SHANGHAI-DECO Hotel-Free shuttle bus to Pudong Airport and Disneyland

Checkin took too long (over 15 minutes ) because they couldn’t find my reservation for some reason?!? It was right there on a preprinted paper! Breakfast was very good but I saw a cockroach on the soy milk table. Bed was very comfortable. The blackout blind was slightly opened at the end of the wall which led in a lot of morning light and woke us up and I tried to close it but it wouldn’t close. The concierge helped us book a taxi and watched our luggage while we toured Shanghai, that was very nice. The shuttle was convenient to/from airport, just make sure you let them know you need the shuttle ahead of time. There are vending machines if you need a late night snack. There are no attractions or sightseeing place near the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Choose this hotel to be close to the airport. The free airport shuttle was easy to book and use. Property was nice and clean. Didn’t use the Disney shuttle because it leaves at 7:05 and one coming back leave at 21:40. The light show ends at 21:30 and it is a long walk to the pick up location.

Those booking should be realistic about expectations. For what you pay, this place is worth it. The good: -breakfast is decent (eggs, noodles, fruits, various other items). -airport shuttle. Hotel is not by anything, but we’d just take the shuttle to and from the airport, and went to the metro line there. Keep in mind that the subway/metro does stop running in the evening. We found out when it randomly stopped at a stop, so we grabbed a taxi/didi. -front desk is hit and miss with English, but they’re polite and use a translation app. -washer and dryer onsite and free for guests to use. Downside is there’s only two of each and guests aren’t considerate. I got stuck waiting on people to come and deal with their clothes. If you use the machines then set a timer. Be considerate. Be prompt to toss things into the dryer, then collect your crap. I wanted to just toss one of the peoples things out because I took multiple trips to the machines, and their clothes was just hanging out in the machines. The bad (I hope management sees this, because it won’t detour me from staying again, but was inconvenient): -WiFi was definitely lacking. I stayed in the second building, but this should get improved -would be great to add more laundry machines or at least another dryer. I washed clothes in 15 minutes, then waited on the idiot who chose nearly a 2 hour drying cycle -clean shower drains! -wipe room floors -add an English tv channel or some free movies -check linens. Mine had stains

Airport shuttle was easy to locate and on time

シャトルバスで空港とディズニーランドに行けるが、それ以外の移動はタクシーを呼ぶしかない 宿泊費はタクシー代分高くなるイメージでいたほうがいいです ただホテル自体はきれいで快適なのでまた使いたいです

I particularly liked the washroom arrangement and spacious shower. I had a single room and it had a king size bed. There was a free buffet breakfast that had a great selection. The only downside is that the hotel is located in an industrial area but okay if you just need a place to sleep. Staff were very friendly

It is a great place to stay either a few days or the night . Hotel is very clean , and they make an effort, and go the extra mile make you comfortable. Breakfast was really good, that of course is if you like Chinese cuisine. The bus service to and from airport is timely 24-7 . Over all a great place , stayed several times already .

Rooms were very clean and nice, good amount of space for luggage too. Breakfast is excellent with lots of Chinese options too. Free shuttle to/from airport and also Shanghai Disneyland.

The room was very clean, the staff was courteous, and the free breakfast in the morning was excellent. They also called me in the morning to remind me of my shuttle to the airport.

airport shuttle easy to find. the only complaint the room was smelly. we complaint and the second room was slightly better. the smell is moldy kind, perhaps from the hvac.

When we arrived, our room was not clean, but they did switch us to another room. The first room was also very noisy as I guess there’s construction next-door. The breakfast was very good.

This hotel offers airport shuttle, which was the primary reason I chose this one. Be aware that the airport shuttle only runs once an hour, 24 hrs a day. The location is further out and less convenient than I expected. My room looks clean, but the bedding has funny odor. It smells like the bedding wasn’t washed properly. Food in the restaurant wasn’t bad. Breakfast was good.

객실에 들어가자마자 담배냄새가 나서 방 교체를 요청했어요. 바로 바꿔주셨지만 바꾼 방에서도 담배냄새인지 곰팡이냄새인지 불쾌한 냄새가 계속 났습니다. 처음 방과 두번째 방 둘다 작은 베게(쿠션)에서는 머리냄새가 났구요. 조식은 메뉴 가지수가 여러개였지만 맛은 별로였어요. 샤워부스에 샤워기가 너무 높이 달려있어 조금 불편했어요. 그 외 공항셔틀 서비스나 다른 접객 서비스는 친절하고 좋았습니다. 다음날 아침에 푸동공항으로 이동하기에는 편리한 숙소입니다.

