Second stay at Champlain Motel with my husband and our dog. Prompt and friendly service. We were upgraded to a larger room with a kitchenette at no extra charge. Comfortable beds. Very clean and I always appreciate when hotel/motel rooms does not have carpet. We enjoyed the use of the Barbeque they provided for their guest.

This unassuming motor hotel had a small kitchenette, and dining area in the room. The room and bathroom were clean, and a/c worked well. Despite being on a main street we did not hear any noise. Staff was very nice and welcoming.

For a budget motel, it’s pretty good, and from what I hear from the locals, it’s the best budget motel in the area. The walls in my room were pretty thin, I could hear muffled conversations of the couple staying next-door, and there were a few minor repairs needed in the room. A portion of the wall next to the tub needs to be repaired and there’s a few minor, aesthetic concerns, but besides that, it’s an OK place. My room had an actual full-size fridge in it, which isn’t something you see a lot in budget motels. And the beds were comfortable. I got a good night sleep. And I guess in the end, that’s all that matters.

Très interessant comme option d'hébergement. Ce Motor Inn a été rénové et tout est propre et fonctionnel. Frigo, cafétière, micro ondes, planche à repasser mais pas de fer. Il est très bien entretenu.

I spilled some water on the floor in front of the fridge so I wiped it up with toilet paper and the paper was black after wiping. We took a walk around to the backyard and it looked like a sketchy area. Operators were very pleasant and helpful. It was quiet mostly because of good neighbours.

Our room was updated which was great, however still smelt badly of old stale smoke. I’m sensitive to smells so unfortunately we only ended up staying 1 of 2 nights.

The motel is very well kept. Our room was clean, and offered everything we needed. The staff was also very helpful and made sure we were comfortable. It was a pleasant stay and I wouldn't hesitate staying there again. Excellent accommodation for the price.

Very disappointed! Upon arriving at the motel our King bed room that we reserved and paid for was not available. Waking the next morning went to take shower and we only had one bath towel for two people , front desk people weren’t available to get another towel. Very noisy air conditioner. Rooms were clean and the area was nice.

Stayed in room with 2 queen beds. At night, traffic was minimal so it was very quiet, also didn’t hear anyone on either side of us. Staff was extremely friendly, made sure we were looked after. Rooms were recently renovated. Beds very comfortable. Best motel I’ve ever stayed in, would be happy to stay again.

I have stayed twice in this hotel this year, both for business trip. Without being extra luxurious, it really does the trick, is comfortable and clean. I travel a lot for work and it is one of the hotels you love on the road, short and sweet to check in, still has a decent price in this economy, has what you need, etc. Will book there again if I come to pembrooke in the future or recommend to friends and coworkers.

The owners are very lovely! Friendly and I observed them speaking to someone before me and they were again very kind and lovely ! They want to help make your stay the best and more than once told “if there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to ask” I was there for 3 nights , beds lovely , rooms clean… only a bit of musty smell , but the hotel is not brand new… but has been updated! I am very pleased and will definitely return

Very nice people managing motel. Very clean spacious room and comfortable beds. Very clean bathroom. Great location close to Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park with beautiful pine trees and nice frogs. Close to Island view drive where you can watch sunset over Ottawa River. I will be back for sure.

Very nice and newly renovated. The only thing is when you went to sit on the toilet it wasn't bolted in and would wobble .Everything else was nice and clean and you were close to mostly everything.

Exactly as advertised. The room we booked turned out to be the room from the advertisements and it was the exact same. We came up looking for a safe dependable place while going to a friend's wedding. It was perfect for us. The staff are excellent and on top of everything. Thanks so much.

I was looking for a hotel that was clean, well maintained, and good value. The Champlain Inn exceeded on all three counts. Every part of the property from the hotel room and bathroom, to the reception area, to the grounds, were clean, tidy and in excellent repair. It was clear that there was pride of ownership. A word of caution for anyone looking for a hotel with amenities; there are none at the Champlain Inn. Moreover, the rooms may be tidy and clean, but they are not opulent. The beds, however, are very comfortable and you will enjoy a good night's sleep.

I was looking for a hotel that was clean, well maintained, and good value. The Champlain Inn exceeded on all three counts. Every part of the property from the hotel room and bathroom, to the reception area, to the grounds, were clean, tidy and in excellent repair. It was clear that there was pride of ownership. A word of caution for anyone looking for a hotel with amenities; there are none at the Champlain Inn. Moreover, the rooms may be tidy and clean, but they are not opulent.
