It was adequate for our 1 night stay. It was mostly little things, ice machine was broken, vending didnt work well, only a small amount of toilet paper, no extra, curtains didnt close all the way, no clock. One big thing was black mold on the shower head.

Room itself was nice enough. No elevator to second floor. My wife has eyesight problems and the stairwell lighting was poor. They claimed free breakfast, but virtually nothing there. Wehad to goto Dunkin.

The lady on reception was very helpful. The bathroom was very clean and I liked that it had handrails for the bath/shower. We didn't like the ice machine not working. No breakfast.

Building has been updated, clean looking facility. Poor management of parking lot which had built up ice in the parking spaces making it difficult to walk. Advertised with free breakfast…there was one honey bun in a plastic wrapper at 8am, so don’t expect anything. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

The hotel is very dirty, the room was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. There was hair in the bed on the sheets, and there was bug crawling on the bed. The chair in room filthy, lamp shades filthy, walls and ceiling dirty. As far as cleanliness, very unacceptable. The bed was very uncomfortable, I was afraid to lay on the bedding. Customer services could have been better, we were denied to be changed to another room. I asked for a refund and to check out, but was told I couldn’t get a refund until the manger came, which he never did. I was told someone would call me and this never happened. Dirty towels were left in my sister’s room

Was in town to visit family and go to a comedy show. I needed a place to stay for the night. we have stayed at other hotels in this chain before and they have been great, but this particular one was very outdated and dirty. No staff only one person working in the whole building came in dirty towels was still in my room. I was told that I was gonna get a refund never got it. No call or anything will never stay at this hotel again

Very dirty carpets and dust everywhere. We reached late with the baby, so had to stay there as its non refundabme. Else would have never stayed there. Carpets are so dirty, cant even step on it, screens are torn. Bedsheets and blankets were not clean. Towels were dirty. Not even washed. Few hairs on the towel. Breakfast- not fresh. Just packed muffin, juice and tea.

You could tell as you pulled up this wasn’t gonna be good. The lobby was ok. Once we got to the room it wasn’t so good. The floors were dirty.they definitely hadn’t been swept or mopped. Everything was just dirty. Even the covers that protect the beds. They had visible dirt and I’m pretty sure blood was on one of them. After inspecting the beds which did have bed bug covers which relaxed we a tiny bit, we opted for the one which passed inspection. There was hair left in the tub and the mirror didn’t look like it had been cleaned well ever maybe. There was also an odor.

Front desk staff not very friendly and did not explain anything about the stay. Sheets/blankets in room had stains on them. The carpet had something hard stuck to it in several spots. The room had a musty smell. The refrigerator did not keep things real cold. Sink in bathroom leaked all over the counter. There were bags of garbage piled up at the bottom of the steps where you exited the hotel.

Dirty, hair in tub,on toilet seat and wall in the batheoom. I sweat at night, but when i got up in the morning my pillowcase and pillow had mold on it. It did NOT show up when i went to bed. Just in general dirty. Some spot cleaning should really be done! Won't return. I have pictures, but they won't post for me.

Breakfast was terrible, it was coffee, first day luke warm,and store bought doughy pastry. The whole 3 days we were there the bed was never made. The first day the housekeeper apparently came in and took the used towels but never replaced them with new ones. I had to hunt her down to get new towels to use. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

The room was very large, we had a King bed and a double. Plus a roll a way cot, and had mor then enough room to move. The hotel is under renovations which fine, other then the very loud workers at 9am on a Sunday. We did not have any advance notification that there would be work that early. There is a Pizza Hut across the street, and a dollar tree. A Walgreens and dollar general all with in walking distance. Was about a 15 min drive to the fair grounds, but you would need a car to get around.

Check in was very quick, the beds are on these weird metal platforms in the mattress didn’t even cover the whole thing. Also, when I first went into my room, I noticed there was some sort of black ashes on my sink and there was a musty smell in the room. Other than that it was worth the price. You get what you pay for.

When we arrived we rang the bell as indicated. Nobody came for 15 minutes at this time 3 other guest arrived and were waiting. We called the hotel # twice heard the phone ring but there was nobody to pick it up. My son went looking for staff and found two gentlemen smoking a joint outback outdoors. One came in and was extremely apologetic but confused or high. All together it took 50 minutes to check in after we went back for times to get our access cards re programmed so I guess he was high. Our room was OK but the shower was really dirty, so much I went to the front desk to mention it but nobody was there. I waited again while pacing for about 10 minutes I noticed the laundry room door was opened and saw some soap so I went in took the soap and washed the shower/tub enclosure myself as well as the bathroom door, it was covered with white stuff. When I left Sunday morning we had breakfast there was nobody at the front desk for 40 minutes so we just left the room accesses cards of the counter. PS. black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I have a photo of the rag I used to wipe the shower stale. Some lady also wanted to exchange rooms she said it smelt like feces and the window was wide open with no screen. What a dump.

