Stayed 2 nights to visit partners family. Love the style and the original features being kept. Quiet at night, AC goes very cold, so will be great for heights of summer. Close to bars and easy walk to Mdina.

We loved our stay at the MYN Rabat. It was the perfect location to explore the Mdina and Rabat with lots of great dining nearby. Highly recommend the room with in room bath tub and rooftop patio. The bed was really comfortable as well. Helpful and friendly staff.

Il y a 2 chambres supérieures au dernier étage de l'hôtel. La numéro 7 est particulièrement lumineuse et agréable, avec une très belle vue depuis la terrasse. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter Rabat et Imdina.

Super spacious room with terrace. Most helpful host who gave us tips on places to visit and eat. We would recommend this accomodation. It is in the heart of beautiful Rabat yet so peaceful and quiet. Rabat is a true gem on the lovely island of Malta.

Fantastic traditional property very centrally located. The room, en suite and terrace were enormous and bed very comfy. Couldn’t fault our stay here and would definitely return!

MYN in Rabat is a beautiful place. Such a privilege to stay in such a traditional building which has been modernised to a very high standard. The location is on a quiet street yet just a short walk from restaurants and bars. I really appreciated the easy check in and check out, as I was only in Malta for 26 hours. I had the cheapest room, which was very large and cleaned to a very high standard. The bathroom was large and had a fab shower - all looks brand new! I appreciated the toiletries - shower gel, shampoo, shower cap. Also there was a separate dressing area, plenty of storage, and everything you could need for a perfect stay including a hairdryer, an iron and a fridge. The bed was very large and comfortable. Plenty of pillows. High quality linen. One negative - not enough tea and coffee. And it would be great if the water cooler in the reception area could be filled. I would stay here again without hesitation. And thank you for the recommendation for Marie’s for brunch: fabulous!

The property has been well renovated to a high standard and is in an ideal location. I'm not a fan of guest properties without full time receptions, but I understand why it's required and there was nothing I could fault about pre-communication and check in. If there is nobody there at check in it can leave guests guessing about specifics (eg. Breakfast). The room is comfortable (Rm 4), however some attention is needed in the bathroom around the shower seals and rust at the floor drain. The refrigerator makes noise consistently which made sleeping difficult. The room also has some acoustics issues, every sound down the stairs and in the lobby/downstairs can be heard clearly. This could be just specific to that room as the door isn't opening into the courtyard. The lady we met at reception (I'm sorry, I didn't ask her name) was lovely; super helpful and gave us some great local recommendations, which we really appreciated.

The hotel is very nice and in a quiet place, perfect after a busy day! It's close to restaurants and the bus stop but you can't hear the noise at all. The room was lovely 🌹, it's was clean, it had all the necessities such shampoo and soap built-in in the shower so no small packages 👍and toothbrushes that we actually needed. All the staff we met, especially the hostess were friendly and very helpful. We got great tips for places to go and where to eat. If I would go back to Rabat I would stay here again!

Tano was extremely nice, polite, spoke perfect English , was helpful and besides having a miscommunication about the room being cleaned and tea, milk etc being topped up on one day. The hotel was fabulous. Very clean and we were given the ground floor room which was extremely large and catered for disabilities which was great as my partner has slight mobility problems with hips, knees. TV, , WIFI, tea/coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer, ironing board/iron, toiletries, even had more pillows, and 2 lovely dressing gowns ( which i only saw the day before we left!) Was able to contact Tano on his personal no if wanted to discuss anything. He even recommended a few Maltese restaurants . All facilties, buses. Restaurants, bars and Mdina within 3 to 10 mins walk. The only thing i would mention is that there was no mirror in the bedroom so whilst trying to dry/style my hair i had to keep walking back and forth to the bathroom which wasn't ideal. Otherwise MYN in Rabat is extremely recommended.

