I've stayed here before, but its been renovated since then. Check in and check out was very quick and the employees were nice. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use some love. There is a car wash on the other side of the building across from the lobby that is loud all day. There is a lot of parking and the parking lot is well lit. I would stay here again.

I liked the cleanliness and fresh paint of the property’s exterior. The desk worker recommended local restaurants and provided complimentary coffee, but the office where coffee was laid out often opened late in the morning (nine or later). The Loaded Cafe provided good food a short walk away. The bed sheets were flat sheets, and left some of the mattress exposed. The property might want to invest in fitted sheets. We stayed here for a bit of sightseeing before a Long Beach cruise.

Our stay was nice. The ac worked great, the bed was very comfortable. The shower on the other hand had no water pressure. The parking felt very safe and well lit. The property was very clean. Check in was fast and courteous.

Room was newly remodeled and front desk attendant was friendly. Bright lights come through the blinds all night, curtains are needed. Floor in the room was very dirty. Car wash next door very noisy and opened at 6 am …could not sleep in. No coffee at all…. we were told there was coffee in the lobby but it was closed and locked in the morning. Single BBQ was in the middle of the parking lot and was very small and covered with rust.

CABANA INN This hotel was old and not keep up well.. . . . Desk cleck barely spoke English . Unable to answer questions about parking for cruise..which was main reason for choosing this place! Floor was laminate floor but were so dirty my feet were black from walking around. Not enough outlets to recharge phones (3)

Room was dirty , the pillows had make up smears on them, the comforter under the sheets had hairs and stains. I told the manager on site mike and he took a picture of how dirty the pillow was and he stated they wash the sheets daily but comforter once a week. The bed was really hard could feel the springs on it , I had to checked out because the room was so terrible. Will never be coming here again

My only comment is that, not that well put together, jacuzzi was a bit dirty/ hair in filter etc. 2 different towels had hair. Hair on the floor. Would’ve liked to feel safe while staying here. Sanitary wise

First i did arrive 3 hours too early i asked if room was ready he said yes but wanted to charge me $35 extra i said no i would get something to eat...if i didnt already paid for the room I would of left.So when i got to the room floors are so dirty i got out of the shower and just walked to the bed my feet were black. The walls have holes . The walls have rotting baseboards. The faucet has severe damage in the shower. Patchwork on walls but not painted. Not in a great place homeless sleeping in front on sidewalk. Beds were alright. Only place to eat close is either jack in box or a over priced cafe 3 blocks away ....its next to a car wash thats open yil 10 pm

Vrbo host scammed our 3 week vacation. Chitan & Umang we’re very helpful & considerate to our situation. The room was exceptionally clean & completely remodeled with new cast iron tub, new shower, new toilet, new granite vanity, new porcelain sink, and new sink faucet, with a fridge & microwave. The rate was very reasonable for the quality of room. Most importantly, the service was priceless. Thank you Gentlemen!!!

The photos are not accurate. The hotel was very nice 30 years ago I am certain. But it is old, needs updating, and not really clean. The jacuzzi tub was still nice though. You need to get "permission" from the manager if you need enough towels to use the jacuzzi tub though. the towels are paper thin. the walls are beat up. The parking was convenient, and free.

The remodeling was poorly done. My wife was pregnant and our only option was the 2nd floor. Once on the second floor the guest below us complained about my two children making noise prior to there complaining I asked to switch out rooms to avoid the guest below us getting mad and they said they could not accommodate that request. Also there was a noisy carwash located directly behind our room we needed the TV on just to cancel our all of the noise from it. Then the TV stopped working eventually and I realized the TV was not properly mounted and could have fallen on my children.

Bed frame was broken or something. Hit my shin on it twice. Toilet ran all night and day. Very few amenities; no coffee machine. Sink didn't have any hot water. There was duct tape on the refrigerator. No lamps, just over head lighting. I guess a clear indication of inns condition is their sign, it's falling apart. This place is only good to lay your head for the night if that's all you need. Not worth the $100+ a night.

It’s a basic hotel, good enough for your basic needs. It’s pretty quiet for the most part, but the walls are extremely thin and it’s off the street so expect to hear loud sirens passing by. Staff are very attentive and friendly. My only complaint, housekeeping flipped/refolded used towels and hung it as if it were clean. Also, didn’t switch out all the pillowcases, it was very evident that two were new and one was used.

The room itself was fine, but the property was unclean and a far cry from the appearance in the pictures. There has obviously been a change of ownership as the Days Inn logo was removed from the property. Additionally the photo showing the continental breakfast was completely inaccurate. There was only coffee. The remainder of the area had shelves filled with ramen noodles, bags of chips and travel sized hygiene products for sale. The young man who checked us out was pleasant, but when we arrived it was to find the office door locked; as we attempted to enter we were joined by a man who watched us for about a minute and then pulled out the keys and let us in. His attitude was less than professional.

