Very comfortable. Quiet. Has everything you need. Bar area very cold as the main doors open directly on to it. Food goes cold quick. Valet parking only at $79 per night. Fixed cost for breakfast of ~$35 regardless of what you eat. Nice shop in the hotel to buy basic snacks - expensive but cheaper than breakfast.

Room was clean, a view of downtown street which was beautiful during the day and night. Front desk service, Sara, in particular was very helpful! Disappointed that the bar and limited dining wasn't available until 5PM and no room service. The Market was available for delivery to room, though I did have problems using their app

Clean rooms with enough amenities. Housekeeping was great. Tables for afternoon and evening dining could have been integrated with the casual comfortable seating in the lobby, and the menu selection could use some added variety. Alcoholic drinks were focused on dry and bitter. The fitness studio was fantastic with lots to offer. No swimming pool unless I just missed it. Personnel were professional, courteous and helpful.

This hotel is in downtown San Francisco. Very convenient to major shopping, restaurants and public transportation. The rooms were large with amazing beds and an awesome shower! The only downside was they charged $75.00 per night for parking - and only valet.

Second stay at this hotel and again they delivered great service. Absolutely loved the gym on site and location is convenient to food and other stores. Hyatt has not disappointed and I appreciate their great customer service.

My room was amazing and it was one of the higher floors. The room was clean all amenities were great! Valet parking was excellent loved, the bar area and store. It is uniquely placed between the SF Giants baseball stadium and fisherman's warf. Close to transportation and the staff were excellent. The Doorman and Valet were so helpful, providing information related to sights and use of public transportation. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

Very dusty and didn’t have soap to wash hands for a day. Other than that we had an amazing view and the bed was super comfortable and shower felt amazing. Loved the mini fridge.

Very good dining area, great bus commute system from the hotel, very clean and well maintained hotel. The only issue for me was the fan in the bathroom which was making noise 24/7 and you can’t turn it off.

Hotel was amazing. Quiet, comfortable and the staff was exceptional despite the huge crowd during the holidays. Check-in and checkout was both seamless. Staff made sure to ask if there was anything I needed during my stay. Room was spotless and well maintained. Thank you for making my stay amazing. I will definitely come back!

It was a very windy day when we stayed here, we had to wake up due to very annoying noise coming from the upper side of the room. We called the reception and they said that they know that already, in windy days this happens and they are sorry that we had to wake up.really unacceptable at a hotel at that level!

All but the room! Great location. For Union Square and sightseeing and central to so much. Room was too hot even with AC blasting, and the blasting part was too loud to sleep comfortably. Shower is also just weird.

This hotel is newly renovated, with great design and luxurious amenities. It’s located in the city center, with convenient transportation, and right next to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. We booked a city view room, and the view was fantastic. Overall, it’s a hotel with good value for money. However, the soundproofing is terrible! When I was in the room with my two kids, we could hear inappropriate noises from the neighboring room, which shocked me, so I quickly turned on YouTube to play some music. Additionally, the parking fee is quite expensive, at $87 per night.

We had a double room above 30th floor, with awesome city views - we could see Alcatraz and peek at both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. We were right by the elevators and while I could hear them, I was so tired from days that they didn't keep me up or wake me up, but that might be a problem for some. Great lobby and lounge/bar downstairs to meet with friends before heading out.

My stay here at Hyatt was pretty good overall. Rooms were in great condition and staff were very courteous. Location was also be very convenient nearby the major highway for the oakland bridge. Only complaint I have is valet was not very efficient there was a 10-15 min wait each time collecting car and no one was ever around to answer calls to retrieve car beforehand.

What a fantastic experience from the Hyatt Regency SOMA. My daughter and I came to SF for a concert and arrived earlier than the standard check in time but the front desk handled this with ease. The rooms are excellent, the bar was friendly, and everything was first class

Arrived with quick easy check in. Got to the room they assigned us and unfortunately someone was already in the room. Went back down and they upgraded us for the inconvenience without even asking. Hotel very clean.

Two of their front desks were rude and needs customer service training. We were racially profiled and treated us unfairly. The concierge, security and housekeepers were all great, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. There were two instances when my husband was not allowed to stay in the lobby early in the morning (4 or 5 am). Front desk Ronald deliberately told my husband that loud people aren't allowed in the lobby. the next early morning, he was again allowed to stay in the lobby in spite the fact that he said he is a guest. Ronald explained that they don't want homeless people staying in the lobby. It's already an insult but I decided to let it pass as we are trying to enjoy the vacation. But on the last day, at 4am I phoned them and requested for a scale but I was told there is none. So my family and I went to the lobby and waited for our car. I overhead Ronald telling another staff in Tagalog , "may nanghihingi ng timbangan, anong akala nila dito palengke?" translates to "someone is requesting for a scale, what do they think of this hotel, a public market? I felt insulted so I went to the him and told him that it's included in the list. He was so surprised and made so many excuses. My family was so upset but instead of apologizing, they were confrontational and blaming us. Instead of de escalating the situation they have escalated it. I hope this can reach the management for further action.

This is one of my favorite properties to stay at now when I visit SF. It’s such a convenient place to stay as it’s located right around the corner from the MOMA, Union Square, and down the street from China Town. If you get to stay on a higher floor, you’ll have striking views of the city. There are quite a few restaurants around the hotel featuring different cuisines that are sure to satisfy any craving you have. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the property as well and I felt very safe staying there. The group has done an excellent job in maintaining it and their staff are very friendly. I recommended staying here if you can!

This Hyatt is in a perfect spot just up the street from Oracle Park at just .8 miles a way. It was an easy walk and relatively clean for as far as a major city goes. In the immediate area there is dining and a Target just a couple blocks a way. Overall a good experience and will be back.

Great location, nice building with beautiful views of the city. Rooms and surrounding areas are very clean, and bedding smells fresh and clean. Walking distance to places to eat. On the other hand, safety was a concern, homeless walk around too, one was screaming and I didn’t feel safe, it was scary.

This was one of my favorite Hyatts I’ve ever stayed at! Giacob at the front desk was wonderful, the staff were so friendly, and the buffet breakfast was delicious! Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to SF!

Close to museums, and convenient if you need to pick up travel items like a charger or food. You do have to not care about the disheveled state that downtown SF is in these days. The food was unusually good for a hotel restaurant. I gave less than five stars because of my experience at dinner. A good friend and I were trying to catch up over a leisurely meal (we live across the country from one another), and it was frustrating because our waiter kept trying to rush us out of the restaurant. It was bizarrely inhospitable.
