B&B in the heart of Newark. Gardens on the grounds, but a bit neglected. Our downstairs room was very small, but clean. Lots of antiques, nicely decorated. A common sunroom was very nice to spend time in. Lovely neighborhood to walk around. Breakfast was good, but just the one offering. Dining options nearby, but nothing fancy.

We were traveling by bicycle. Very convenient to the Erie Canal trail. The B&B has a garage for bike storage and a bicycle pump. After checking in we walked a few blocks to “town” for dinner at Craft 120 overlooking the Canal. Walked back to the B&B and walked around the lovely grounds. We had a first floor room with private bath and it was perfect for a one night stay. We were able to use outlets in the common area just outside our room to charge all our devices (watch, phone, garmin, bike lights). Bed was small (double) but very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and excellent coffee. Highly recommend to cyclists traveling through Newark

Beautiful bed and breakfast. The gardens are breath taking. The breakfast could have been better. I've stayed at many and they have asked us what kind of things that we usually like to eat for breakfast and they usually offer more during breakfast but that didn't happen during our stay. However, what we did eat was very delicious and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house and grounds with a variety of gardens and places to sit and enjoy the grounds. Our accommodations were clean, aesthetically appealing, and spacious. Our host was very helpful with information about the property and the locale. The breakfast was delicious !

Beautiful property and grounds! After a restful night's sleep, the host made a delicious homemade breakfast of peach waffles, whipped butter, and sausage. She sat me in the sunroom where and I could overlook the the wonderful gardens on the side of the house while Sinatra played in the background. Was a soothing, memorable experience!

Very nice B&B. The home is over 100 years old but kept up very nicely. Kimberly was a great host and very accommodating. Some of the mechanical stuff (blinds, door latches, windows) didn't work or move, but not a big deal. Shared a bathroom, but that was expected and turned out not to be a problem. The grounds were very nice, even for early spring. I imagine that they would be wonderful later in the year. Very quiet and relaxing. I'd stay here again.

Vintage home was lovely. The property was nice. Room was very clean. No shampoo in bathroom. There were no 3 prong outlets in our room which limited our ability to use our laptop.

This place is nice the host was ok she was a little short in her communication but everyone should up at the same time. Very vintage home. The room I stayed in was fine the bed was comfortable but its was quit dusty the lamp behind the door was a ball of dust and on the side of the Vanity. With small improvement this could a great place. The host made breakfast that was very good I do thank them for that.

Beautiful garden and breakfast are plus, vintage house with lovely decoration, our room is a bit small but cozy with super clean bathroom. Nice stop while touring Finger lake and Niagara Falls regions. Hosts are super nice and enjoyed conversation with.

The B&B is stunningly beautiful!! It’s spotlessly clean. My room was gorgeous with a chandelier and a pretty bathroom with lots of amenities and a claw tub. Everything was perfect.

This Bed and breakfast was great. They have done a nice job of keeping the feel of a house built in the mid 1800s and have carefully made the updates needed while keeping the old charm. The decor shows a lovely sense of art, and the antique furniture has been carefully chosen for functionality and atmosphere. I especially loved the large-windowed, elegant sunroom which was such a pleasure to sit in with a book by the pellet stove. When we arrived, the hostess let us know about a clock museum in the local library just a block away, and we were able to catch this unique treasure before it closed that evening. The town of Newark, NY has many affordable family restaurants. Within walking distance was the Canal View, and the next day we had delicious sirloin steak dinners for a reasonable price (plus an Asian-style robot carrying the food trays for the waitress) at the Cross Park Family Restaurant. The room we had at Vintage Garden B&B had a shared bathroom. This wouldn't be for everyone, but we had no problem with it. The hosts had plenty of personal bath supplies and a system for dirty towel storage that kept the shared space very well delineated. There are other rooms with a private bath available. The only complaint I have was the fact that we couldn't get our morning coffee before breakfast. Since I am an early riser, the icing would have been to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee in that sun room well before breakfast.

Beautiful kept with old class charm. The hosts Mike and Kim were very kind. I mentioned upon arrival in conversation how I was gluten free and both mornings Kim made my breakfast items gluten free and incredibly delicious. Everything was clean, quiet and cozy. Of the five rooms three have private bathrooms. We were in one of the two rooms with a shared bathroom. While slightly inconvenient at times it was spacious and clean and to me was no different than sharing our bathroom at home. If we are ever in that area again I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Vintage Gardens B&B for a planned trip to see a concert at Canandaqua. It is sufficiently close to CMAC to be convenient. The property/home are beautiful and the room was comfortable (I would like a fan or something for a little air movement in the room as it can get stuffy in August) and clean. The hosts were friendly and gracious and breakfast was far better than you'll ever get at any typical chain hotel.

We arrived early and the lady was super crabby. We offered to come back later and she made some comment about she made the effort to come over so she would check us in. Well her crabbyness didn't stop there. Place was super clean. Room was small. We would have been in trouble if we brought in our saddle bags. Not any communication from them concerning time for breckfast etc. We guessed breakfast was at 8. A nice gourmet breckfast but not a bikers breckfast. 1 egg with cayle tomato and 1/2 english muffin in an eggs benedict fashion. Not much to eat. The people at the other table were making plans to stop in Clyde 6 miles down the trail for breckfast.

