Full two stars as rated, older building needs refresh but room was clean. No elevator for second floor, a bit of a hike for higher numbered rooms.

Was biking through on the trail so the hotel with a comfy bed and a shower was a welcome stop. They did allow us to keep our bikes with us in the room which I appreciated. The breakfast was pretty non-existent ( had oatmeal, cereal and 1 type of granola bar, that was it). It was quiet though. It was pretty clean. Bathroom had some peeling paint, but it appeared they did attempt to make improvements.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Front desk was helpful. So nice to allow our clean bikes in the room thanks to your outside hose. Appreciated the hot water, heater and warm dry bed. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.👍

Good room, good value for price paid. Liked being able to park right outside our room. The a/c was a little tricky to keep a constant temperature. Breakfast left something to be desired. Little town of Hancock is cute to dive or walk through.

Old hotel was best I could find in Hancock. I’d probably travel to Berkeley Springs the next time. No major problems. The check-in staff was friendly just not a lot around the hotel/area and really old facility with zero amenities. They did provide a hose/towels for our bikes which was super nice.

Milessa at the counter was great.for thoes of you who come to ride on the fantastic bike trail, the hotel has no problem allowing you to bring your bikes into your room.

They had a bike wash, we greatly appreciated having clean bikes for our next days ride. Plus, they had towels for us to dry off the bikes. Only place along the trail that offered this.

It's kind of a dump. The interior is dingy, with stained carpets in the hallway and scuffed woodwork in the room. The shower faucet handle came off in my hand. The hallway has a funky smell. The breakfast is pitiful, with moldy packaged danish and no fresh fruit. Security for the front desk was great with the clerk behind plexiglas, but for the rest of the building nonexistent. The AC unit was noisy. The window screens are tattered, and the hallway and parking lot lights shine right under the door and window. By Hancock PA standards it's probably about as good as you'd expect, but overall really meh.

The sheets, floors, and bathroom were clean but there was a terrible cat urine smell that you couldn't get used to. The air conditioning unit worked well but made a terrible screeching sound in the middle of the night when it reached its temperature and the filter was disgusting. Furniture and bed comforters were stained. Didn't sleep well and left as soon as we woke up. Seriously the smell was so bad. Saw a cat in the window of the next room over on our way out. Wondering if that little cutie was the culprit.

The building shows its age. The mildew in the bathroom tiles shows poor cleanliness, the exhausted batteries in the TV remote showed carelessness, the exhausted batteries provided by the front desk, showed their "I don't give a damn attitude. The miserable choices of channels on the TV proved that you get less than you pay for. You will probably find better choices in Berkeley Springs, WV six Miles south on this motel.

Room was clean, good water pressure and didn't hear the highway noise. Hallway and the room smelled like wet dogs. Carpet odor remover only helped a little. The bathroom door has to remain close due to being in the way of the door for the room. Had a strong sewer smell had to make sure the shower drain was completely closed after showering to reduce the smell.

At check in I was told that the room that I paid for wasn't avaliable. I then was placed in a handicap room. The room was clean but the windows were broken and wouldn't lock, the bathtub had a massive crack in the bottom of it, the tv would work occasionally. Room key had to be changed 4 or 5 time in the 2 nights we stayed.

Older property that needs updated. It was clean . Served the purpose for a quick overnight stay. My king size was new and very comfortable. TV was a streaming type. It was very difficult to get regular programming. Channel guide and directions that were not on tv would have been nice. Just wanted to watch a football game on CBS. Never was able to find it.

The motel is older. My family stayed there about 12 years ago for a local family event. And, I recently stayed there for an extended family event. The place, although worn, remains clean. The room it’s self has bumps and bruises, chipped paint on the trim, wall patches in the bathroom, yet everything was functional… plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, Bed/bedding was fresh, and comfortable. I was very disappointed in the advertised breakfast, coffee, milk, OJ, and carbs that are found down the street at the local “Sheetz”.

Good place convienent to both hagerstown and cumberland the 2 places we went over the weekend. Being downstairs you can hear some people upstairs moving around sometime. Maybe kids jumping off the bed who knows. By the evening it was quiet. Door to hotel room and bathroom door had large gaps almost big enough to stick your hand through and more importantly let light and noise in the room. Not a deal breaker just something i noticed when compared to other places.

It had a very limited breakfast, with no hot water for tea, no paper napkins for cleaning up the tables, very limited menu. The hotel rooms did not have any tissues, the shower handle was not fastened and came off in your hand.

over 20 minutes to check in after waitin 10 minutes for gal in front of me to get checked in. I was prepaid thru Orbitz and had my computer receipt from Orbitz and his computer showed I was prepaid. But guy at desk was new and just learning. Computer problems too with card reader. Long time on phone with his boss Mike Patel. New guy Jason seemed sincere but was overwhelmed. He couldn't get it all to work, but since I was prepaid I suggested he just give me my room key, which he finally did.

