It's our favourite hotel to stay in Whistler - in fact, I can't remember the last time we stayed at another place when we come up from Vancouver. For us, it's the perfect location - still in the Whistler village, but away from the hustling, bustling, and the noise (if you know, you know - especially if you are staying near the strip/ road where all the clubs and bars are). We can easily walk to our favourite restaurants/ food places, and desserts such as 21 Steps, Balam, and Cows. The staff is always friendly, and the check-in/check-out process is very smooth and painless. The underground parking lot is accessible, and you can pay upfront when you check in for $25/ day (and on the day you check out, you can still park until 4 PM). The rooms have always been so cozy, clean, and exactly what we need, no matter what type of room we opt for. There are always coffee pods available, and we like to get a pastry or two from Pure Bread, overlooking the mountains, while having a cup of coffee on the balcony. The pool and hot tub are also very well maintained (even though the hot tub is on the smaller side). Overall, I cannot recommend Alpenglow enough, especially when you are considering a more cozy, (relatively) budget-friendly option when staying in Whistler. We can't wait to be back probably this year again, as we'd like to go up twice a year!

Perfect location. It was close to everything so we didn't have to drive much. Room had everything you needed to cook. Staff were friendly. Only complaint is how tight the underground parking. I drive a smaller car and had a hard time getting into a stall and getting out of my car. I would rebook here when I return to whistler

Good location in Whistler North with easy access to The Stroll for dining and shopping options. Supermarket close by. Only negative was that the hot tub was only open on our last day there.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a very nice temperature. I would have liked the gym to be open before 9 am but overall it was sufficient. I would definitely stay here again.

Would have been nice to know that they are doing major construction on site. One elevator not working. Noisy construction workers could not sit out on our deck because workers were there. Will not return to this hotel

The rooms were nice but could be cleaner. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and decent sized fridges. The front desk staff seemed very grumpy every time we talked to them BUT they did let us check in early which was extremely kind of them since we had booked and extra night last minute so that saved us the hassle of having to put our luggage in the storage and then have to kill 6 hours in the rain ☔️ while the other room was ready. So that really saved the trip! The parking was a bit of a disaster because the debit/interact function on the parking machine didn’t work, so we had run around town trying to switch out cash into $24 of coins (well 72 dollars worth of coins for 3 nights!) cause they didn’t have any change at the front desk. Strange! Lol but our overall review was that the rooms were excellently priced and the location is perfect! All the shops and restaurants were within a 9 min walk of the beautiful village stroll 🤩 We will definitely come back xoxo

The room was older but not too dirty. Issue was we had to be our own room service. I avoided getting an air bnb for this reason how ever when I got there I realized there was no room service. We had to remove our garbage before we check out. There was no garbage chute, we had to go to basement to drop the garbage. I feel like for $630 or so for 3 days 2 nights the least we could have had was to leave behind our garbage for someone to collect. After we cleaned our room we wanted to replace the Garbage bag but we didn’t have fresh garbage bags either. We also didn’t have an extra roll of toilet paper. And the toilet paper we had was a half used toilet paper. It wasn’t a fresh roll that was hanging. So we than had to use tissue paper for the last evening. The toilet paper was also super thin 1 ply. I just think for the price we paid for 2 nights 3 days we could have had a better experience. The room is very old. Also parking wasn’t free. Upside is that it was in the centre of whistler village so it was fun and the lobby was very clean. Also we didn’t have cards to enter the rooms. Seemed a bit odd we had to enter rooms with our codes. Lastly wifi did not connect at all. Upside is that the 2 employees we did see or interact with in the lobby were very nice.

Suite 212 was very clean and looked freshly renovated, very little wear and tear. Soundproofing didn't seem great but luckily, Whistler was quiet during my stay.

the room was clean, staff very helpful, the area beautiful. We even had an issue with the room and was dealt within hours. Yes would strongly recommend. The only issue, which is nothing major is why pay for parking.

Great place in Whistler. Right in the village for east walking to shops, restaurants, and the ski hill. Room was spotless as kitchenette well appointed including coffee for the AM. Would stay again, and recommend, especially for the price compared to other less nice places we have stayed.

