I'm grateful for the opportunity to overnight inside the park. Overall, it's a wonderful experience. I will say though that it would be nice if there was dedicated parking for each cabin. Someone had grabbed the parking place to our cabin which sent us on a 10 minute search for an appropriate place to park. Additionally, I must comment on the dining hall. We made it a point to arrive at opening time for breakfast, but were told there would be a wait. Over half the tables in the dining room were still available. Upon my registering my complaint, I was told that several employees had called in to take the day off. I couldn't believe there weren't stand-by employees to fill these slots. After a 20 minute wait and still no table, my sister and I left, hungry. Disappointed at what boils down to poor service at the dining hall. Finally, I'll repeat, that the lodging itself, the cabins, the staff all made for an overall enjoyable visit. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our time in a frontier cabin at Mammoth Hot Springs. At first we were a little nervous about not having air conditioning and TV. But the room cooled down quickly with the cross breeze and the Map Room served as our living room away from home. We'd stay again if we return to Yellowstone.

I had not read my reservation thoroughly, and did not realize that the bathrooms and showers were separate from the cabins, so that was a surprise. However, the little two room cabin had a sink in each room and was very comfortable and cozy. Beds were great. The bathrooms were fighting a battle against bugs, etc. so we’re not super clean, but the toilets are fine and everything worked great.

We stayed in a cabin with two queen beds at Mammoth Hot Springs. We parked right next to our cabin for easy unloading. We were lucky as the parking is unassigned. Our cabin was part of a circle of cabins with the porch facing a grassy courtyard. The place was quite cute though small was adequate for the two of us. Our cabin had a separate bathroom with a separate bath that included a small shower stall. Cons were no coffee, no microwave. Have to walk to one of the 2 businesses to get food/drink. I knew that going in though. I would stay again due to being in the park.

Upgraded amenities, the only negative was the changes made in the Map Room. The property management company built a bar/lounge in the corner of the map room taking away from the historic charm of the Map Room. There’s already a bar in the Mammoth Hotel Dining Room. The new bar wasn’t needed and detracts from the historic nature of the hotel. Now when guests or visitors come through the Map Room they’re lead to believe that the bar is an original part of the Hotel.

Tons of little extra touches! Bear shaped soap along with stuffed Buffalo in the room, lots of eco recycling options. Room key was wood. Water in the room was in metal cans so no plastics. Just a bunch of extra little touches. We had a fantastic chat around the campfire with smores. The staff that was managing that area was very knowledgeable and a joy to chat with. Everyone we interacted with on staff was truly happy to be there.

No wifi at the cabin, but you can get wifi in the main hotel lobby which has lots of seating areas. We stayed in a cabin with a clean, hard bed. There was a filthy rug in there that should be thrown away. The table and chairs on the porch were filthy. The bathroom near us was very close by and clean, but the showers were super tiny with a poor set up to put any clothes or bathing supplies anywhere.

We stayed in a cabin. They are bare minimum a sink, bed and chairs. They were relatively clean however i did find old popcorn under a chair in our room. It was cool to see the elk eating right in front of our cabin. The hand soap pump was broken in our room. The bathrooms were clean however the shower had shampoo, conditioner and body but the conditioner and body wash pumps didnt work and I couldn't figure out how to get them off the wall to use so mid shower had to move to the other shower. The men's bathroom body wash was also broken. The amenities were lacking, no coffee unless you drove to the main lobby and purchased one. I think for the price they charge they could at least give a coffee maker. The restaurant is expensive and the service for dinner wasn't great. The breakfast buffet was good and the service was much better. Overall good atmosphere but lacking amenities for the cost. A coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave would be very helpful.

We knew it would be small when we booked the cabin, but we had to use one of the beds for luggage and belongings. We requested daily housekeeping, but didn’t get it any of the three days we were there. The room was very dusty. I wish we had spent the extra money to stay in the hotel.

Mammoth was a great location to launch a 3 day stay in Yellowstone. Hotle was an upscale, clean and up to date hotel. Rooms were not the largest but area around the hotel was very economical and a vibrant community.

Stayed in an adorable little cabin with a bathroom sink. It was warm and cozy. It was a quick walk to the bathrooms and showers. Mostly quiet and enjoyed the map room with coffee in the mornings.

We rented a "cabin" thinking it would be a fun experience. The cabin is a 15'X15' room with a very small uncomfortable, queen bed, no bath and no air conditioning. The restrooms/showers are communal and the restroom was located directly behind our cabin and with no air conditioning, we had to open the windows and everyone walking out of the bathroom could look directly into our cabin, so we had ZERO privacy. AWKWARD! They do provide a small fan.