Completed online check-in, had to repeat the same process with front desk when i arrived. Upon arrival we were informed there were only 2 rooms available, even though we had booked ahead. 1 room had a broken door, the other had a broken TV. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, even in the "non-smoking" areas. We asked for a discount given the circumstances and never received a discount or any sort of communication from the front desk. The only good thing I can say is that the room was quiet, making it easy to rest after a long day of traveling.

Hard to find being buried under a three-way Intersection of Interstate highways going N, E and W . Should put up signs with the Super-8 emblem to help people to find it. It took me two hours and about 35 miles to finally get on the right road in Hancock where it is located. NEEDS road side signage with arrows!

Hotel was right off the highway. It was comfortable quiet and inexpensive. Breakfast was slim but did the job. The hotel is nothing fancy but works if you are riding the trail and dont want to camp. Easy access to the trail.

Hotel was right off the highway. It was comfortable quiet and inexpensive. Breakfast was slim but did the job. The hotel is nothing fancy but works if you are riding the trail and dont want to camp. Easy access to the trail.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Quiet location. We were there on business (in Berkeley Springs WV) and the drive is a convenient 15 minutes. The breakfast is minimal. We will definitely return next year.

Good room, good value for price paid. Liked being able to park right outside our room. The a/c was a little tricky to keep a constant temperature. Breakfast left something to be desired. Little town of Hancock is cute to dive or walk through.

Simple, clean, well-priced accommodations we stayed at (both times upstairs) on the way to and from our ultimate destinations. There was some noise overnight from the highway, but it was intermittent. We missed out on the breakfast (just slim pickings by the time we got downstairs), but discovered a great diner about 10 min away by foot, the Potomac River Grill.

Simple, clean, well-priced accommodations we stayed at (both times upstairs) on the way to and from our ultimate destinations. Breakfast was two bins of cereal, one was empty. Then there were some hostess cakes that were broken up. Staff was pleasant and recommended a local spot. I’d suggest cutting the breakfast offering altogether rather than promising breakfast and only having a single kind of cereal, no fruit or anything to go with it. My room was ok and the property was quiet. Grimy doors and could use recaulking around the sink but the linens were clean and bed was fine.

The motel is older. My family stayed there about 12 years ago for a local family event. And, I recently stayed there for an extended family event. The place, although worn, remains clean. The room it’s self has bumps and bruises, chipped paint on the trim, wall patches in the bathroom, yet everything was functional… plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, Bed/bedding was fresh, and comfortable. I was very disappointed in the advertised breakfast, coffee, milk, OJ, and carbs that are found down the street at the local “Sheetz”.

It had a very limited breakfast, with no hot water for tea, no paper napkins for cleaning up the tables, very limited menu. The hotel rooms did not have any tissues, the shower handle was not fastened and came off in your hand.

No refrigerator in the room. Tv service was horrible or should I simply say there wasn't any service. All it did was "buffer" the entire time. What they called a breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, and frosted flakes. Could not understand the person at the front desk. Between accent and mumbling. Was bare footed and feet were black from dirt in the carpet. If it had not been so late, I would have went to another hotel. Doubt I stay at Wyndham hotels again until something is changed to compensate me for a horrible night.

Completed online check-in, had to repeat the same process with front desk when i arrived. Upon arrival we were informed there were only 2 rooms available, even though we had booked ahead. 1 room had a broken door, the other had a broken TV. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, even in the "non-smoking" areas. We asked for a discount given the circumstances and never received a discount or any sort of communication from the front desk. The only good thing I can say is that the room was quiet, making it easy to rest after a long day of traveling.

The mold in the bath tub was tough to deal with. The VERY poor breakfast was just like not having any. The coffee was colored water. NO protein, not even yogurt. The staff answered questions but had no power to bring out any other foods.

The staff here were very good. The rooms however left a lot to be desired. I found a bug on my pillow. On top of the fitted sheet were some small, hard black things that could have been bugs or rat turds. The bathroom was gross. The sink was a sunken sink and there was mold around the rim of the porcelain part of the sink. There was mold in the caulk that went around the edge of the bathtub. I will say the shower curtain looked brand new. The bottom of the shower sunk in when I stepped on it. I was afraid I was going to fall through the shower floor. The window locks were PVC pipe in the window track. I was all around disappointed with the place. I would not suggest staying here.
