Renovations are pretty and opened up the lobby.

Lacked towels one day, bed wasn’t made. Three times we had to get our key reprogrammed to be able to get into our room. Pool was dirty so we couldn’t use it.

Stains on the couches from the moment you set foot, dirty carpets throughout. Stained benches in the dinning area. Only one elevator working. No breakfast for over 30 minutes… when i asked at the front desk, all they said was… “they are short staffed”… completely overbooked, they put inflatable beds. The room had a moldy smell, the pillows stank like throwup. The bathroom didn’t have the dispensers filled. Had to ask three times. And then got handed a broken one. This place is falling apart and should not be a part of IHG

good location, well lighted, easy in and out.

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, breakfast was good, swimming pool clean

Landscape was beautiful. Easy access from the main road. Plenty of space to park.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was more run down than I expected. In my room coffee had been spilled on bathroom floor and in the sink. There were toe nail clippings in bathroom floor.

Good location for our plans. There were lots of guests (obviously for a convention in town) the first night of our stay and only one elevator of two was operable in the motel. TV was too small for room and the sound control was not loud enough to hear. Motel was clean and breakfast selection was excellent. Near shopping and restaurants. Overall, we would stay here again.

One-night stat as we were passing thru. Stayed here before. We like the area around the property and while the property is starting to show some wear and tear. Very good breakfast and staff is very friendly.

Room has broken fixtures. Needed cleaned better since it had food still on carpet, a toy by the couch, hair and dirt around the toilet and the room smelled like mildew. It worked for our quick stay over but wouldn’t have been worth it for anything more.

Our check-in was messed up. I tried to provide a different card for incidentals than the company card I booked with and so my reservation was cancelled and it took forever to get it resolved. I finally just had to pay for it and get my company to reimburse me. When we got to the room, immediately greeted with the smell of mold/mildew. There was standing water in the tub, the shower curtain was filthy. The next morning we went to get breakfast - no milk, just an empty jug in the fridge, messy counter. The serving trays were also empty. We got down there at a reasonable time too - not like we were just showing up near the end. I was holding the empty jug and thought - well at least I can throw it away, but I couldn't even do that because the trash IN the dining area was so full it was HEAPED up to the point I couldn't set an empty milk jug on it or it would have fallen on the floor. Like - it was in a balanced heap with a peak at the top. I honestly want to just give this one star, but even though our reservation got messed up, the lady at the front - Sharla I think - was trying to be helpful and juggle multiple things and made sure I didn't get double charged. Also I really like Holiday Inns, so I don't want to leave a 1-star because I mean, I slept ok. It's not like the AC didn't work or it was just totally nasty. They just really need to put some more care and attention into this property.

The staff was very slow and could not answer questions when checking in, despite no other clients waiting for check in. The general areas were very unclean-including floors, bathrooms, and major stains on every couch in lobby area. In the room, the carpet and bathroom floors were dirty, there was hair in the bathtub and it was obvious it had not been wiped down, the sink and bathroom counter had toothpaste and products all over it and mirrors were smudged. There were no amenities, such as soap. The towels were stained with red spots. And the beds looked incredibly messy and I'm afraid to say the sheets did not look like they were changed. Will not recommend or come back to this hotel.

After waiting 30 minutes to get checked in we went to our room once we opened the door you could smell that the carpet was mildew and that they tried to use a carpet cleaner to clean it then when we got ready to take a shower found that housekeeping didn't properly clean it there was rags from the previous person who stayed

Rooms are disgusting and smell terrible. There was a dry crunchy used towel in the bathroom so I know that bathroom hadn’t even been touched from the previous customers. The carpet is stained and has an odor it’s terrible I wouldn’t recommend. This property hasn’t even been up for that long for it to be THAT unsanitary. It needs to remodeled already and haven’t even been up a good 5 years of that long.

It looked as if the room cleaning was rushed. The bed cover was not smoothed but rumpled. There was dark hair in the sink, shower & on the bedside table. Also on bedside table was glitter and small rubber bands. On the floor was a large rock.

Tub drain didn’t drain. Had a problem with ac unit. It was fixed the very next day. Great service.