The room we booked (based on pictures) was not in anyway similar to the room we had. We found multiple ants in the bathroom and the room was a bit run down. Staff were pleasant and the room served it purpose, but given i was expecting a significantly different room from what i got, i felt it didn't meet expectations.

The room was a comfortable, clean, and warm studio with small but well appointed kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, good size bar fridge, cooking utensils), fireplace, heater/air-conditioner, two person dining table, ample hanging storage for coats and clothing, good sized bathroom, TV (Netflix and Prime preinstalled, browser can be used to search for Disney+ etc), strong WiFi, and very comfortable queen bed. The small balcony had a lovely outlook over part of the town, forest line and surrounding mountains (when the clouds and fog parted). Only issue was during check in, but seems like it was a delay on processing from Hotels.com side. I booked last minute and these things happen, but reception was really kind and helpful getting this sorted for me asap.

For the cost I found the room very small, double bed, plug in the wall air conditioner so it was either very cold when you use it or if you turn it off it gets hot, very outdated.

The property was well located and convenient. The biggest drawback was the bed, which felt small and at times felt like you were sleeping on a trampoline when my spouse moved at all.

Location was excellent. Top floor was great. Room facilities were good. Only problem was the terrible noise every time the lift was in operation. The fixtures, fittings and decoration was very dated. I would not recommend this complexes top floor to anybody because of the lift noise. To supply ear plugs on the bedside tabe was a bit off putting.

We had a great stay at Alpenglow Lodge! The room was comfortable and the location was perfect. The only downside was the air conditioning—it was a bit too noisy, so we ended up turning it off and opening the window instead, which worked fine. What I really appreciated was how the staff contacted us right away about the items we accidentally left behind after checkout. That kind of thoughtfulness means a lot. Overall, a very good experience!

Excelkent location but quiet at night which is a great combination. Our gas fire did not work at first but the team fixed it and it was so cosy. Sonja at the front desk was so helpful.
Excelkent location but quiet at night which is a great combination. Our gas fire did not work at first but the team fixed it and it was so cosy. Sonja at the front desk was so helpful.

Assez bien dans l’ensemble. Le fait qu’il n’y ai pas de réceptionniste en soirée et le matin ne permettait pas de «\xa0louer\xa0» le spa avant les journées de ski. Un peu déçu de la chambre qui aurait besoin d’un peu d’amour mais c’était tout de même agréable.

It's our favourite hotel to stay in Whistler - in fact, I can't remember the last time we stayed at another place when we come up from Vancouver. For us, it's the perfect location - still in the Whistler village, but away from the hustling, bustling, and the noise (if you know, you know - especially if you are staying near the strip/ road where all the clubs and bars are). We can easily walk to our favourite restaurants/ food places, and desserts such as 21 Steps, Balam, and Cows. The staff is always friendly, and the check-in/check-out process is very smooth and painless. The underground parking lot is accessible, and you can pay upfront when you check in for $25/ day (and on the day you check out, you can still park until 4 PM). The rooms have always been so cozy, clean, and exactly what we need, no matter what type of room we opt for. There are always coffee pods available, and we like to get a pastry or two from Pure Bread, overlooking the mountains, while having a cup of coffee on the balcony. The pool and hot tub are also very well maintained (even though the hot tub is on the smaller side). Overall, I cannot recommend Alpenglow enough, especially when you are considering a more cozy, (relatively) budget-friendly option when staying in Whistler. We can't wait to be back probably this year again, as we'd like to go up twice a year!

We had a great stay at Alpenglow Lodge! The room was comfortable and the location was perfect. The only downside was the air conditioning—it was a bit too noisy, so we ended up turning it off and opening the window instead, which worked fine. Overall, a very good experience!

When I checked in yesterday, the manager on duty named Mae, was very rude. She made no eye contact and her attitude was that of someone who did not want to work there, and guests were an inconvenience to her. I bumped into another guest that was checked by Mae right before me, and I asked if they thought she was rude and unpleasant and they agreed. Mae, if you are reading this, I would take this as constructive feedback to improve your guest experience. I will not be staying at the Alpenglow again.