It was cabin inside Mammoth Hot Springs. I disliked the shared bathroom outside the cabin- but I think that’s common in most of the lodges in Yellowstone. Cabin was itself stuffy (was hot inside without any ventilation). A basic cabin - will give you a roof to sleep for a night(best if you want to explore Mammoth springs and nearby board walk areas). Of course, no WiFi in any cabins, but there was WiFi at reception area- you need to there and use. It was again peaceful and refreshing not to be connected with outside world for sometime and just be in the nature.🙂

Basic and nice rooms. Staff were wonderful. Just that damn radiator wouldn’t shut up. All night long it had this loud repetitive clicking noise waking everyone up. Ridiculous.

Room was spacious, bathroom was huge with claw foot tub/shower. No air conditioning but really didn’t need any mid July. Elk nibbling grass on front lawn. A wonderful stay.

There is NO AC at all. The screens in our cabin were bent and one window did not open at all. Cabins are very small. No room for suitcases.

Expensive food with bad service. Also nothing else is around unless you drive to Gardiner late in the night so you end up paying with no choice. The dining room supposed to close at 9. We went at 8 and they said they are not seating and we need to order pickup. We slept hangry that day. initial thought was, were they being racist to a brown family but giving them the benefit of doubt I concluded they are just disorganized with bunch of overworked youngsters handling the front.

We stayed in a cabin which was basic and alright. Check in was laborious and the room wasn’t ready until after 6pm. The cabin didn’t have wifi. There’s a big canteen which is first come first served which we avoided and popped out to the nearby town for a really nice meal. If I visited the area again i would probably stay outside the park and drive in daily (it’s 5 miles).

We stayed here to be in the park. It was nice but cabin was a lil small for our family of 4. Nice to have dining hall; they do not accept reservations but we got a table pretty quickly. Super cool to see animals outside our cabins at night or in the morning.

Absolutely wonderful stay for my husband’s birthday! Loved the Victorian character with updated modern conveniences. Huge rooms with Lots of Wildlife. 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel and the dining hall was great too. Loved walking the hot Springs at sunset!

We loved our stay! Rooms were great, beds were comfortable. Mammoth Springs is a little out of the way as far as location goes (North end of park), but it's a great spot.

Mammoth was a great location to launch a 3 day stay in Yellowstone. Hotle was an upscale, clean and up to date hotel. Rooms were not the largest but area around the hotel was very economical and a vibrant community.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to overnight inside the park. Overall, it's a wonderful experience. I will say though that it would be nice if there was dedicated parking for each cabin. Someone had grabbed the parking place to our cabin which sent us on a 10 minute search for an appropriate place to park. Additionally, I must comment on the dining hall. We made it a point to arrive at opening time for breakfast, but were told there would be a wait. Over half the tables in the dining room were still available. We stayed at a cabin. The front desk was much nicer than the one at Canyon Village. The room was small but set up reasonably. Best meal we had in Yellowstone was the breakfast at its Dining Room. The grill was nice too.

Food is good at the Dining Room. We ate breakfast and dinner (twice) there, food is fresh and delicious. waiters and waitresses are very considerate. They really tried their best to make you feel at home! The area is very modernly renovated and all conveniences are closely located within walking distance: the hotel, cabins, dining, general store, and services. The beds are on the soft side, I personally prefer firmer bed. The scenic views are great. We drove east early morning, and after two minutes, we saw a group of female and young elks grazing along the green and flower carpeted slope next to a beautiful creek. What a great scene!

We were looking for burger, salad, or sandwich options. We had to drive into Gardiner for supper, a 15-minute drive. There was also NO AIR CONDITIONING which I didn't think that was an amenity I would have to double check on. I figured in this day & age every place would have air conditioning. Thank goodness it cools off at night!

Overall, the location was good. It's close to Browning which gave more dining choices with better prices and better food. The lodging was okay. However, our room was ready several hours late. After driving all day to get there, it was a bit frustrating. The staff was friendly enough.

la nostra cabin aveva dei problemi per cui hanno fatto un upgrade gratuito in una stanza dell'hotel. stanza ampia e comoda. bagno di altri tempi con vasca da bagno con i piedini che però funzionava bene e con la tenda non bagnava fuori. lavandino troppo piccola senza praticamente posto per appoggiare nulla e con segni di scrostramenti nella ceramica. comunque soggiorno buono e camera nell'insieme confortevole