I had one nightmare with this place.I lived in Singapore , first time use Expedia for hotel booking, by default two adults. I did not switch to one adult with 2 kids which is really my mistake. I arrived at the place late, it is like airbnb not normal hotel, the host opened the door reluctantly as I missed check in time, can see not feeling happy. Then when she saw two kids, she refused me to check in and insist I booked 2 adult and now it is one adult and two kids. I did explanation and asked for any option like top up for another room or let kids stay, I can stay in the car. The host lady is kind of rude and impatient, even I paid the hotel fee. I almost beg her in front of my kids, she was impatient and asked me to leave.I had to find another hotel, checked in almost early in the morning. In the end I lost the booking fee, and almost ruined my US trip.

B&B in the heart of Newark. Gardens on the grounds, but a bit neglected. Our downstairs room was very small, but clean. Lots of antiques, nicely decorated. A common sunroom was very nice to spend time in. Lovely neighborhood to walk around. Breakfast was good, but just the one offering. Dining options nearby, but nothing fancy.

Beautiful garden and breakfast are plus, vintage house with lovely decoration, our room is a bit small but cozy with super clean bathroom. Nice stop while touring Finger lake and Niagara Falls regions. Hosts are super nice and enjoyed conversation with.

We were traveling by bicycle. Very convenient to the Erie Canal trail. The B&B has a garage for bike storage and a bicycle pump. After checking in we walked a few blocks to “town” for dinner at Craft 120 overlooking the Canal. Walked back to the B&B and walked around the lovely grounds. We had a first floor room with private bath and it was perfect for a one night stay. We were able to use outlets in the common area just outside our room to charge all our devices (watch, phone, garmin, bike lights). Bed was small (double) but very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and excellent coffee. Highly recommend to cyclists traveling through Newark

Stayed at Vintage Gardens B&B for a planned trip to see a concert at Canandaqua. It is sufficiently close to CMAC to be convenient. The property/home are beautiful and the room was comfortable (I would like a fan or something for a little air movement in the room as it can get stuffy in August) and clean. The hosts were friendly and gracious and breakfast was far better than you'll ever get at any typical chain hotel.

This is a family-owned Bed & Breakfast so the owners are the “staff”. They gave me a cordial welcome and were extremely helpful. The property is a true gem, an ornately decorated 19th-century private home kept in immaculate condition. The area is quiet and you can easily walk to s variety of good eateries. A great stay!

Lovely house and grounds with a variety of gardens and places to sit and enjoy the grounds. Our accommodations were clean, aesthetically appealing, and spacious. Our host was very helpful with information about the property and the locale. The breakfast was delicious !

We arrived early and the lady was super crabby. We offered to come back later and she made some comment about she made the effort to come over so she would check us in. Well her crabbyness didn't stop there. Place was super clean. Room was small. We would have been in trouble if we brought in our saddle bags. Not any communication from them concerning time for breckfast etc. We guessed breakfast was at 8. A nice gourmet breckfast but not a bikers breckfast. 1 egg with cayle tomato and 1/2 english muffin in an eggs benedict fashion. Not much to eat. The people at the other table were making plans to stop in Clyde 6 miles down the trail for breckfast.

Very nice and beautiful property. Very clean and unique. Staff/owner was not very service oriented and borderline rude with us. Breakfast was terrible, not hot and so was the coffee. We felt the host wanted to get rid of us as early as possible. Overall bad experience when we had to interact with the host.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. The gardens are breath taking. The breakfast could have been better. I've stayed at many and they have asked us what kind of things that we usually like to eat for breakfast and they usually offer more during breakfast but that didn't happen during our stay. However, what we did eat was very delicious and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and grounds! After a restful night's sleep, the host made a delicious homemade breakfast of peach waffles, whipped butter, and sausage. She sat me in the sunroom where and I could overlook the the wonderful gardens on the side of the house while Sinatra played in the background. Was a soothing, memorable experience!

Very nice stay at the property. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. We typically do not eat salad on our Eggs Benedict (only 1 egg and only one half of the English Muffin), so a bit disappointing and hungry.

Kimberly and her husband were excellent hosts! From easy check-in, too touring us around her entire house and grounds! One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful B&B we’ve ever stayed at! Our guest room was ecstasy the picture and website showed it to be! They did not forget a thing! We attended a Darius Rucker concert at the CMAC, as they call it. Beautiful venue, beautiful country back roads to get there! Could not believe the homes around Canadagua Lake! Stay at night was wonderful, only two other couples that evening staying. The beds, comfortors, pillows were as to be expected in this high end establishment! Awoke to a wonderful, freshly made breakfast. I’ve included a pic, sorry, not good at remembering. Again, just exactly as the website includes! Kimberly is just the best. Husband, sorry, can’t remember his name, is a complete gentleman. Please, just to admire the beautiful grounds and conversation with them is wonderful! Please, this review is true! I don’t normally write this long, but it is a site to behold!

This is such a lovely home circa 1834! Kimberly and her husband have really made their home and gardens lovely and so comfortable! As hosts, they are very cordial and interesting to interact with. I highly recommend staying at Vintage.. we’ve stayed there twice so far and plan to stay there in the future when we are in the area!

Such a beautiful setting as the spring flowers were just beginning to bloom. Stayed 2 nights and the owner was very accommodating and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. Even though we declined a full breakfast the day we left, she still had fresh coffee and some delicious warm zucchini bread ready to send us off. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in the area!