Aspenglow is one of the more affordable hotels in Whistler Village. It has everything you need, a clean room, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, a pool, hot tub, sauna and a gym. We will probably go back there for it's value. I'm a pretty easygoing customer but to be honest, the front desk staff are just the least friendly front-desk staff I've seen in any hotel. They are usually on their cellphones or the computer, not greeting anybody walking in. It wasn't particularly a busy season too. Also, the bathroom towel holder and entryway coat rack in our room are coming off the walls. Does not look like this is a new thing. I was going to report it but again, the staff were not very approachable. I hope they don't fall on guests. Overall still a good experience for the affordability. It'll just be nice to have that friendly face when you enter a hotel on your vacation.

The rooms were nice but could be cleaner. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and decent sized fridges. The front desk staff seemed very grumpy every time we talked to them BUT they did let us check in early which was extremely kind of them since we had booked and extra night last minute so that saved us the hassle of having to put our luggage in the storage and then have to kill 6 hours in the rain ☔️ while the other room was ready. So that really saved the trip! The parking was a bit of a disaster because the debit/interact function on the parking machine didn’t work, so we had run around town trying to switch out cash into $24 of coins (well 72 dollars worth of coins for 3 nights!) cause they didn’t have any change at the front desk. Strange! Lol but our overall review was that the rooms were excellently priced and the location is perfect! All the shops and restaurants were within a 9 min walk of the beautiful village stroll 🤩 We will definitely come back xoxo

The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the centre and it's amenities and within a short walk to Whistlers main attractions.If you are planning to stay a few days without using your car, the underground car park is safe and convenient. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel or it's staff.

Alpenglow is conveniently located and easy to find. The appointment we got was not the one I saw pictures of when booking. I was disappointed by the outdated chipped wooden furniture. However, the place was very clean, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook, there was plenty of storage space, and the bedroom was separated from the living area. Though we did not use the balcony, it was nice to have the possibility of sitting there. It was positive that the bathroom had dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner instead of individual packages. However, they all had very strong heavy scent of an 80’s aftershave that lingered for a long time, so we did not use them. All pillows were very high and impossible for me to sleep on, so I used a folded towel instead. If you are a back sleeper you should bring your own pillow, and if you are scent sensitive, bring your own toiletries. This said, the place is a great value.

Perfect location. It was close to everything so we didn't have to drive much. Room had everything you needed to cook. Staff were friendly. Only complaint is how tight the underground parking. I drive a smaller car and had a hard time getting into a stall and getting out of my car. I would rebook here when I return to whistler

Great location. Easy, flat walk from bus to/from Vancouver. Bar fridge with small freezer. Fresh ice cubes ready on arrival. Oven, cooktop and microwave. Small gym. One treadmill. Everything perfect except for the bed which trembles like jelly/jello in an earthquake when your partner moves. Saved by having the fold down bed available. Very close to good sized supermarket.

We found everything we needed and more in our room. It was clean to the corners,nice and bright. The amenities were lovely and smell so good. We loved the small patio as well. The staff treated us like VIP s. A really great stay.

there were limited supplies like only 1 half used up toilet paper roll & no paper towel. The kitchen in the queen deluxe studio was small, almost no counter space but the room in general was spacious. The elevator was very slow & creaky & sometimes would not come when you press the call button, it seems to linger around the second floor & skip the ground floor to go straight to parking level. The entrance to underground parking is extremely narrow & the keypad to enter the code is dangerously placed on the left side wall, meaning those entering are at risk of colliding with those exiting the parking garage. The gate opens up very slowly with the space between the two gates meant for 15min check ins is incredibly restricted. The parking spots overall were ridiculously narrow, which is silly considering many SUVs & other larger vehicles commonly visit. Unless you are incredibly thin & drive a Honda Fit or smaller good luck trying to park your car & get out of it easily & swiftly. Our average sized family had to exit the vehicle before parking & we chose to only park where there wasn’t already a car on drivers side wherever possible. The pool & hot tub were closed for renovations which should have been included during the booking process & should have reflected in the price. Seems a bit silly to be paying full price with limited amenities. Otherwise, it was clean room & the staff we did encounter were really kind, & check out was super easy!