Worst hotel I've been to in a while. Staff was never at the desk. And when they were, they felt robotic and unfriendly. There was mold on one of the pillows, mold and weird stains above our bed, the toilet ran all night, there was someones little dog that barked incessantly all night. And then after a restless night, we were told there is breakfast in the lobby. We get down and theres just honeydew cinnamon rolls and an empty coffee careffe (this was 8:30am btw) Go figure they dont let you get your money back here because they know in advance youre already wasting it. I better get that surprise charge of 50 bucks back on my card. Each time I was at the front desk, it took 15min for staff to notice my existence. We had to wait a long time to get checked in. We arrived at 10 pm and our room was not ready. The lobby was dirty and the area smelled of marijuana. Our room had a broken coffee table and had a strong odour of marijuana. I would not recommend this hotel.

Disappointed because: No tv, water puddled underneath the ventilation unit, no breakfast. Finding the desk clerk was extremely difficult the one time he was found. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We were ther for a show and planned everything according to check-in time of 3PM. We did not get our rooms before 4:30PM so we missed part of the show. Front desk clerk was not friendly at all, he seemed like loosing patience really quickly whennI asked basic questions, almost agressive.

I stayed there one night for the State fair. Staff was very friendly. Property and room were in pretty good condition. The rate per night was very reasonable. I am always a little hesitant about budget hotels but I would definitely recommend this place. One suggestion - get a snack machine.

The shower spigot was dislodged from the wall. The reservation information says that breakfast is included. Theon breakfast items available were coffee and packaged cinnamon rolls. The staff acted inconvenience each time I asked a question. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not received the $50 refund from the security deposit that I was charged. There were people fighting outside my door the first evening I stayed. I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again. Thankfully the room was just used to sleep in, as I was busy during the day while was in the area.

Fine for a place to seep in the Syracuse area. We found it to be clean but very dated with a strong mildew smell in the room. As the other reviews stated there is a poor effort for breakfast basically non existing. It is conveniently located to SU (about 20 minutes). It was not worth the price but Everything else was sold out. If you can gut it for sub $100 it will serve the purpose.

The place is okay, but definitely worn down. Nothing horrible, but I wouldn’t take my family there. There cleaning cart remained posted in the middle of the hallway, didn’t offer cleaning during a multi-day stay, the door to really trashy storeroom was usually open, they coffee came with only powdered milk, there was a couple of old packaged pastries for “light breakfast”, etc. The location is next to a busy car wash, so if you get a room on that side, don’t expect any quit during the day

I was only there for one night, had no issues checking in later than expected. The only thing I would warn about, to make sure you check the address. I went to the wrong one first because it was the first that came up in Google maps. Both locations said it's a common occurrence. Friendly staff at both places.

Would have appreciated having the street address of the hotel in the Expedia email for reference. There was another Super 8 by Wyndham in the area and we went to that location first to check in only to be told we were at the wrong location. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

There was problem in their bank machine . They wasted almost 10 minutes and tried 3 different cards 3 times . As all cards work perfectly beige and after stay . And on the name of breakfast included literally there is nothing . They put only Cinamon rolls . Location is perfect for stay on the highway .

Super 8 usually offers a good breakfast and it’s one of the main reason we stopped there! We were unhappy to realize that we would have to stop for breakfast elsewhere because the offer was so limited… (Frosted Flakes, raison Brand and coffee)

After check in, it was down hill from there. We had an iron but no ironing board. I went searching for a maid for an ironing board…set it up and it was a pice of junk…literally fell over and had stains all over the cover. We had a chair in our room that we wouldn’t even sit it…all stained and nasty. In the morning, we had to call the front desk as the blow dryer didn’t work…they did have another one at our room within five minutes. Went downstairs for our “continental breakfast” which consisted of regular coffee (no decaf) and hot water. There were plastic spoons and forks, but not sure why as there was no food there a 8:00am. Building has been updated, clean looking facility. Poor management of parking lot which had built up ice in the parking spaces making it difficult to walk. Advertised with free breakfast…there was one honey bun in a plastic wrapper at 8am, so don’t expect anything. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

Had we not gotten into our room so late (went to a concert) we absolutely would have gone somewhere else! Not only was there black hairs all over the bathroom sink and counter, but in the bed as well! The extra "lock" in room was a joke and was barely hanging on. The stairs to get the second floor sounded like they were going to cave in...and when opening the room door, the hinges were so loud you could probably hear the creaking from across the street! For paying $173 plus a down-payment of $50 when checking in the room was absolutely DISGUSTING and the stay was mid at best.

Very poor customer service from the front desk. First of all, one of the two cards do not work, then too hot in the room and it took a long time for the AC to turn on to cool the room. The bathroom is USELESS!!! Sink clogged then toliet clogged. No plunger provided and they refused to send soemone else to come in and help fixing those flooding and leaking behind the toliet. We oculd NOT even use bathroom to wash hands or whatecer. What a WASTE MONEY and we did not even have a good night's sleep there. SSOO stressful for one night and we left the next morning right away because we could not use the water to brush our teeth, hands and etc. We will NEVER stay with Super 8 hotel ever again!!!!! NOT WORTH the stay at all!
