We were pleasantly surprised! From the outside, it doesn't look like much. It even seemed a little scary in the parking garage. Once inside, (after getting off the elevator) we walked into a wonderfully well kept hallway that looked and smelled fresh and clean. The room was very clean, updated and cozy. There was great care making the room clean and comfy. There was quite a bit of construction happening around the property (Oct 2023) so it was noisy in the morning and the streets were tricky to navigate.

This property, though conveniently located to my customers and the Hwy, had broken tvs, 1/2 painted rooms and an out of commission ice machine on the second floor. Sadly many homeless/unhoused people around the property, making me nervous for my car. I will not be staying here again

Hotel is on the main road in Eureka. Noise is to be expected. The checkin experience was ok. The front desk staff was not rude, nor friendly, kind of just going through the motions. The room was notably dated. Old appliances, damaged trim, balcony door was difficult to open. Ice machine was not working for the first two days of my stay and asking them daily about it. Had they put the minimal effort, they would have realized that all they had to do was turn it on. Woke up to transients on the property and side walk in front of the hotel several times. As I was returning to the hotel with pizza one night, had a homeless person ask me for pizza in one of the stairways leading up to my room which is accessible from the public. Fitness center is basically just a treadmill, yoga mat, free weights, and some medicine balls that I didn’t even really have room to use. I like this hotels location but I would probably try a different place if I did it again.

We had a problem with tv trying to get closed captioning to work by staff. No success. That tv was an older model (Panasonic). So staff decided to move us to another hotel room that it has a newer TV that works in closed captioning. We were happy on it. Still great service! Thank you!

Area was weird due to homeless in the area. But have security to access the hotel and car garage closed the gates over night. Stayed 2 nights and was a very great stay.

Most of the room was ok and updated. There was long hairs still on the bathroom floor when we got in. The flip metal door blocker had the flip part broken off, so it was unusable. The hall and elevator lobby area smelled of weed despite the “this hotel is a non-smoking hotel” sign in the elevator lobby. The two rooms across from ours didn’t have the individual non-smoking signs on the door, so perhaps someone took advantage.

Hotel & Rooms definitely need updating. Bare minimum hotel. Rooms facing the street are very loud. The sliding door was unlocked when we arrived at the room and the second lock on the slider was broken. You could hear the street noise thru the sliding door even when it was closed and locked.

My 13 y/o daughter and i stayed here this past weekend for a coastal getaway. We were awakened around 10pm when our room filled with marajuana smoke. When i told the front desk they said all rooms are nonsmoking but there is nothing they can do. I will never stat here again

during my stay I was helped by 2 different people the lady who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. The gentleman who helped me did not seem to be aware that I had already paid to extend my stay and kept trying to get me to sign additional documents, including the receipt I brought to show him I had already paid for the additional night. He wanted me to sign me receipt and give it to him.

Hotel isn't bad but there's alot of sketchy people that hang out around the hotel and wander into the parking area. Hotel staff didn't appreciate my expressing my concerns about the safety of our vehicle yet they stay behind a closed door and talk to you through a speaker unless they need to assist you in person which confirms my concerns about the area

Area was weird due to homeless in the area. But have security to access the hotel and car garage closed the gates over night. Stayed 2 nights and was a very great stay.

Homeless and strangers hanging out in parking lots, we left early because we did not feel safe. Charged us extra for our pet once we arrived but never said anything about it on the website or booking it. There wasn’t a continental breakfast either. Would never stay again.

The rims are big comfortable and clean that smells so good ,the breakfast just the basic on the front office,the area is not the best that’s why the 4 Stars but I’ll stayed there again they have a lot of security cameras around

The property has a lot of foot traffic around it, and is not in a particularly upscale part of town. I didn't like that there wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed. I also didn't like that the doors all had to be opened by hand, which is difficult when trying to manage luggage, and I imagine would be very difficult to manage as someone handicapped or with kids.
