I was skeptical at first but it was alright. Took some time to get use to. Overall everything was good. The parking is the only issue, you have to park around the corner for $35.00 but if you go out more than once they charge you $10 each time you go out.

The room was clean, comfy, cozy, and updated. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. There’s no hotel specific parking but there are nearby parking garages. It’s literally right next to Union Square. My only tiny complaint is the lack of outlets. I’d stay again!

Location was excellent to Union Square. Luxury shopping nearly. Tiny room with NO AIR CONDITIONING in the property. Breakfast was great for a continental breakfast, however wheat bread as an option would have been nice. No gym. Really just a place to sleep.

Really great room. Very clean and tidy and nice design and amenities. Staff was very friendly. Parking is not provided (this didn’t surprise me as this hotel is more of a boutique hotel in the heart of San Francisco) but I did have to pay $85 to park my car for two nights. There are other options around so you may want to plan ahead.

Advertised breakfast was bagel and cream cheese, 7eleven type of pastry and couple of fruits served in some seating area with no tables so you eat on your lab. So no, I can’t consider this breakfast. No amenities like car parking/valet, gym, pool, common areas. Bed was supposed to be Queen but was smaller. All rooms have wall a front of the window. So no any kind of view. I’m just taking street or backyard, but no, just a wall. May as well remove the windows because no point of having it. Found bunch of hair in the shower, didn’t even complained, what’s the point. By then couldn’t wait till the morning to just leave. So do not stay here !

The mattress was too soft and quite uncomfortable. The sheets were scratchy and the material too hot for comfort sleep. There’s no air conditioning so the room get quite stuffy but there was a nice ceiling fan. Also there’s only views of the walls of other buildings around so don’t expect an actual view of any kind.

The location is superb! Really close to Union Square (less than a minute's walk) but much quieter. The bed was the comfiest hotel bed I think I've ever slept in! Room 501 is our recommendation- worth the extra over a standard room. It was so quiet and spacious, for a San Francisco hotel. I've read reviews where people complained about the breakfast, but seriously it was fine. Choice of pastries, fruit, coffee, tea and juice- enough to start you off for the day. If people dont like it they have the choice to go out and buy it, but we thought it was perfectly sufficient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, every one. We would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone.

Esly was very nice. She helped me several times when I called. Check in was smooth. We spent the day walking and taking Lyft over town and returned to the hotel to take a nice hot shower. Lovely.

We called and the man in the morning was so rude when we asked about the check in process. He told us we could check in early however he let someone else check in early? I was confused because he told us that everyone’s check in was strictly 4. Glad he was gone by the time we got back from eating because the next employee was there and he was so nice and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn at Union Square. The staff made our stay extremely comfortable, and were great at communicating and giving good customer service. We personally want to thank Angela, Jakara and Carlos for helping us when we emergently needed to add an extra night to our reservation. They kindly upgraded us at no extra charge so we could stay in the same room. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the king suite--having the extra sitting room was very helpful. The breakfast each morning was lovely and we appreciate this service as well. The location is excellent and convenient to public transportation and entertainment. We will certainly return!

Amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly. We were able to check in a little early and even upgraded to a larger suite at no additional charge. Also they held our luggage while we waited and the day of check out before we left to the airport to return home. The stay included a great continental breakfast. The location is next to the Union Square next to many shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when we visit San Francisco again. We highly recommend it and the price was perfect.

Asked for a wake-up call and they messed it up. Apparantly staff noted wrong room number. They did waive the $20 “amenity fee” which was not clearly described when booking. Why can’t hotels simply charge what you see when you book? Why is there always extra fees? No HVAC in the room - but that’s probably my fault for not checking - didn’t really need it since SF is cold at night. Beautiful room,they did upgrade me for free which was very nice. So a few goods and few not so goods. I would probably stay there since it is so well located.

I liked the location. Close to Cable car and Hop On. The neighborhood was sketchy just a couple blocks over but fine where we were. The hotel was king and narrow, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was limited and front staff not very friendly. I would stay here again though.

The Inn was great. The room was clean and cozy, the staff was extremely helpful. The area surrounding the Inn felt somewhat unsafe. We opted to Uber/Lyft instead of walking back to the Inn after dark. Finding a ride was no problem. Highly recommend the valet service of the Inn as well

Inn at Union Square is conveniently located close to the cable car and bus and 4 blocks from the BART. Our room was well appointed and quiet. The continental breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning. There is very little seating in the breakfast area so we took it back to our room. There is lots of shopping and restaurants close by. I would stay here again.

The Inn at Union Square is a tiny, affordable and highly personable hotel with lots of vintage charm but modern amenities. It's close to all the shopping Union Square has to offer and is within a 15-minute walk of the Moscone Center, without a significant amount of steep uphill exertion. (There's a little, but it's fairly minimal. Going the other direction towards Chinatown, however, requires much more significant effort.) Will happily book this location again!

Really comfortable rooms. Very convenient location with numerous different shops, bars diners, etc within 2 blocks. Hotel doesn't have its own bar or restaurant and the Continental breakfast is very limited for the price that is added to cover breakfast. And it doesn't open until 8am on weekdays... As we had to be at our event prior to 8 it was useless to us. Our team liked their rooms, and other amenities. I would have no issue staying there again.

Beautiful hotel and a great centralized location. The room was always clean and the staff was out of this world. The only thing is, if you didn't get to the continental breakfast when it opened, you will likely not get anything as they do not restock the pastries or refill the coffee.

Service was prompt & accommodating to all requests. Always very friendly & appreciate the 24 hour receptionist at the door. My suggestions or improvement: - Provide Breakfast trays, compostable utensils, better food variety. Breads, oranges and Dannon yogurt are limited choices (maybe trade some oatmeal pkts for less variety of breads). - Dump the plastic soaps and shampoos. Provide soap, shampoo and conditioner bars wrapped in paper packaging.

Really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean and staff was nice. The breakfast was very light with plain bagels, yogurt, and small pastries. BUT the $20 per day fee is on top of the cost we paid for booking, so transparency would have been nice

We had a quiet room that was very comfortable. The staff was young, affable and eager to help. The only quibble is that the breakfast was light on selection, the soda machine dispensed warm beverages and the ice was on a different floor. Small complaints to be sure.

The location of the hotel was extremely convenient with multiple public. Transportation stops within a block distance. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and while the room did not have central air conditioning, with the window open, the cool air outside cooled the room down. The only downfall was the continental breakfast. While we did not expect a lavish breakfast feast, all three days the options were the same: bagels, yogurt, fruits, and coffee and tea.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Union Square! The location is fantastic, just steps away from Union Square and within easy reach of many of San Francisco’s main attractions. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated having a ceiling fan in the room, which was a really nice touch. A very special shout-out and a huge high five to Fiel at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. He really went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco!

We had a great experience here from the time we checked into the time we checked out. The staff was very friendly and helpful and efficient. We love the atmosphere of the hotel. The room is very comfortable, and the quality of the sheets covers and towels were amazing. The rooms were extremely clean and up-to-date while still keeping the charm of the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel com excelente localização, proximo a lojas e restaurantes, bairro Unios Square Hotel antigo mas reformado, ponto negativo: nao tinha ar condicionado no nosso quarto, mas fomos no outubro, entao nem precisamos, mas no verao o ventilador do teto acho que nao vai suportar Banheiro reformado e limpo, assim como as roupas de banho e cama. Otimo atendente da recepção, Antonio!!!