We checked in around 9:00pm for a two night stay. It was VERY hot in our room because the A/C had been turned off. When we turned it on it was making a LOUD continuous noise. We waited for almost an hour before it became so overwhelmingly loud we could not handle it anymore. We asked for another room and they said they were all booked and we should try and sleep without the A/C until they could get someone to work on it the next day. After another 30 minutes we said we couldn’t stay any longer and asked if we left would they refund us. The lady at the front desk said she was going to let the manager know how awful it was and get them to refund us our $386. We then left to go somewhere else. They then REFUSED to give us a refund.

The room darkening blind was broken

I have recently stayed in several hotels in the Pineville area and this was by far the best one! Very comfortable bed, quiet, and excellent blackout shades in the room. The decor may be a little dated, but don't let that fool you. The staff was friendly, the amenities were on par (except I wish they had Netflix-enabled streaming TVs), and the whole experience was excellent.

Room was nice.

Very clean spacious room. Nice and helpful staff. Quiet, room was by the elevator but never heard any noise. Had tons of storage space.The frig and microwave were in its own seperate area

The rooms were very nice. But you can hear all the noise in the hotel…people slamming doors, thumping and even people getting ice down the hall from the machine. Walls are very thin.

Comfy beds

Upon arrival, the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. However, during our first night, the A/C unit in our room was making a loud noise. We reported the issue and requested a repair, but unfortunately, no one ever came to fix it. As a result, we had to tolerate the noise throughout our stay. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, and the ladies working in the breakfast room were very helpful and attentive.

They overbooked. So I lost my room. I stayed with another person I was with. So I expect a refund from Expedia.

Expected to find bathtub, as seen in the illustration. Found shower instead. They told me no rooms then available with tubs. Then the issue of hot water. There wasn't any until I complained and the got the boiler going. Then later realized they charged my card directly to the hotel although already paid hotels com The manager, after I called them on this, said it was an error and putting it back on my card. I'll be keeping an eye on that.

Great stay, friendly staff

My overall experience at the hotel was positive. It’s conveniently located, clean and felt safe. The ladies who work the breakfast buffet with kind and friendly. The options were great. The only negative to my experience was the multiple charges to my account. My stay should’ve totaled $446, but in the end I had over $1500 in charges. I’m currently waiting for $791 dollars to be cleared back to my card. Even with this hassle, I’d recommend the hotel because it was nice.

Our TV didn't work. We called the front desk. She told us she would come up but no one ever showed. I went downstairs to purchase waters for the night, and the woman at the desk was sleeping. When we arrived I waited at the front desk to be checked in for several minutes, only to find the employee chit chatting on the couch. The property was satisfactory and the room was clean. My issue was with the staff member who checked us in and was there that night.

Check-in was terrible. Arrived at 2:15 pm and asked to check in early and told "No I can\'t do that and your room won\'t be ready until 3:30pm, maybe 3:20, she\'s fast." Then she left the check-in area. Told her that we had to be somewhere by 3. We came back at 3, which is when check-in is suppose to occur and she still didn\'t have a clean room for us. She left again. Another much nicer woman started her shift and was very helpful in trying to find us another room. Then the first woman came back and told her she couldn\'t move us to another room, so the second woman went to check on our room herself. The first woman left the hotel??? We finally were able to get into our room at 3:30, the floors were still wet in the entry and the bathroom, but the room was clean. The woman working the breakfast area was very nice and very friendly. We were gone for most of the day, returned to our room at 8 pm and the room had not been touched, no bed made, no fresh towels, nothing. My husband went to the front desk and was told that "you have to tell them during check-in if you want daily maid service"???? No signs anywhere, nothing on the online check-in states anything about informing the hotel that we wanted daily maid service. She gave my husband a pile of towels. We were not impressed by this hotel.

It’s a very nice hotel and close to where we were visiting. We had a great breakfast every morning and all the staff members we met were very nice and informative.

Tbe breafast had fruit, juices, and proteins, as well as starches.

Enjoyed the bed and pillows. Shower pressure excellent. Breakfast was fantastic- eggs, sausage, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cereal, juices. Located near many food options. Close to LCU.
