So beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and tranquil. We had a wonderfully restful stay. The house is very nicely renovated and the guest rooms are tastefully decorated; very comfortable. Everything was great.

Coming in with the codes was easy... the stairs to the room were steep with bags, nit the best, there was water in room- good, but there was only a bed side table on one side and only power on one side of the bed- and the table was barely big enough for husband's C-pap machine- hard to charge my phone... bed too high. no hand towels. but biggest drag was that the cafe was under renovation and we really wanted a full breakfast. There was a poor selection of teas and no non-dairy milk options for the coffee. Place looked pretty but was a disappointment over all.

Lovely updated historic property just a short drive to downtown Freeport, but feels far away. Management is very friendly and accommodating for any specific needs. Overall - recommend highly and will stay again.

The Orchard House & Cafe was a serene and cozy establishment with thought put into every detail of our stay. Our entry was simple, the room was immaculate and well appointed with all the comforts of home. Breakfast was arranged and waiting for us with a generous time frame which meant we could sleep in! The only down side is … you don’t want to leave!! Thank you Bill for your hospitality and warmth! We can’t wait to visit again!

Bill has a beautiful property. The rooms are immaculate- clean, charming decor, lovely breakfast options in the morning, and you may be greeted on the property by his gorgeous and friendly yellow lab! He made us feel right at home, the Café is still under renovation but we hope he is able to open soon and wish him all the success. We will be returning to stay again.

Great place with a lot of history. Room was clean, well lit and really comfortable. Check worked as advertised. Owner was friendly and helpful with local recommendations and directions. Ice Cream was great too. The Orchard House was well thought of by locals as well.

I had a lovely, one-night stay at the Orchard House. The owner is very friendly and the inn is adorable - beautiful old house with cozy, updated, country-chic decor. Quiet and peaceful with extra comfy bed, delicious breakfast, and convenient to downtown Freeport. It was clean and fresh throughout, but the bathroom could have used a deep cleaning.

This was such a quaint property. The bed was comfortable. The room and home were clean. We stayed in a room with a library of books which would have been wonderful to read if we had more time. Breakfast was fresh and good. This is about a 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants. The town of Freeport was such a wonderful surprise. Good Chinese restaurant (China Rose) and fun LL Bean campus. I would recommend including a hand towel in the bathroom, and updating the shower, and making sure the conditioner/shampoo is full. Note that the property is close to a busy road so you will hear cars going by. Definitely recommend this place!

Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was fine- fruit yogurt and hardboiled eggs. No decaf There is no sound proofing if that’s a problem for you. We would have appreciated new towels for second day. Also we were cold one day when ac was on and it was quite cool outside.

Loved, loved LOVED the charming Orchard House. Our room was spotless and very comfortable and the little touches that host Bill provided were very welcome. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Orchard House was very calm, relaxing, clean, and cozy; however, I would not consider it a typical bed and breakfast in a sense that there isn’t a home-cooked breakfast in the morning. They do provide granola and boiled eggs and a very small table with four seat seats, but it’s clear that most people including us go out to eat breakfast which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as there is plenty to do in the area just not what I’m typically used to.

The Orchard Inn was the perfect overnight before my flight home from PWM. I was traveling solo and had room 3 with two twin beds - lovely room, comfortable and quiet, and had everything I needed. Loved the morning breakfast and coffee. I hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. Our room was quite small for 2 people, and the bathroom didn’t have counter space for toiletries.

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a very charming, old house with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast is very good and served in a cute and cozy dining room. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I'm pretty picky. Just a few minutes drive to the outlet stores and restaurants in town, but far enough away that it's nice and quiet.

Lovely b&b in an old farmhouse. Floors a bit noisy creaking, so light sleepers may have a hard time. Perfect location for a solo trip to visit family. The continental breakfast provided was great! Will stay again the next time I’m in Freeport.

The Orchard House & Cafe was a serene and cozy establishment with thought put into every detail of our stay. Our entry was simple, the room was immaculate and well appointed with all the comforts of home. Breakfast was arranged and waiting for us with a generous time frame which meant we could sleep in! The only down side is … you don’t want to leave!! Thank you Bill for your hospitality and warmth! We can’t wait to visit again!

Bill has a beautiful property. The rooms are immaculate- clean, charming decor, lovely breakfast options in the morning, and you may be greeted on the property by his gorgeous and friendly yellow lab! He made us feel right at home, the Café is still under renovation but we hope he is able to open soon and wish him all the success. We will be returning to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Orchard House! The kind and friendly innkeeper was around when we checked in. His yellow lab Bay is very sweet. We enjoyed visiting with him for a bit. The inn is very quaint and cozy. Our breakfast was good with fresh yogurt, berries and granola. We appreciated the quiet location just a few minutes down the road from the L.L. Bean headquarters shopping area. The Italian restaurant near there is amazing.

Great place with a lot of history. Room was clean, well lit and really comfortable. Check worked as advertised. Owner was friendly and helpful with local recommendations and directions. Ice Cream was great too. The Orchard House was well thought of by locals as well.

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a very charming, old house with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast is very good and served in a cute and cozy dining room. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I'm pretty picky. Just a few minutes drive to the outlet stores and restaurants in town, but far enough away that it's nice and quiet.

This was such a quaint property. The bed was comfortable. The room and home were clean. We stayed in a room with a library of books which would have been wonderful to read if we had more time. Breakfast was fresh and good. This is about a 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants. The town of Freeport was such a wonderful surprise. Good Chinese restaurant (China Rose) and fun LL Bean campus. I would recommend including a hand towel in the bathroom, and updating the shower, and making sure the conditioner/shampoo is full. Note that the property is close to a busy road so you will hear cars going by. Definitely recommend this place!

Coming in with the codes was easy... the stairs to the room were steep with bags, nit the best, there was water in room- good, but there was only a bed side table on one side and only power on one side of the bed- and the table was barely big enough for husband's C-pap machine- hard to charge my phone... bed too high. no hand towels. but biggest drag was that the cafe was under renovation and we really wanted a full breakfast. There was a poor selection of teas and no non-dairy milk options for the coffee. Place looked pretty but was a disappointment over all.

Quiet and peaceful with extra comfy bed, delicious breakfast, and convenient to downtown Freeport. It was clean and fresh throughout, but the bathroom could have used a deep cleaning.

Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was fine- fruit yogurt and hardboiled eggs. No decaf There is no sound proofing if that’s a problem for you. We would have appreciated new towels for second day. Also we were cold one day when ac was on and it was quite cool outside.

Orchard House was very calm, relaxing, clean, and cozy; however, I would not consider it a typical bed and breakfast in a sense that there isn’t a home-cooked breakfast in the morning. They do provide granola and boiled eggs and a very small table with four seat seats, but it’s clear that most people including us go out to eat breakfast which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as there is plenty to do in the area just not what I’m typically used to.

Quel bel endroit! Hors du temps, la maison est jolie et très bien rénovée. Il n'y a que le réseau wifi qui nous rappelle que nous sommes en 2023. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

This inn is in a lovely restored 200 year old building. There are five rooms and we stayed in three. The beds are comfortable. The king suite downstairs is beautiful. Upstairs feels more private as the windows aren’t on the walkway. The simple continental breakfast is nice and it’s great to be able to get coffee at 7. The dining and living room communal spaces are very pretty. The homemade ice cream served at the cafe is fabulous and not to be missed. There is highway noise if you are outside. What could have been improved is communication with the owner if booking with a third party, and the (locked) AC was on pretty high daily, actually making us cold.
