Hotel stay was nice and clean. The elevators didn’t work a few times. The roof bar is only open on the weekend. No breakfast or coffee provided. There is coffee in the room with powdered creamer. The ac in the room would turn off. Shower was confusing and also had low pressure. Just a few things that weren’t great and for paying close to $300 per night, just not worth it. Will not be back.

The hotel was nice. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But there is no hotel parking, it is public parking for the whole area and sometime finding parking is difficult

Flight was delayed. Arrived at 10:20pm. After checking us in I was informed the elevators were out. Had to go up 6 flights of stairs. I had me knee replaced and am on disability. At the time of check in there were no other options.

WiFi was spotty, elevators were down twice, asked for 2 blankets and they came quickly by then housekeeping took one away before the end of our stay. Not sure why. Water pressure in shower was pitiful. Room was right across from the golds gym. So make sure you have your blinds closed at all times unless you want people to watch you go to the bathroom. Air conditioner was changed by housekeeping as well before the end of our stay. Very odd. Place was clean, housekeeping did a good job with that. Staff was friendly and location is convenient for the convention center, bay, lighthouse, shopping and eating.

Super nice small hotel. Rooftop pool makes it all worth it but view from the room is gonna be non-existent if your not a higher Hyatt member. Couple staying here for the charger game and it was super comfy. Also parking is easy enough Bed A+

Second time staying there first time with friends, second time with my husband and kiddos and both time had a great experience! From the hospitality to modern clean rooms! Would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

Good for a one night staycation. I do think the cleaning staff could do better. There was a robe with a hug blood stain in my room. Great area with lots of restaurants.

Very convenient location to shops and restaurants. Although amongst the outlets, it was very quiet and my felt safe in the area during the holidays. We utilized the bar, in house bistro, and the beautiful roof top pool. All seemed nice. Our problems began the morning of checkout, my husband took a shower and used the towel that was folded neatly on the bottom shelf. While drying off he noticed dark specks! Yup! You guessed it..rat droppings. The front desk was called and a young lady showed up to remove the infested towel. She apologized with a chuckle and confirmed what we already knew. My husband took a pic and was told we would hear from someone regarding the situation, here we are 11 days later and not a word from the hotel. He had to shower again and luckily we were on our way out, otherwise the ick factor and lack of acknowledgement would have prompted an earlier checkout. I wonder what else was missed in cleaning the room!!!

Clean property for the most part. The room walls, were the wall papers were, were quite dusty, the headboards had stains, and the curtains were dusty too. I loved how close the hotel is from shopping, dining, beach walk and the aquarium.

We stayed in a deluxe king room on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Nice room, comfortable, but definitely needed ear plugs to sleep over the sound of the air condensers outside the building . We really appreciated the hotel location and convenience of the parking and closeness to attractions. A really good option for a quick getaway!

I loved the easy walk to the convention center. The bed was extremely comfy. My only complaints are: the tv was not watchable from the bed, electrical outlets only on one bedside for device charging and no working desk area for laptop and zoom calls.

I rented a room with a King bed. It didn’t look like the photos. No couch at all. Only had one uncomfortable chair. Room was clean. Bathroom was nice. AC couldn’t be set lower than 66. The room got hot & had no air movement. Fridge was not cold. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Room was located on the 5th floor with windows to the quiet inner courtyard. Windows did open but we didn’t want to disturb our neighbors nor wanted them to be able to look in. I would stay again, but should’ve asked for a different room with a working AC & a couch as shown in the photos.

The staff were all excellent. Out TV went out twice and there was a problem in the bathroom which were all handled very quickly. The problem I had was with the sheets, comforter and pillows. The sheets were extremely hard, the comforter was lumpy and the pillows too soft. It made it difficult to sleep. The woman in the dining area was rude. She was not willing to go any extra steps for the customer. Not good, since this was the only food option inside the hotel.

Great hotel with a fantastic staff! They accidentally overbooked us but they found a room for us at their sister hotel that was 5 minutes away at no charge. The next day, the manager sent a bottle of wine to our room. It was an honest mistake and they more than made up for it!

We loved our stay, the front desk staff was amazing. They even offered a service to hold our bags until the room was ready since we arrived early. They were incredibly nice and helpful. The room itself was clean, well designed and functional. The shower is AMAZING. Literally, no issues with this stay at all. Loved it.

The tall Caucasian guy was rude at check in did not explain amenities like he did with other guests. The rest of staff were friendly. Did not like that you have to bring your stuff from parking garage that is not property of hotel

This Hyatt property is a nice spot in the middle of a very busy downtown area. This is not at all what we were expecting based on the photos advertised on Expedia. The location also was not what was expected. The area is extremely unsafe for tourists to the point that the hotel staff cautioned us about walking around the local streets. At night, even though we were on the 7th floor, the noise from the streets below kept us awake most of the nights. I will never stay in Long Beach again and hope that Expedia will improve their advertising -example -there are absolutely no beach or water views from the building as advertised and walking to the waterfront is not safe. This is an extremely industrial town. Having said that, the Hyatt itself was a clean and friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful, clean property very helpful attentive staff room was gorgeous and clean. Area around is also nice and clean, but there was a tremendous presence of street people.

The front desk staff did not seem to be as experienced or seasoned, but they were pleasant and helpful as it related to knowledge base if asked questions. Room service was exceptional. Shopping galore as well as restaurants & bars. Close to the beach and waterfront areas. Walking and access to everything is very convenient. They had a vendor marketplace going on in the heart of the hotel area. Very family friendly area and close to the freeway. This hotel is in the heart of the action for things to do and explore.

Hotel stay was nice and clean. The elevators didn’t work a few times. The roof bar is only open on the weekend. No breakfast or coffee provided. There is coffee in the room with powdered creamer. The ac in the room would turn off. Shower was confusing and also had low pressure. Just a few things that weren’t great and for paying close to $300 per night, just not worth it. Will not be back.

Loved the hotel. The on-site cafe/market has RIDICULOUS prices. $76 for 4 small cocktails. Do yourself a favor and walk a block or two for food & drink.

Everyone was soooooo kind, the food and drinks were wonderful and Alex the bartender gave exceptional service! He had wonderful suggestions and was soooo kind. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Location was excellent, the public parking right next door is well suited for those with an electric vehicle and much cheaper than a lot of the other hotels at $16 a day. The only downside is the hotel is not very insulated from the street noise there was some hot rod in of motorcycles and cars that can be readily heard.

Hotel was ok, decent enough location although our view was just facing in to the back of the hotel but can’t have it all I guess. Found the staff not to be very polite, particularly one guy with a goatee on the front desk, didn’t even say hi as we entered the hotel to check in.. all he said was what’s your last name. Done the job but wouldn’t book again. The parking is also misleading, it says they have limited self parking but they don’t have any at all. You have to park in a public car park at $16 a day.