This was hands down the nastiest hotel I’ve ever visited. Dust everywhere, hair on the floor, dirty towels, dingy glass, and nasty smell!!! The smoke detector was missing and somehow was still BEEPING! I went to Walmart got supplies and cleaned it myself just to feel comfortable. I asked them for supplies and he brought windex to clean the whole place. I called to get the wifi password at 6:00pm and the attendant fell asleep on the phone, SNORING AND ALL! Never ever ever ever again!!!!!!!!

This was hands down the nastiest hotel I’ve ever visited. Dust everywhere, hair on the floor, dirty towels, dingy glass, and nasty smell!!! The smoke detector was missing and somehow was still BEEPING! I went to Walmart got supplies and cleaned it myself just to feel comfortable. I asked them for supplies and he brought windex to clean the whole place. I called to get the wifi password at 6:00pm and the attendant fell asleep on the phone, SNORING AND ALL! Never ever ever ever again!!!!!!!!

We have had an employee stay at this location for an extended period of time for a long term project. We check him in weekly as he goes home on weekends. The check in process is quick and easy every time. Every room he has stayed in is clean and well kept. The staff is kind and attentive. Our employee raves about the location and staff. For me, as an employer, I place my employees in a lot of locations all over the country and finding a gem like the Cabana Inn & Suites makes my life so much easier. It is the perfect fit as the too things I need are met. My employee is happy with the location and the it is affordable. What else could you ask for.

This place is a great value. The rooms are nice and it's a convenient location to see various things in Long Beach. The surrounding area is a bit off-putting but the actual cabana property is very clean. Definitely a hidden gem.

I have stayed in almost every hotel around and in Long Beach, CA. So, of all of the hotels around the area, I like this one the most. The staff is helpful and above all else the place is clean. I recommend this place. Is close to everything and right across from the Long Beach college. You know what this means; lots of security, so you dont have to worry about your car being broken in to.

Room walls and bathroom walls needed a huge wipe down. You could see dirt and other matter on bath room doors and shower walls. It was very convenient location to jump on our carnival cruise. Just could be a little more cleaner

This was an adequate place for the family to sleep for a couple of days prior to our cruise. The neighborhood seems a little rundown. The best part is getting a family of 6 in a family suite for a reasonable price. Not a glamorous hotel, but did the trick.

The room itself was fine, but the property was unclean and a far cry from the appearance in the pictures. There has obviously been a change of ownership as the Days Inn logo was removed from the property. Additionally the photo showing the continental breakfast was completely inaccurate. There was only coffee. The remainder of the area had shelves filled with ramen noodles, bags of chips and travel sized hygiene products for sale. The young man who checked us out was pleasant, but when we arrived it was to find the office door locked; as we attempted to enter we were joined by a man who watched us for about a minute and then pulled out the keys and let us in. His attitude was less than professional.

I liked the cleanliness and fresh paint of the property’s exterior. The desk worker recommended local restaurants and provided complimentary coffee, but the office where coffee was laid out often opened late in the morning (nine or later). The Loaded Cafe provided good food a short walk away. The bed sheets were flat sheets, and left some of the mattress exposed. The property might want to invest in fitted sheets. We stayed here for a bit of sightseeing before a Long Beach cruise.

Room was newly remodeled and front desk attendant was friendly. Bright lights come through the blinds all night, curtains are needed. Floor in the room was very dirty. Car wash next door very noisy and opened at 6 am …could not sleep in. No coffee at all…. we were told there was coffee in the lobby but it was closed and locked in the morning. Single BBQ was in the middle of the parking lot and was very small and covered with rust.

The TV wasn’t working. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The bedding and the towels had gross looking stains on them. It was a very musty holder in the room. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. This is just a really cheap and gross place to stay.

Nothing at all on what the pictures show or other reviews I read from the stays. Honestly Did not like it they can due better sheets where dirty and with dog paws and so was the floor. I hope they get better I did not take pictures of all the Things that I disliked . But like to be honest.

Property was well maintained and clean, in fact, I saw one of the managers sweeping the parking lot and pedestrian walkways when we were checking in. Speaking of check-in, the staff was polite and attentive and got me my room key in just a few minutes!

I will not be staying at this Inn again. No parking space, the room smelled horrible and when asked to move, they said there were no more rooms available. There was mold in the bathroom because there is no exhaust fan and the window is very small and high in reach. To finish it off, there is a carwash on the back of the Inn that starts making loud noise since 6am, and I mean loud. Also, the blankets and towels have stains. If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself. Good luck!
