Pool appears to not have been open for a very long time, which is fine as long as there is no advertisement for one. They put us in a previously smoking room and the stench is still strongly smelled. When we asked to be moved they tried to argue with us but eventually moved us. The second room could not be dead bolted and none of the lamps worked in the room (only the vanity light) The owners appear to live on site and have a cat. There is a smell of litter box by the stairs. Washer and dryer in the laundry room are dirty and bugs were on the floor.

No elevator for handicap travelers. Pretty run down hotel. Could use a facelift. Very noisy, thin walls. Like the separate toilet/bathtub and sink areas. Okay place for a one night stay. When I checked in, I had a lady drive up and tell me not to stay there. She claimed her daughter just stayed there and they had roaches. I didn’t see any.

This was awful. Nobody spoke English, room door was broken and wouldn’t close (obviously been forced open before) , room heat was turned off (22 degrees outside and about 50in the room when I walked it. No tv, just a Roku hooked up for you to log into any of your apps. Coffe pot in the room didn’t work. No elevator to second floor. Sketchy cars in the parking lot. Never again

The restroom near the office was marked "out of order". After talking to management, it\'s pretty clear they have no intention of removing the sign. When there are 3 or more occupants in a room, it\'s important to have another option when someone is in the shower.

Says it has a pool, and it does, but there’s no water in it! Says it has a washer and dryer, but they don’t work. If it does not wo, at least put a sign on it BEFORE I put the money in, please! Three years in a row… no water in the pool, stop advertising you have a pool!!!

The guy at the counter was rude, the whole hotel smelled like urine & cigarettes, the pool was already closed, the bottom of the wood furniture (side tables, desk, etc) were deteriorating like the room had been flooded at some point (& we were on the 2nd floor), doors don’t latch properly, microwave was dirty. The only good things I can say about this hotel is that is in a good location & the housekeeper was friendly.

Upon arrival the manager was very nice. He even decided to open the pool for me that he said was broken. I was very happy about that since it was the only reason I had chose this hotel. When I got in I could see the issue was that it really needed cleaned. Lots of floating bugs and settled dirt on the bottom. It didn't really bother me though. I didn't stay in long because I was very sunburned so I was freezing. Next is our room. It smelled like smoke. I did mention this to him because I didn't want to end up paying the fee for cleaning a room that has been smoked in. He did say he would move me. But I was fine with the smell, again I just didn't want to pay the fee. The comforter on the bed was badly stained and even had a cigarette burn in it. It was comfy as we're the pillows. You get 6, so plenty there. Overall I do feel that the hotel and room were clean, and if I could find a good deal and needed to stay in the area again I would.

Curtains and chair were stained up and nasty. We were in a non smoking room but our room and the whole hotel smelled like an ashtray. This is a $50/night hotel that is charging $100/night. Avoid it if you can.

Room very dusty. sheets and towels very stained. electrical outlets did not work for coffee maker, curling iron, or blow dryer. Light bulb dim and exposed in the bathroom. refridgerator was sitting on top of luggage rack, so not sure where they expected me to put my luggage. just very unclean

Coffee pot in room had coffee left in it that was starting to mold. My kids feet turned black after running around the room a few times from the carpet being dirty. Mysterious spot on comforter that looked like it would come out in the wash. Table by bed was sticky. Bathroom had leftover trash in can and on toilet base (empty soap wrappers) the toilet had what I'm assuming was poop smeared on the side probably from the plunger. There was an older couple checking in ahead of me who asked for a 4am wakeup call and the guy working asked why he can't set an alarm on his cell phone. My sister in law also ended up getting a room there at the last minute and said she had a roach in her bathroom. This is what I'd expect out of a $50/night room... Not $100+ I'm being generous by not giving 1 star ratings only because I have experienced worse!!

I’ve stayed in Days Inn before, I know it’s not as great as other hotels, but this place was disappointing. The clean sheets had pubic hair on them. The floors were not vacuumed well. The toilet constantly was running. The water pressure was not great. They clean every other day. When I asked for new towels I was handed clean towels that had long black hairs on them. It smelled like smoke throughout the building. It’s a place to stay, but if you have the option to go a little further north to Harrisonville- I’d highly recommend doing that.

Not a bad motel, but not the worst for sure. As all the other reviews state, it’s a bit out of date and the burn holes in the bedding is definitely not the best thing. Our toilet flapper was so screwy, sometimes it took 5 minutes to get the toilet to flush, which was by far the most annoying part of the stay. Otherwise, it wasn’t bad. We felt safe and it was nice that everyone minded their own business. I’d give it an average rating.

This hotel and the owner was the most terrible experience I have ever had at a hotel ! It was so bad I left the following morning instead of staying my other day I had paid for . The room had a broken door that didnt even lock , you could see thru the door . The beds were hard and the owner was extremely rude from the check-in until we left . The breakfast was a joke. There was a waffle maker with syrup but no waffle mix . Old cereal that was stale and discolored . A few honey buns and a swiss roll . Wasnt even able to eat breakfast .Will never go there again !!

As for the room: the deadbolt did not lock; Tv was synced to the remote but not the Dish receiver and ended up locked on a Pay Per View channel; the A/C must have been set high because it was very warm in the room making it difficult to sleep. Dropped A/C to 60 degrees just to keep the unit running but it never really cooled down. Would not recommend staying at this facility.