We stayed here for 5 nights and greatly enjoyed it. Very close to mdina and the busses to valetta, very quiet at night. Tano is very nice and always available to reach. He provided great information for us about the are and places to see. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Malta that doesn't want to stay in the noise of Valletta

Also there was a separate dressing area, plenty of storage, and everything you could need for a perfect stay including a hairdryer, an iron and a fridge. The bed was very large and comfortable. Plenty of pillows. High quality linen. One negative - not enough tea and coffee. And it would be great if the water cooler in the reception area could be filled. Tano was extremely nice, polite, spoke perfect English , was helpful and besides having a miscommunication about the room being cleaned and tea, milk etc being topped up on one day. The hotel was fabulous. Very clean and we were given the ground floor room which was extremely large and catered for disabilities which was great as my partner has slight mobility problems with hips, knees. TV, , WIFI, tea/coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer, ironing board/iron, toiletries, even had more pillows, and 2 lovely dressing gowns ( which i only saw the day before we left!) Was able to contact Tano on his personal no if wanted to discuss anything. He even recommended a few Maltese restaurants . All facilties, buses. Restaurants, bars and Mdina within 3 to 10 mins walk. The only thing i would mention is that there was no mirror in the bedroom so whilst trying to dry/style my hair i had to keep walking back and forth to the bathroom which wasn't ideal. Otherwise MYN in Rabat is extremely recommended.

Tano makes a lot of effort to allow his guests to feel comfortable and fulfil any requests. Gives good recommendations for pretty much anything. He arranged for us to be transferred from the airport as well which was really helpful due to logistical uncertainty on our part. Would definitely return to MYN

Wonderful historic place to stay, very quiet, and incredibly accommodating staff. Tano responded to the strain of numerous power cuts caused by heatwave with grace and hospitality! Great transport links to get across the island by bus or taxi by the Mdina. Local people incredibly friendly. Restaurants within 5/10 min walk of hotel were all excellent especially Bottegin, whose service went above and beyond.

We stayed here for 5 nights and greatly enjoyed it. Very close to mdina and the busses to valetta, very quiet at night. Tano is very nice and always available to reach. He provided great information for us about the are and places to see. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Malta that doesn't want to stay in the noise of Valletta

We loved our stay at the MYN Rabat. It was the perfect location to explore the Mdina and Rabat with lots of great dining nearby. Highly recommend the room with in room bath tub and rooftop patio. The bed was really comfortable as well. Helpful and friendly staff.

The property has been well renovated to a high standard and is in an ideal location. I'm not a fan of guest properties without full time receptions, but I understand why it's required and there was nothing I could fault about pre-communication and check in. If there is nobody there at check in it can leave guests guessing about specifics (eg. Breakfast). The room is comfortable (Rm 4), however some attention is needed in the bathroom around the shower seals and rust at the floor drain. The refrigerator makes noise consistently which made sleeping difficult. The room also has some acoustics issues, every sound down the stairs and in the lobby/downstairs can be heard clearly. This could be just specific to that room as the door isn't opening into the courtyard. The lady we met at reception (I'm sorry, I didn't ask her name) was lovely; super helpful and gave us some great local recommendations, which we really appreciated.

Loved my stay here. So close to Mdina and all the sights you need to see. The guesthouse feels really traditionally Maltese with nice tiled floors and a beautiful staircase. Also had lovely Maltese photos around the room. My room was huge with so much space for everything. The room was super clean and fresh and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a log every night for a week!!!. It’s such a quiet place to stay. You don’t hear a sound from any neighbouring rooms. No one coming and going in the night or early mornings. Just so peaceful. I have nothing negative to say about MYN … loved it here and would definitely stay again. Checking in with the door code was super simple and Liezl was so kind and helpful. Always on hand if you need anything at all. Would definitely stay here again. I had a car and the parking was available across the street in a little car park. If you’re looking for a quaint little stay away from the madness and busy areas then this is ideal. I stayed alone and felt totally safe here. Malta is safe for female solo travellers. Thank you MYN! ❤️

The location is also very good in quiet corner of Rabat but only a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff deserve special mention - they were extremely accommodating, responsive, and helpful - our holiday was certainly made far better by them.

A lovely property with well-appointed room and lovely terrace though not much view. However, excellent location- can walk to both Rabat and Mdina in minutes. Many restaurants, cafes and attractions within minutes. Very friendly staff and dog-friendly, too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend. Parking outside the door if available.