I really was impressed with how clean and Fresh my room was every evening when we returned. The breakfast was excellent too. And the staff very accommodating. I would love to stay here again. And this is coming from someone who has stayed at a Hilton hotel in Chongqing for over a month.

I had not noticed that the window was opened till the next morning. The noise of the big warehouse located in front of the window made me waken up though the might.

There was a little line upon check in, but every employee that I encountered was very nice and hospitable. The shuttle from the airport was quick, organized and clean. The free breakfast was traditional Chinese, and also had western options for my picky eating kids. Beds were soft, and room was spacious. For a week long trip with my kids, I have nothing but good words and sentiments. Thank you employee 245 and 218 for servicing our rooms!! Thank you for making our stay amazing!!

Really nice hotel. Let down by the room we were in facing warehouse facility with all that entails. Would I stay again? Absolutely

A bit further from the metro station, I have to change to a bus to get there. Everything was good, but the air conditioning was too noisy. I have to switch it off to fall asleep.

10 mins taxi away from the nearest subway station is it's convenient but not walkable. Airport shuttles are nice, and the breakfast is decent. The room felt a bit old, and had a moldy smell when we arrived. Turning on the AC helped getting rid of the smell. There is cigarette ash stuck in one of the cups near the dresser despite it being a smoke free room. Overall pleasant enough for an airport hotel.

Very nice and clean room, looks like it has been recently renovated. A few reviews said about aircraft noise. Yes, there were a few infrequent and the provided earplugs have no use. Fortunately aircraft noise didn’t last into late night and had a good sleep. The airport shuttle bus was on time. There isn’t very much around the hotel. The hotel restaurant was the only choice. The inclusive breakfast starts at 05:30 with decent choices of Chinese and Western food.

Decent value. Close to the airport but not much else. Rooms were a bit cramped. Had a bit of smoky smell, so could have been more thoroughly cleaned.

Well maintained hotel but the breakfast choices aren’t as good as it used to be compared to 4 years ago. Room is comfortable, cozy, and quiet. It’s so convenient to go to the airport.

All good and convenient, but staff dont speak good english, mis communications happens

Staff with badge numbers 249, 233 and 255 were helpful during our stay and checkin. Staff with badge number 249 I believe, was very helpful and helped us with our baggages

The room was very clean, the staff was courteous, and the free breakfast in the morning was excellent. They also called me in the morning to remind me of my shuttle to the airport.

What an amazing experience such helpful staff.

The young men working at the entrance door were great and much easier to deal with during my stay. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and very pleasant. The people at the check-in desk were less friendly, maybe because of our language barrier. The airport shuttle was very good and convenient. I was disappointed that there was nowhere near the hotel where could shop.

We stayed in Shanghai Deco Hotel on August 27-28. During that night, we need to see a doctor due to emergency. The front desk immediately arranged the hotel driver to send us to the hospital and the driver (Mr. Gong) gave us a big help for us. We also can catch the flight in the early morning. Shanghai Deco Hotel gave us the professional and warmest help. We appreciate their excellent service.

Good room and bathroom, polite staff. Around 15 minute drive from the airport and not close to any good public transport options, so location looks better on the map than it is in reality. Other than that we had a good experience.

A great place to stay. Very close to the airport and metro (15mins) with a free hourly shuttle bus. We used that service to visit the tourists sites in the city - very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious and breakfast was excellent. It is in a semi industrial area but it’s only a 20min walk to shops snd restaurants if you need them. The hotel restaurant suited us well with a good menu and inexpensive. We would stay again

Convenient to outlet and airport.

The shuttle, which luckily was waiting at the time I was at the airport, and left on scheduled time in the morning, is a real plus. Approx. 20 mins drive from airport. Good value, good service.

Love staying here. Continent shuttle from PVG. Short cab ride to Shanghai metro if you want to get into the city. Staff (especially 219 223 cleaning lady) is so helpful. Only downside is that you pretty much need to take a taxi to find food or shopping options. Not very convenient to walk around the hotel.

Located in the middle of nowhere, not very clean (but not particularly dirty) no access to food, restaurants or transit, and still not actually that close to the airport. Would not stay here again.

住宿環境不錯, 房間大致清潔整齊 員工有禮樂於助人 早餐選擇偏中式味道不錯 又有機場接送服務 唯地點實在偏遠, 出外灘等地打車都要一小時 連去附近地鐵站都要打車 只適合轉機人士小住一兩晚

This is a good place for an overnight stay between flights. I have to say the food at dinner was first class.

An average hotel with short distance to PVG. 10 min with shuttle bus from the airport. The hotel has a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

Ubicación correcta pero no hay nada alrededor. El traslado al aeropuerto es correcto. Pero llegué y el restaurante estaba cerrado. El desayuno solo comida de china.