We arrived on a 90 degree afternoon, room AC was off, so it took hours for room to cool down; internet was spotty, but front desk was able to help with that issue.

The guy who checked us in was incredibly rude. The free breakfast is terrible. They only give carbs. Their milk was bad and the cereal stale. Which i could have looked past but,to top it off, they have a sign on their desk that says 3rd party bookings require a 100$ deposit and they never gave us our deposit back. They went back and forth saying they dont require one, so why is it posted on their desk? Makes no sense. They could easily show we weren't charged a deposit if they gave a receipt but they refuse. I even called and they took 2 emails of mine but still didnt send one. Seems extremely shady and really put a dent on my experience during my trip. Would not recommend.
The guy who checked us in was incredibly rude. The free breakfast is terrible. They only give carbs. Their milk was bad and the cereal stale. Which i could have looked past but,to top it off, they have a sign on their desk that says 3rd party bookings require a 100$ deposit and they never gave us our deposit back. They went back and forth saying they dont require one, so why is it posted on their desk? Makes no sense. They could easily show we weren't charged a deposit if they gave a receipt but they refuse. I even called and they took 2 emails of mine but still didnt send one. Seems extremely shady and really put a dent on my experience during my trip. Would not recommend.

This hotel and the owner was the most terrible experience I have ever had at a hotel ! It was so bad I left the following morning instead of staying my other day I had paid for . The room had a broken door that didnt even lock , you could see thru the door . The beds were hard and the owner was extremely rude from the check-in until we left . The breakfast was a joke. There was a waffle maker with syrup but no waffle mix . Old cereal that was stale and discolored . A few honey buns and a swiss roll . Wasnt even able to eat breakfast .Will never go there again !!

The guy at the counter was rude, the whole hotel smelled like urine & cigarettes, the pool was already closed, the bottom of the wood furniture (side tables, desk, etc) were deteriorating like the room had been flooded at some point (& we were on the 2nd floor), doors don’t latch properly, microwave was dirty. The only good things I can say about this hotel is that is in a good location & the housekeeper was friendly.

Upon arrival the manager was very nice. He even decided to open the pool for me that he said was broken. I was very happy about that since it was the only reason I had chose this hotel. When I got in I could see the issue was that it really needed cleaned. Lots of floating bugs and settled dirt on the bottom. It didn't really bother me though. I didn't stay in long because I was very sunburned so I was freezing. Next is our room. It smelled like smoke. I did mention this to him because I didn't want to end up paying the fee for cleaning a room that has been smoked in. He did say he would move me. But I was fine with the smell, again I just didn't want to pay the fee. The comforter on the bed was badly stained and even had a cigarette burn in it. It was comfy as we're the pillows. You get 6, so plenty there. Overall I do feel that the hotel and room were clean, and if I could find a good deal and needed to stay in the area again I would.

My pillowcases had hair on them. Sheets had grit in them. Breakfast was absolutely deplorable. Rotten bananas and just junk for breakfast.

The front desk attendant was very sweet and helpful. The stay was excellent. Waffles in the morning was a nice touch. Next time we're in Kansas I'm pretty sure will be staying here.

There was a stale odor to the room, and I don't know where it came from. But my clothing smelled of it when I left. The mattress was lumpy and I woke up with a backache. Best thing was breakfast - big bowl of fresh fruit, and I took a couple of pieces with me.

There was nothing unique about this hotel but it was a decent value and was very clean. Breakfast was carbs only - no meat or protein and only bagels, waffle maker, cereal. My only real gripe was that the only towels were face/hand sized towels. I am 6'4" and used all to dry off with.

Cheap rates, free parking, interior furnishings are stuck in the early 2000s and look outdated, breakfast is basic (bagels, waffles, Twinkies, apples, cereal), duvets had holes, pillows were stained, it's better not to look too closely at what you get.

The bed was comfy. The pillows were not as fluffy as should be. The water was hot, but the towels were small and thin and not enough of them. The hallway had a cat urine smell. As evidence by a cat roaming the hallway. Just concerned about guests who have serious allergies. Fruit in the breakfast area was usually bruised or old and starting to shrivel. The price was right and we felt safe. When we did see hotel staff, they were polite.

I walked into the hotel and it smelled BAD. Indian Curry smell was overwhelming. Got into my room and very humid. A/C was off. Took awhile to cool down. There was a significant odor. Room had NO remote control. I talked to staff and they said they couldn’t find another remote. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Pool was closed. Unfortunately this was the only hotel in the area. I couldn’t change hotels. I was booked for 3 nights. I only stayed for 2 due to a wedding in town and left. I do not recommend.

I have to say I was kind of freaked out by one or two of the reviews I read after reserving my room. However, the room was nice there were no bugs, no sign of any issues. There were a couple of noisy incidents that lasted less than 2 minutes. There was plenty of parking. Close to some places to eat. I have no complaints about this hotel. One thing I will say is that whoever picked the design for the bathtub should think again. It looks like squashed bugs in the design. So much so that I actually touched a few of the black spots and found them to be in the design not on the surface of the tub. Nonetheless it makes it look like bugs. Probably a poor choice for the tub. One last thing. Please provide directions for the tv. It is not intuitive. Please provide instructions for turning off the tv. It took me 30 minutes of actually trying to get the tv to turn off. Finally I touched a few other buttons and the screen went off. But I considered that a miracle.
