I love the area of Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. We stayed in Davos Dorf at the Hotel Bunda. We came by train and it was about 3 blocks from the train station and not bad if you don't mind walking. They had a large breakfast which was good. We only were able to eat there one day. There is no air conditioning, however, in their defense, the evenings are cool and our French doors opened out into a balcony, so we kept it open until night fall. It was not bad for sleeping. They could not provide us a fan. The front desk is supposed to be manned until 1800 hrs but they leave early so couldn't get ice for our room. Also, the restaurant was not open on two days during the middle of the week. No elevator either, but they took our luggage up to our room. However, we left early in the morning, so we had to take our luggage down two flights of stairs.

Wir wurden rundum verwöhnt. Es war alles bestens und es fehlte an nichts. Es wurde sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohl fühlen.

Zimmer ok, Personal im Restaurant sehr aufmerksam und freundlich; Sauna/ Dampfbad viel zu heiß (95 Grad) wurde von mehreren Gästen beanstandet, aber nicht verbessert; wir hatten 3 Doppelzimmer gebucht und trotzdem Probleme wenigstens einen einzigen Parkplatz zugeteilt zu bekommen- nachdem der viele Schnee geräumt war. Chefin an der Rezeption überfordert und im Umgang mit den Gästen ungeschickt bis unfreundlich.

3 Stern Hotel mit 5 Stern Abendessen. Habe mich also selten jeden tag so auf das Abendessen im Hotel Restaurant gefreut, chapeu! Das Hotel ist dann doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise gab es Probleme mit dem Warmen Wasser. Das Personal ist dafür umso besser, wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zimmer waren trotzt älterer Infrastruktur sehr gepflegt und sauber.
3 Stern Hotel mit 5 Stern Abendessen. Habe mich also selten jeden tag so auf das Abendessen im Hotel Restaurant gefreut, chapeu! Das Hotel ist dann doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise gab es Probleme mit dem Warmen Wasser. Das Personal ist dafür umso besser, wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zimmer waren trotzt älterer Infrastruktur sehr gepflegt und sauber.
