Weiss Lake Lodge

The cabin is set up more like a camp ground. You have to walk to the toilet and/or shower. No TV, the pool was not ready to swim in. Pets are not welcome according to the sign on the office window. However, the cabin was clean, the toilet was clean, the shower could have done for a quick clean. The staff were excellent (especially the gentleman at the check in/out desk.) God knew that I would appreciate my home luxuries (adjustable bed, TV, game console, etc.) by doing without for a few days. It was my mistake to stay in the cabin instead of a room. But it was worked out well for me. Peace and quiet.

Quaint little cabin. Clean and cozy. Perfect for a camping weekend experience. Quiet and calm.

every employee we met were super friendly and helpful. the pool was closed for refurb, there was a very large unavoidable pothole pulling into the property

Stopped over to visit family for a few nights. No muss room with a bed, tv, mini fridge, shower, and separate sink. It's not updated and the cabins don't look like they're active anymore, but a reasonably priced place that met basic needs.

Very friendly check in. Rooms were clean but lighting in rooms was terrible. Good TV service. We had no Wi-Fi because a code wasn't given to us at check in. Comfortable and clean bed. Again, the guy that checked us in was very accommodating. I think the lighting needs to be improved and an ice machine would be nice.

Where to start... Busted up driveway, open electric box, sand in bed, snoring neighbor needs CPAP... Left early. Can't upload photos

I have stayed in many rooms here, all were a great experience! Very clean, smells nice, always stocked on amenities. Staff is also very helpful! Thank you Weiss Lake Lodge!

The place is named with a lake ans shows pictures of the lake but NO LAKE. It was the only reason we chose the property. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING for the entire family. Roaches in the room. STAY AWAY

We called the property before booking on hotels.com to ask if they had pet friendly rooms still. We have stayed at this property probably 20 times or more with our dog. We were told they no longer allowed pets. Reluctantly we found a sitter for our baby and stayed anyway. When we arrived to the property there was not 1 but 2 huskies in 1 room and a smaller dog in another room. When I questioned the staff about it. He said that he just couldn't turn anyone away that he was a animal lover. I totally understand that, but I don't like to leave my girl either and I was told she couldn't be on the property. I tried to let that go we were booked for 2 nights. We get up and go to the lake with family the next day and when we get back @ 5:00 they had not even serviced our room. No clean towels/washcloths. When we question why we were told they do not do that anymore because they have walked in on people in inappropriate situations. Um.... They know to knock right?!?! To be honest I used to like to stay here because for the most part it's clean and they are friendly. It was still decently clean and the guy at the counter told my husband he was just helping out and didn't technically work there was nice but if he doesn't really work there I mean he can't help what they do or don't do. For me this is one of the worst experiences I have had at this property and after staying here many many times I think I will just look into a new place to stay!

I guess for the price it was okay for my husband and sons for an over night hunting trip. There were no towels, washcloths or any shampoo/soap in the bathroom.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. I'd have no hesitation about staying here again, or recommending it to others.

I was skeptical at first (I usually am when staying somewhere for the first time) but was super surprised at the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff also. Cannot say anything bad about this place. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Great staff, old school style, and old school beds that need to be replaced. That mattress bounced so much you'd think you were on a water bed.

Lots of room, especially the bathroom. Very basic amenities. The bed could use a thicker mattress pad and more pillows! Was clean though and felt safe. Good for the price!

People at desk was helpful . Room has lazy boy recliner. Which is perfect for me. I have back problems and made the stay more comfortable

it is a old time motor lodge but not run dow. its up to date and clean and quaint.. the staff is amazing and nice. they actually have real keys not scan cards.. i felt safe kinda like mayberry.. i was there for hiking the area. it was perfect. i will stay again

We got fish a high school turbulent Our A/C did not work and lights did not Work in bath ,so could not take shower

Everything was great. I called to let the staff know that I would be late checking in and the gentleman was super friendly even though I didn't arrive until after 1pm.

The property was very quaint but you need new cleaning staff and an attendant that is actually in the office. Also, doing away with the shady activity going on would help tremendously. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving our motorcycles outside.

Reservation clerk awesome! He helped me tremendously last 2 visits! Nice 1st floor rooms only.

it is a old time motor lodge but not run dow. its up to date and clean and quaint.. the staff is amazing and nice. they actually have real keys not scan cards.. i felt safe kinda like mayberry.. i was there for hiking the area. it was perfect. i will stay again

So straightforward. Good place to rest and clean up after a fishing trip.
