This was an area we were unfamiliar with and we really enjoyed all the amenities the property offered. Bikes to check out, pickleball, pool, gym, very large rooms to stay, soft beds, we have 4 kids and fit comfortably and enjoyed all the activities together. Very friendly and helpful staff. Full kitchen save us hundreds allowing us to visit the nearby grocery store and make meals for our family of 6 at the hotel while we played games and watched shows together.

The rooms are in great condition. The pool areas are well kept and clean. The racquet club has many activities included in the price of the stay. The surrounding scenery is very nice. For the price, it would be difficult to find something of comparable quality in Southern California.

We had a great visit! The two pools each had a hot tub, I used the gym and sauna, weather was perfect (warmer in land) kitchen and room worked perfectly for us. Loved grilling by the pool. Pickleball and basketball were fun things we did with our kiddos also!

It was a nice resort, super kid friendly. Our room was spacious and the amenities were great. Loved that complimentary laundry machines and bike rentals. Kids had fun at the racquet ball club paying pickle ball. Only downside was town was about 15/20 mins away but the quiet relaxing resort was worth it and we Definitely will come back!

It was amazing! WiFi, gym, pool, living room, kitchen etc. it was truly a comfortable and gorgeous stay. We wanted to stay longer, but they were completely sold out!

The staff was friendly and kind. Parking was nice. Kitchen was fine. Nice refrigerator wish there was a Keurig machine. Cleanliness was okay the bathroom floor had hair all over! Major updates needed mildew on the bathroom looks like they try to paint over it. The carpet so stained! And smells so musty so the drapes need a cleaning. The bed was very clean and comfy. It’s very spacious and a nice patio.

Love the Ramona area. The shower pressure was great. Lots of room. There were cobwebs above the bed and in the livingroom and around the frame of the bathroom door. It’s just a bit old and tired. But we will stay again.

The location is great, Ramona is a super cute town, the hills around the resort are beautiful, and the common areas of the resort are kept up well. However, our unit was not well cared for. Chipping paint on the walls, spots on the walls, but the worst part was the smell. My husband said it must have belonged at some point to a smoker, I felt like it was probably mold. It was overpowering and our clothes came home smelling of it. It was really sad because otherwise everything was lovely. Perhaps you can ask for a unit without carpet or of they have any that have been updated. At least I can advise you not to stay in 422.

This is a great resort for families as everything is included; all activities are free except the spa and lessons at the tennis courts. The kitchen was fully stocked for a family of 4 with a full stove, microwave, and refrigerator.

The property is a good value for what it is. You have a small condo complete with kitchen and fireplace. The rooms are dated and are worn, but they are clean. You really can’t find a better deal for a condo rental in the area.

Just stayed one night- nice large room in good condition- super quiet!!!!! So much so we overslept a bit. Service at the counter was excellent. We live somewhat local but if we needed to stay in Ramona again we would definitely return.

Check-in was not until 4PM and Checkout was early, at 10AM. We called the front desk to inquire about getting a later checkout and were denied. As Expedia VIP members, we are used to 1 PM check outs and some type of VIP gift or service but receive nothing.. the property itself was fine and clean. But did not meet our expectations.

We like staying here because it has full kitchen and it as everything you need when you travel with kids and full family. I just don’t like that is a Hilton now and it’s not remodeled like it should be. They have been doing little upgrades like the chairs for dinning table but not glass table. And the night we stayed our unit lost power so we had to move out of our room in the middle of the night. And yea they gave another room but it was too much moving my stuff in the middle of night. And front desk or manager never reach out to us in the morning to say sorry for the inconvenience or at least refund my money.

Nice fast, easy check in and out. Friendly staff greeted me and explained the resort area and answered my questions. Nice quiet room with all amenities for a great stay. They also have additional items available for use. The bed was very comfortable and bedroom had plenty of storage space. The furniture looks a little dated but still very nice. Two Sliding glass doors to let in fresh air and light.

We had a couple minor hiccups in the beginning but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. Rooms have more then enough space and the pool area was perfect for our family to hang out in.

