayed only one night and loved the experience. The room was large, comfortable and and tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great. The service was good and performed by well trained and professional staff. There were little details that made the experience more enjoyable like the personal welcoming card with chocolates on the desk and the voucher for a free drink which we used with our dinner. I did not use the laundry facility but I thought that having access to a washing and drying machine as a free service was a real plus for travellers. The continental breakfast included was a self service one in a well stocked room. We had dinner at the hotel and chose the "cart blanch" meal set for two and we were amazed by the quality, the generous portions and by how delicious and well presented all the dishes were which was an absolute stand out for us. We would highly recommended Crafers Hotel.

Beautifully renovated elegant hotel paying homage to history of the area - quiet, comfortable with separate kitchenette with continental breakfast goodies - washer/dryer for convenience - accessibility bathroom outstanding. Restaurant - wonderful food and wines. Owners should be proud of all their staff - nothing is too much trouble Stand outs are Lisa, Sandie and especially Hayley who goes over and above to make Guests welcome and comfortable All made my 'homecoming' from Queensland to spend Christmas with family more special - Thank you.

Very comfortable, quiet, with excellent continental breakfast included. Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Finding a park in the carpark can be a little difficult at lunch time. Would certainly stay again.

Lovely, restored room with fireplace, air-conditioning, and heated floor in the bathroom! On arrival we entered through the bottle shop, a bit strange, then we were given a tour of the hotel. All rooms are on level 1, but they have a lift. The rooms are clean and decorated in the style keeping with the pub's age. There is a communal kitchen with continental breakfast included and a coffee espresso machine. But the room had all you need for coffee making plus a fridge to keep your Barossa wines cool :) overall a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Crafers Hotel is ideally situated at the gateway to the Mt Lofty area. The staff are super friendly and helpful and they made our stay memorable. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of the best hotels in the Adelaide Hills area. It might look like it's just a room above a pub - it's not. It's a beautiful vintage hotel with a restaurant and bar downstairs and gorgeous well appointed rooms upstairs with big beds, gas fireplaces and huge bathtubs for luxurious evenings. I have stayed here twice now and I look forward to coming back again. It's wonderful.

We had a very comfortable stay at Crafers, the bed and pillows were first class. Complimentary mini bar was great, staff very friendly and helpful, a bit of traffic noise but this died down at night - wouldn't hesitate to stay here on our next visit to this area

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in the Sawyer room with the gas fireplace. Izzy was very efficient and friendly during check in and very helpful with our dinner reservation at the hotel also. Bed was very comfortable and room was cosy on a cold rainy day. We did struggle to make the bathroom warm and to increase the temp of the floor but that’s an issue for us as we didn't flag with the staff. A continental breakfast in the breakfast room was provided also. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. Beds very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Continental breakfast available - make yourself and take back to your room. We had a shady balcony to enjoy a drink before dinner and breakfast. Dining at Crafers was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend staying here.

A step back in time into a time when service mattered. The rooms are set above the restaurant area but I couldn't hear a peep- wonderfully soundproofed. The rooms delivery lux feels and with complementary continental breakfast and a washer and dryer this made for an amazing mid-road trip stay. The staff were professional and helpful. Only issue was accessing the hotel was limited to coming through the dining room or via the bottle shop drive through.

The staff were excellent, accomodating, and thoughtful. The room was very comfortable and attractive, with high ceilings, comfy bed, soft bathrobes etc. Morning paper delivered. Breakfast room with espresso machine and hot croissant. Crafers hotel: good things come in small packages!

This was by far the best stay we have experienced in recent years. Service was impeccable and standards unreal, all staff identified you and made eye contact or offered assistance. Seth was amazing with their Wine Cellar experience. David and Lisa were also very accomodating. Great experience! will be our go to for Adelaide.

Cruel. Wednesday night when I asked for help because I’d accidentally tapped cancel instead of change the most important booking Thursday 29 June. My family flew 2 days for my daughter’s First Holy Communion Sunday and had to leave Friday. They deserved a good night sleep before back to a. 3 stopover return. Instead we were charged a late fee because he took a bit too long to wash up-as I said my place is having plumbing repairs. . Overall excellent to exceptionally poor quality and performance.

The staff were outstanding, we were welcomed and taken to our room. The room was warm and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening which was excellent. Very nice continental breakfast was on offer. All the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Greeted by Isabel showed us to our room personally. Dinner was excellent server David again excellent. Highly recommend will definitely be back. Well done 👏

The room was beautifully appointed , exceptionally clean and well designed, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food , wine and other drinks were amazing..The fabulous breakfast and complimentary mini bar items was a great treat.. would definitely recommend the Crafers Hotel to anyone.

Whilst Crafers itself is a tiny village, the Hotel is splendid with beautiful rooms, well set out and attractive dining areas, with and easy elegance Bistro and a more casual, but comfortable all-day eating area. If you like to walk, it’s only 40 min round trip to Stirling (4 mins drive) and 15-20 mins drive to Hahndorf and other Hills towns.

A beautiful place to stay! The Crafers Hotel is beautifully renovated, clean and all the staff we had contact with were friendly, obliging and very welcoming. Our time at Crafers was very enjoyable and I would highly recommend it for accommodation and dining.

Crafers Hotel is ideally situated at the gateway to the Mt Lofty area. The staff are super friendly and helpful and they made our stay memorable. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Crafers Hotel is a beautiful classy property but at a very reasonable price .The rooms,staff,dining are all fantastic. It is placed in a wonderful position for the airport, Adelaide City and of the beautiful Lofty Ranges. We highly recommend staying here, dining here or just quaffing top class wines around one of the cosy fireplaces.

The staff were excellent, accomodating, and thoughtful. The room was very comfortable and attractive, with high ceilings, comfy bed, soft bathrobes etc. Morning paper delivered. Breakfast room with espresso machine and hot croissant. Crafers hotel: good things come in small packages!

I stayed in the Summit room and it was so pretty. Equipped with everything you need and nice touch to have free snacks in the room. Room service food was great and prompt service. Breakfast room is way too small. Couldn’t sit down as chairs were occupied and there was no clean cutlery and hardly any crockery left. Overall a very pleasant stay though.

Our room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. We had dinner at the hotel which was fantastic. A very extensive wine list and sommelier who happily shared his thoughts on different options. Very friendly staff

Always a pleasure to stay at this property, delightfully decorated, very comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Restaurant food very good and excellent wine list but steer clear of house wine (French) and go for local options.

Last time we were at Crafers Hotel it was just for lunch. We said we would return and stay. It was magical. Beautiful room, delicious food including breakfast and dinner, The staff are lovely. Beautiful. Luxurious, classy. We stayed here before our 30 minute drive to the airport. We will return.

Have been to the good old Crefes many a time and always enjoyed a meal there, and this trip I stayed there and loved it just the same. It's a great place. It's a little bit boutique, which is nice. You don't have to go through any big lift lobbies, and the whole check-in process and everything is so simple and easy. Loved it and happily stayed again. Cheers! Plus, there are all the added benefits of welcome drinks and what have you and so on. There's a little kitchenette where you can do your breakfast snack, as well as do your washing and everything. Everything is there. Great place!

This a beautiful old hotel with excellent facilities. The room was lovely and the bathroom with its heated floor was spacious. The bar and restaurant are worth trying. Would definitely stay again.
