Property was dirty and run down. Pool empty and closed permanently. Carpeting at the top of the stairs (no elevator) was coming up and I almost tripped on it. Exterior doors never locked. Advertises brekfast but extremely limited choices.

Definitely a traveling worker hotel. Came with a larger group for a family event. Nice and courteous staff. The doors no longer used the key card to open the doors. Pipe was broken for pool, which was a multi year issue. Rooms were decently clean.

The room is fairly clean. The property has no security. The dors of the building are opened at all time for everyone to walk in freely. The pool has been out of service for more than 2 years with seemingly no plans to fix it. This property should not be advertised as having a pool.

Staff was very friendly. Room clean & spacious. The only unfortunate thing is website says indoor pool but the pool hasn't been working for 5 yrs. They have asked corporate to update website numerous times but hasn't happened yet.

Says they have a pool, yet it isn’t in service. Says they have a blow dryer in the room, can’t even get one at the front desk. The woman working the front desk was really nice. Bed was very uncomfortable.

The room (107) smelled when we walked in and it was not a pleasant smell. The carpet had a big red stain right in front of the tv stand and it was dirty and worn out. The shower curtain was moldy and the water in the shower continued to leak throughout our stay. The indoor pool was drained out and there was a bicycle parked right next to it. The whole place is worn out and in need for a major facelift.

This is an older hotel. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator was older but still worked well. The chairs are stained but that’s expected in an older hotel. The beds were firm. The air conditioner worked! The breakfast was adequate but not special: bread with butter or jelly, waffles, yogurt, cherrios or Frosted Flakes, bananas, coffee, OJ or apple juice, pre-packaged cinnamon rolls (like little Debbie type). Ice maker worked! They don’t clean your room while you are there. My only complaints were that the doors to get into the building weren’t locked. Anyone could come and go without a key card. This hotel is in a quiet location that is near restaurants and shopping areas. Tv worked. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work but I only tried once and then gave up. The swimming pool is out of order and they do say that on their website.

The first thing I had to do was rinse hair down the drain in the shower. The tub/shower dripped constantly/the showerhead squirted all over the place, not just where it was aimed/the wall beside the toilet looked like someone had vomited on it & it was just wiped down. Only one lamp was workable because the prongs were bent on the other. Next to the backside of the entertainment center, there was a cluster of cords & wires & an orange extension cord. I really didn't feel real safe with that. One thing that was good was the beds were comfy.

The property needs a proper clean up of all carpets and enforcement of rules not to smoke within door's proximity. Inside property you can smell urine and uncomfortable smells, I had no choice due to entire town being booked out fir a large event.

The tub and shower curtain should have been cleaner. The freezer needed defrosting and a previous guest left food in the freezer that I tossed. No clock in the room. Very loud.

Was very dissappinted in this location. Every place was super high in Madison, so found this gem so I thought. But turns out was a night mare. The first room we were in we couldn't get the tv to work but roommate was filthy, there was like a thick steak if dirt that was black i thought it was black mold but was just dirt. My boyfriend later told me the place was covered in shower webs so thank God i didn't have my glasses in our if have freaked out as I'm totally deathly afraid of them. Then we switch rooms the bathroom tin had a thick layer of crime in bottom of tub. Both bed spreads looked stained and needed washing we didn't even want to get under the covers but sheets looked a bit ɓetter then the top cover and lord knows last time that was washed. Slept fully clothed with my sweater on and didn't cover up. We had the place 2 nights.... we barely made it 1. Left in morning never returned. Don't recommend

I'll never stay at this place again. It's unbelievable I paid $100 for this room. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, from the halls to the rooms. When I entered my room, the musty smell indicated it had been smoked in. The bathroom was dirty, forcing me to use hand towels to clean the toilet and shower. The bathroom fan was excessively loud, and there was no toilet paper until I asked the housekeeper. The sheets on one bed had a black stain, so I slept on the other bed. Despite being in town for a quick meeting and not using the room much, cleaning the bathroom was a major inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone; even a Motel 6 would've been cleaner. (I also have timestamped photos as evidence.)

Room didn't have an extra chair in room. Only one was a desk chair. Older hotel, not sure if it is smoke free as there was a cigarette burn hole in bed spread.

Walls are super thin and you can literally hear everything in the room next door. I thought someone was using my bathroom in the middle of the night but they were actually in the room next door. The bath fan sounded like a chain saw and the light in the bathroom was just 2 exposed light bulbs and a bare fan motor that I could see.

Horrible! Refund please!! Refrigerator kept us up all night. While check in was fine and the room was clean the noisy fridge managed to let us sleep for about 2 hours after a long day. Really not a good experience and really would like a refund.