The check in staff was the best . We checked out and left my meds Tom made sure when I called a hour later that they were still in the room to pick up . All of them where so helpful in our 17 day stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Riviera Oaks Resort. It's a beautiful drive from San Diego so we didn't mind the commute. The rooms very very spacious and clean. It was great to have a full kitchen. I would highly recommend this place. Great for families.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to trails and hiking opportunities. The nearby town is just few miles away and the scenic drive through the mountains is memorable. Friendly staff and great service. Rooms were spacious and ideal for a couple or family vacation.

Nice and quiet property! Room was spacious and clean. Private patio was larger than expected and was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or breakfast on the morning on. Pool was relaxing and clean. Not busy while we were there. BBQs available to use as well! I wish we planned better and brought our own meals and snacks as there is nothing available on the property. Town and restaurants are 5-10 minute drive. Wineries about 10 minute drive as well. Great for families! Recommend staying here!

Great place to stay outside of San Diego. Very picturesque location and easy drive to city and other area of interest…… although you can check out extra items for the studio apartment it lacked cooking utensils, cutlery and dining items with just about enough to make do. Apart from that would highly recommend the resort.

This is a great resort for families as everything is included; all activities are free except the spa and lessons at the tennis courts. The kitchen was fully stocked for a family of 4 with a full stove, microwave, and refrigerator.

Beautiful location, very spacious one bedroom apartment, fully furnished large balcony, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable large bed, spacious bathroom. A lot of amenities , tennis courts, fitness center, laundry, easy parking on premises. Highly recommend this property when visiting Ramona Valley.

Location near the mountains is beautiful. Kinda old though. Has that “old” smell. Like old carpet, old furniture type of smell. But I think it’s more a structural thing, it’s just outdated, but not that it’s not well maintained. Would also be good if it had its own small restaurant or cafe in the property.

We really liked the home-like feel. Having the opportunity to have a full kitchen and room for the whole family of 5 made it a great overall stay. The staff was very friendly and fast when we requested more towels or anything.

Many available activities - we did the tennis clinic, played pickleball, played billiards, and swam in the heated pool. Only downside is no dining options on site and very few nearby. There are some restaurants in Ramona about 15 minutes away.

Nice and quiet property! Room was spacious and clean. Private patio was larger than expected and was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or breakfast on the morning on. Pool was relaxing and clean. Not busy while we were there. BBQs available to use as well! I wish we planned better and brought our own meals and snacks as there is nothing available on the property. Town and restaurants are 5-10 minute drive. Wineries about 10 minute drive as well. Great for families! Recommend staying here!

The units are somewhat dated but have been refreshed with newer furniture and were clean upon arrival. There was no housekeeping service during our week long stay but they were quick to provide fresh towels when needed. No broom or working vacuum which would have been helpful. No smart TV and no ceiling fans which we missed. Staff was very friendly and offered a list of available DVDs or the lounge TV viewing area if we really wanted to stream something special. Pool was clean and pleasant. The easy laundry room access was a plus. Kitchen seemed minimally stocked but adequate for our needs (except no blender). There is a nice walking trail right outside the resort and plenty of activities near by-pickle ball and tennis, golf, great hiking.

This is our third time staying here. We love how spacious the units are and that they have most of the amenities you need for the kitchen and bathroom. The ice buckets are missing the plastic liners (we washed ours with soap and water beforehand) and the ice machine is not convenient to access at all, but that's minor. The biggest complaint is that on Sundays the activities/access to the recreation areas end at 5 pm. We were only there 2 nights, Sunday being one of them, and it seems to me that a lot of people would be there on a Sunday night for a long weekend, so maybe closing early -- if it has to happen at all -- should be on a Monday or Tuesday night? Otherwise we find the area to be peaceful and relaxing. We'll be back! FYI: if you need urgent care or an emergency dept, as someone in our group did, you are not close to those kinds of facilities. The Ramona urgent care isn't open at all on Sundays (& may have limited hours Mon-Sat), so you could be a minimum of a half hour away from any kind of urgent/emergency care.
