The room was beautiful and clean. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great - the craft cocktails and food were excellent. There was a nice coffee shop on the ground floor that also served good breakfast sandwiches.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Canopy in San Francisco, and unfortunately, the experience was not what we expected. The rooms are very small, and I felt the pictures online were somewhat deceiving. The bathroom was especially cramped, and the layout was awkward , the toilet seat was broken— you actually have to walk through the bathroom area to get to the bedroom. The valet situation was also frustrating. The valet attendant wasn’t there when we arrived, so I ended up leaving our key with the registration desk. At $75 a night for valet parking, I expected a much smoother experience. Parking in downtown San Francisco is already difficult, so the added expense and inconvenience were disappointing. We also had an unpleasant experience with victor the bartender, who was not very friendly and acted as though we were bothering him. The coffee shop also closes fairly early, however when they are open there coffee & treats are an A+. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, though, between the small rooms, cramped bathrooms, parking/valet issues, and the downtown location being hectic, we were disappointed with our stay. For the price, we expected more, and we would not choose to stay here again.