Well, it’s old. We just wanted a cheap place to sleep and shower on a quick golf trip to the area. The room was non-smoking but there was a smoke smell on everything. The AC cooled fairly well but did not take any humidity out of the room. The bed was old and not comfortable at all. I didn’t see a pool mentioned in the description but there is one in the pictures. It’s empty, it’s closed and doesn’t look like it will be open again. Staff was the positive of this stay. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and informed us the breakfast details. When we returned on day 2 I asked for a couple more towels and the lady working that night jumped up and got them. Very nice.

We stayed 3 night. The room we had was recently renovated with new carpet and paint, it looked amazing! Sadly, the recliner that was in the room was broken and did not recline, but it was very comfortable to sit in! Just a few small things that could be improved, but overall a great stay

My overall experience was fair… The hotel was shabby for the price I paid. All of my towels were stained and smelled burnt from the dryer… I have bad knees and a bad back there were no elevators just stairs… All of the stairwells smelled horrible… for the price of the rooms the breakfast could have been better… Amy and the cleaning lady were very nice and helpful but the Indian lady at the reception desk during the week was rude… She never greeted anyone, she never checked on anyone, she never asked how anyone was doing or if anyone needed anything… The pictures online were deceitful…

Building looks old/ dated. Read previous reviews about pool not being in use and it was still not in use when I was there. Breakfast was very minimal. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Staff was very friendly. Room clean & spacious. The only unfortunate thing is website says indoor pool but the pool hasn't been working for 5 yrs. They have asked corporate to update website numerous times but hasn't happened yet.

Well, it’s old. We just wanted a cheap place to sleep and shower on a quick golf trip to the area. The room was non-smoking but there was a smoke smell on everything. The AC cooled fairly well but did not take any humidity out of the room. The bed was old and not comfortable at all. I didn’t see a pool mentioned in the description but there is one in the pictures. It’s empty, it’s closed and doesn’t look like it will be open again. Staff was the positive of this stay. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and informed us the breakfast details. When we returned on day 2 I asked for a couple more towels and the lady working that night jumped up and got them. Very nice.

The hotel is older and it shows, There were some odd stains on the covering of one of the beds that made my son a bit uneasy but the beds were comfortable. The lady that checked us in was very nice. Told us at checkin that the cleaning lady had broken her foot. We were just passing through and it served our needs. The lock on the side door coming in from outside didn't seem to work. Wee entered without using our key card.

No ice machine which the front desk staff had to ask another staff about. No hair dryer. Asked for a plunger for a clogged toilet and a different staff person looked in only one closet and said "sorry, we dont have one." No action to remedy the situation. I'd stay again but would bring my own hair dryer and ice (and plunger.) It was very quiet and it was clean.

This is an older hotel. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator was older but still worked well. The chairs are stained but that’s expected in an older hotel. The beds were firm. The air conditioner worked! The breakfast was adequate but not special: bread with butter or jelly, waffles, yogurt, cherrios or Frosted Flakes, bananas, coffee, OJ or apple juice, pre-packaged cinnamon rolls (like little Debbie type). Ice maker worked! They don’t clean your room while you are there. My only complaints were that the doors to get into the building weren’t locked. Anyone could come and go without a key card. This hotel is in a quiet location that is near restaurants and shopping areas. Tv worked. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work but I only tried once and then gave up. The swimming pool is out of order and they do say that on their website.

Property was dirty and run down. Pool empty and closed permanently. Carpeting at the top of the stairs (no elevator) was coming up and I almost tripped on it. Exterior doors never locked. Advertises brekfast but extremely limited choices.

Well, The place is outdated, the chair in the room is broken. Water pressure was low, no swimming pool. Pool has been closed for sometime without any notification to the customer, and breakfast was horrible. Very tiny room for the amount of people that was in the hotel.

The hotel is pretty run down. The pool was out of order. The juice machine didn't work at breakfast. The bathroom door in the room looked like someone had knocked it down and then it had been hastily reattached. Not a great spot of kids. We switched hotels after one night. The one upside was the staff were helpful and understanding.

Building looks old/ dated. Read previous reviews about pool not being in use and it was still not in use when I was there. Breakfast was very minimal. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Clean and comfortable and a good value compared with other nearby hotels. Typical breakfast options, both hot and cold; sitting area very clean and tidy. Would choose again for overall value.

The front desk staff was very nice, temperature of rooms were nice, beds were very comfortable. I questioned if the room was cleaned prior too as used wash cloth was hanging in shower, floor of room was sticky. Toilet paper holder was broken. Property was ok but the clientelle that hang around hotel were interesting. I assume guests, hung outside hotel and drank 12 packs of beer and were smoking funny stuff. My room was on that side so they were also loud however, not late. When someone took a shower in adjoining and above rooms, my room was loud. It was a low star hotel but for the couple nights I needed it worked out fine - slept well as great comfy beds.

This place is a dump. The floor was dirty, the toilet was loose from the floor, the noise was atrocious. The person in the room above had a pet and could hear the claws from the pet clicking on the floor all night.
